AVOID I paid for…read morecolored XPEL PPF ($6500) and as best I can tell they installed cheaper Vinyl Wrap, poor install with many flaws and damaged parts of the BMW X5 ___ I brought my BMW in for a full XPEL PPF installation and was told the vehicle would be ready on Saturday, May 30. I then received multiple delays, first being told it would be ready Saturday night, then Sunday, and ultimately not receiving the vehicle until later. Two days later, I picked up the car and was charged for an XPEL PPF installation and was provided an XPEL warranty. The following day, I inspected the vehicle in direct sunlight and found numerous installation defects also observed damage to two window trim components, damage to paint on the door and found that the reflectors had been covered with film/tape. I then had the vehicle inspected by another professional. Based on that inspection, I was informed that the material installed appeared to be 3M vinyl wrap rather than XPEL PPF. Concerned about these findings, I returned to the Tint World location twice on Thursday, once around 11:00 AM and again around 3:00 PM. On both occasions, no one was there. The store was empty and in disarray. No one responded to my repeated phone calls and texts. I called an area manager at Tint World as well and haven't heard back.

After I got home, I realized my backup camera wasn't working so I had to go back to get an additional one installed with the same situation of charging more vs what was quoted. When I later went back because the camera system in my car was not working, he claimed I had never even been there before, despite the fact that I had proof of my previous visit. Instead of taking accountability, he denied it outright. The entire interaction felt dishonest and incredibly frustrating. On top of that, the way I was spoken to was dismissive and condescending. I did not feel respected, and I would not recommend this service to anyone expecting fair pricing or straightforward communication. If you choose to go here, get absolutely everything in writing beforehand and be prepared to stand your ground. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I found Luxury Glass after getting burned at another shop who not only did a subpar installation…read morejob but also damaged my brand new vehicle in the process. Luxury Glass is a Llumar Pro shop (and the only one on the westside), so I knew if I went with them they were going to be top notch. When I arrived at Luxury I was already nervous about someone else working on the car. But they were able to satisfy my every concern. Everyone at Luxury Glass was very professional. The shop was immaculately clean. They masked all the trim on the interior, all the tint panels were cut by printer and then refined on a glass board (no using the exterior of the windows as a template and cutting the rubber gasket like the last guy). They went above and beyond explaining to me and showing me the different tint shades and made sure I was satisfied with my decision. They ripped out the bad tint job and installed new Llumar Pinnacle Ceramic tint; at the end of the job I got a warranty card with the tint used and even the batch of the tint rolls used in case I ever need to file a warranty claim with Llumar in the future. This final touch was really what gave me the peace of mind I was chose the right place after making a mistake at first. From start to finish I felt so comfortable letting them do the work and would recommend for anyone looking for quality tint installation!
