I called in the morning and Robert gave me a fair quote for getting my car tinted. He told me to bring it in at a time he was available on the same day. Once I got there he gave me excellent recommendations and I came back to get my car a couple hours later. He was very communicative and transparent about EVERYTHING. Very refreshing. 10/10 would recommend and I'm telling everyone I know they should get tint jobs done at his shop. My car looks absolutely amazing. read more

My window tint was warped after 9 years and I was too lazy to drive an hour back to the place I had it done in the past. I also wanted to gift window tinting for my husband's truck so I reached out for AD window tinting. They were very responsive, answered all my questions thoroughly and was very well versed. They were able to do both my cars on the same day so it was convenient to get it done. After dropping off my first car they recommended a breakfast place within walking distance if I was going to wait around. It's in a quieter side of Santa Monica so it was nice for a quick walk for coffee. My cars were done in a timely manner, they were meticulous in care instructions and I very much appreciated the sticker across my window controls to remind me not to roll down for the following five days! Robert is the man - I took my 911 to get XPEL added to the exterior, and ultimately ended up doing the windshield as well. Seamless, perfect results done at a very fair price and in a speedy manner. Furthermore, Robert proactively reached out noting that the windshield protection from the manufacturer was slightly faulty, and ultimately replaced it free of charge (when he didn't have to). Robert is incredibly trustworthy, reliable, communicative, and skilled at his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone. A++ read more

I've been to a handful of window tinters now throughout my life. Robert @ AD Window Tinting is easily the most professional I've encountered. His shop is exceptionally clean, and he does a great job explaining their services and products they provide. He does a really clean job and well worth the money. It was really easy to get in the next day after calling for a quote. The Ceramic 20% on the front windows, and 55% on the windshield all look perfect. I wanted to get my windows tinted and was hoping to find the most convenient option for getting it done. Auto Deqals hit it out of the ball park. They were the most responsive and easiest to deal with by far. The fact that they could come rather quickly to my residence and at a reasonable price was just amazing. I had looked for a window tinter on craigslist, found 5 different ads, and asked each one for a quote for the cheapest tint for the five back/side windows of my RV. Not only did Robert have the best price BY FAR, but he was the most friendly in explaining the options, and he showed up at my place the very next day. He couldn't have been more helpful in showing me how the different shades (percentages) of tints would look on the windows inside and out, and was very patient as I had a hard time deciding (I settled for a mix). I then left him there for two hours, and when I came back, the windows looked AMAZING!! Super professional. I can't believe I only paid $120! Great Service! When I mentioned I needed to get tints for my car, a colleague of mine recommended Robert. He was available to come to my work the very next day, which made it extremely convenient and saved me the time of dropping off my car somewhere or waiting around for hours. When he came out to do the job he noted that a few of my windows were unstable and suggested we fix that first because it would be a waste of money to do the work with him if we didn't address the windows first. Robert came out on time, did a super meticulous job on my 2017 BMW i3, took his time, and was a perfectionist, and the whole wait which was at my house anyways, tint turned out Perfect with a capital P! He even offered another product that I think is very useful, door guards strips, it's a must! His price was very very reasonable considering it is also a home service and I didn't have to leave the house and waste time driving to and from a tint shop. His products are very good, I was after a legal tint that offers the utmost protection from the sun as my wife has the sun in front of her on daily commute to home, the Dimension 70 IRP is the excellent choice, a bit pricey but still cost way less than other brands, and it is exactly what my wife needed. Tint is lifetime warranty for as long as you own your car and I like that because I keep my cars forever. I highly recommend him and the products he uses. Thank you Robert! read more

When I later went back because the camera system in my car was not working, he claimed I had never even been there before, despite the fact that I had proof of my previous visit. Instead of taking accountability, he denied it outright. The entire interaction felt dishonest and incredibly frustrating. On top of that, the way I was spoken to was dismissive and condescending. I did not feel respected, and I would not recommend this service to anyone expecting fair pricing or straightforward communication. If you choose to go here, get absolutely everything in writing beforehand and be prepared to stand your ground. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I received excellent and professional service from a more than patient Kristina, who answered the flood of my lengthy questions in detail. While the services rendered all came out great and I never had any issues with the products for the entirety of me owning the car, it took a rather negative experience with another installer on my current car to realize how knowledgeable and professional Kristina / Impero actually is. During my negative experience with another installer, I received more support, more useful and accurate information from Impero than from the place I was having issues with at the time. In retrospect, I would've been better off had I just gone to Impero again right away with my new car, but I wanted a specific brand of tint that Impero isn't offering (for good reason, as I now know) so I went with a different installer (who even charged more). I can't recommend Impero highly enough to anyone looking to get their windows tinted, or their car wrapped, Kristina really seems to always keep up with the latest products and knows what's currently best on the market.

I got XPEL PLUS since I've noticed skin reacted from sunlight so I had some condition for a while. I could get the doctor's note but I'd like to try XPEL PLUS 70% first if it's really from the direct sunlight. Then, my condition got better after the tint. I was hesitated to go with XPEL PLUS since a lot of people mentioned the bluish color of that specific product doesn't match with the back windows. However, the color doesn't bother me. Also, I can get the clear view from the inside of my car which is great. My car mirror automatically adjust color already so I was worried what I can't see my side mirror reflection but it's clear as you see. The reason why I choose this shop is the skillset. The tints of the windows are very neat even though I'm not an expert. I'm glad that I found this place on Yelp! For your reference, my car is Volvo XC90.

I always go with the ceramic XR. LA heat is no joke and the difference it makes while driving is night and day. You won't need to blast your AC just to cool down because the ceramic does so much of that work for you. It's one of those things you don't realize how much you needed until you have it! For my setup I went 15% on the driver and passenger sides and 5% on all rear windows. You don't have to go that dark to feel the heat suppression but I love the privacy it gives me, totally worth it either way. On top of the tint work the hospitality here is great. They offer tea, coffee and water while you wait which makes the experience feel welcoming and relaxed. 100/10 across the board for service, quality and overall experience.
