After reading so many great reviews, I was really looking forward to getting my car serviced here. The service was very efficient and the price was reasonable. I got ceramic tints for the windows and back first. Despite some bubbles and a large streak on the back, I was satisfied because they said it would all go away and I can wipe down most of the excess solution in a few weeks. Got my front wind shield done two weeks later, but this one had more obvious bubbles directly in my line of sight while driving. They were great about redoing the tint, but now there were bubbles on the edge. A month goes by, so I think the tints have cured enough. I wash my car and wipe the interior. What do you know, a lot of the bubbles haven't gone away and the streak is still there. However, I'll say it doesn't bother me too much unless I'm cleaning my car or the sun hits at a specific angle. These tints do the job that they're supposed to, so I'm not interested in getting these reworked. read more

I've worked with Alex the last few years, always asking for an estimate over the phone. If you come here as a drop in, his workers will falsely provide you with an extremely high estimate, trying to upsell. I've brought multiple cars to him, brought my family's cars to him & provided many recommendations to his company. This time I couldn't get a hold of Alex. They couldn't provide me with a time when he would be back in the office, nor on what day. I still came in hoping for the same excellent experience I've had the last 10 yrs. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. They left chemical stains throughout the inside and outside of my car. They also left deep gashes on my tailgate- measuring approximately 3 feet long. My car is brand new, 5 days old when I brought it to this place. They also left the tint strippings throughout my car. I don't know if Alex still owns this place or even works here. I will not be returning, and I'll be sure to let my friends and family know to go elsewhere. read more

First time I came here I was very happy with their ceramic tint install. 3 years later I returned and unfortunately the work wasn't as up to par. As a returning customer and mentioning my first time there I guess I assumed they would do ceramic again. This time after picking up my car I looked at the receipt and noticed they put down carbon. So make sure you establish beforehand what you want. Also, there were noticeable bubbles when I picked up the car. I was told they would go away in a few days and could take up to a week. It's been more than a week and the same bubbles I pointed out are still there. The cut around the edge of the window also wasn't exactly perfect. Prices are very fair, and they do give a lifetime warranty which I know I could had taken advantage of. However, it was time to find a second provider to make up for the prior mistakes. read more

5 years now and the tint is still holding up well. Not sure if same people installing but they were messy with the instillation process. A bit rough and careless with the interior of the car (water stains left on all the seats and dirt stains from shoes). Tint bubbled up and was falling off after the first day but they quickly fixed when I brought it back and no issues since. I hate that I have to write this review as been going to Alex Window Tint for 2 years now.. He's worked on 3 of my cars in the past and has done good business by me when things were going well. But how a person acts and chooses to do business when they make a mistake is where Yelp! really benefits the entire community. Today I brought my 2021 BMW M4 (with under 3k miles) for window tint removal (previous owner had it installed and I'm not a fan of window tint on Sports cars) and while I was there I asked Alex if he could also remove a stock carbon fiber trunk spoiler, since I had recently purchased a different one that provided a more aggressive look. Alex confirmed that he could remove the spoiler and accepted the paid job to do it. When I picked up the car Alex 'forgot' to give me back the trunk spoiler. I then call him when I got home (after I realized it wasn't in my trunk) and had to drive back to his shop to retrieve it. He then hands me the spoiler and I look it over and immediately see it is cracked down the middle. I disappointedly pointed the crack out to Alex and he quickly says that he was only 'doing me a favor' by accepting the job and then tried to claim that I brought it to him like that. I absolutely did not bring the lip cracked to him and I communicated just that to him by showing him pictures and videos of the lip from THE DAY BEFORE. He then sees the images I show him and how the lip was NOT cracked. He then admits that he might have cracked it, but says he was only doing me a favor anyways. I then ask him what in his mind is a fair way to resolve this and I said I felt that he should not charge me for the removal of the spoiler and removal of the window tint. He acted as if that request was crazy of me to ask and said the most he could do is give me a discount on future window tint. LOL. I feel that I was very fair in giving Alex a way out and he chose to stand his ground and not accommodate me in anyway. Shame on him as a business owner. What's most disappointing is that Alex is taking ZERO responsibility for not carefully removing the trunk spoiler on a job that he accepted and was paid to do.. and now I have to file a credit card dispute and unfortunately this YELP! review. read more
