May 2025: Sal is absolutely the best of the best. My only alarm remote died and he had the new ones paired and the alarm brain secured under the dash in under an hour. January 2026: AAA put a new battery in my van. My alarm wouldn't arm, and it wasn't the remote batteries. I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Sal. I stopped by because I was looking for ways to improve the sound system in my car. I didn't realize it at the time, but a head unit that I had gotten installed somewhere else had been configured in a way that was preventing me from getting the sound quality I was looking for. Sal helped me understand how much the current setup/config was limiting the overall audio performance. It's easy to find this car stereo and tinting location. Has lots of clear signage out on the main road. When I pulled in back, there was parking for about eight cars. I slipped into a spot and poked my head into the back garage. I was really glad that I came because Sal explained that for my electric car adding more speakers could be really problematic. The factory installed radio in our Hyundai Tucson died a couple years ago and we had it replaced at a shop that supposedly specialized in installing car sound systems in Torrance. Unfortunately, the installer couldn't get the rear speakers to work and the hands free phone on the steering wheel also couldn't be connected. In short we only had the front speakers working and lost our handsfree phone capability. And the sound was terrible. Finally after nearly 2 years of enduring that horrible sound system, we found Sal through a recommendation of Hank, a friend of ours who owns Elite car shop (an honest and very capable body shop for those needing one). Great recommendation it turned out to be! Sal recommended the right sound system using a Pioneer sound system and we had it installed with a rear view camera. He was able to fix all that the previous installer did wrong all while my wife waited at his shop. We are very happy with our sound system. I'd already forgotten how good the rear speakers sounded. Sal took the time to make it all right! And he patiently explained what was wrong with the previous installation how the new system worked. I called the day prior to my visit to ask if I could drop by to have someone look at a Pioneer radio that my dad installed in his truck himself. We were unable to delete or add any more phones to or from Bluetooth. Sal knew exactly what needed to be done. When I arrived, he started working on the truck right away and even took care of a few extra things. He asked if I wanted to watch and explained everything that he was doing. Turns out, my dad did not wire something correctly. He had to remove the dash, fix some wiring, relocate the mic, add some switch and a usb. I just bought a 2006 toyota tundra and I wanted to get the windows tinted. I went to this place because of all the great reviews on yelp I really was expecting something good. Sal quoted me 80 dollars for all 4 windows. the guy was really nice I have no problem with that but after the 72hrs curing time I noticed bubbles on the rear windows. I also noticed a white film on all the weather striping around the windows. Some of the stripping was also cut up in some places. I can understand that sometimes film does bubble then you take it back to redo, butt the worst part was that he cut the tint too short and with the windows rolled up you can see big gaps of tint through the windows. I took pictures of it but I don't know if the quality will be very good or if you will be able to see it. I will post them on Yelp so you guys can see that I'm not just flaring this place. the worst part is that I am unable to take it back because we moved to texas 5 days after the tint job. I would think if this company has 5 stars with Yelp you would only have to get things done once and done right. read more

I came to sal about 2 weeks ago after getting quotes in replacing my front speaker on my Nissan Altima. out of everyone Sal was the ONLY person that told me if I replaced my speaker I would lose all bass and he suggested I buy an oem speaker from ebay and would charge me only labor to put it on. other audio spots never took the time to even tell me what I would be losing if I changed my 1 speaker. I could not recommend this place more. Let me preface this by saying that I am a Mercedes Benz mechanic. I purchased a 2005 Mercedes Benz for my wife unfortunately this model does not have Bluetooth or an aux cable I checked with the Mercedes dealership and upgrading the system would be an enormous headache. I called Sal to see if he had any other solutions for us and he said he would take a look. Sure enough he had an aftermarket solution. He gave us an excellent quote for the work. I dropped the car off and when I picked it up the next day I was very impressed with his knowledge of Mercedes Benz and his work. I message Sal through yelp yesterday if I could just walk in and have my AUTO-VOX M6 hard wired , I was worried that there is gonna be a a bunch of people already have an appointment for today. I was able to get a quick response saying that they could do it this morning which is really great and he told me that although he is booked, he did the installation of the M6 in my car before they open, which is really awesome! Sal gave me a good price on the labor he offered $125 for the installation of the dashcam front and back camera. Other places I asked was giving me $170-$180 just to install my M6. THIS PLACE AND THE OWNER TRULLY CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS. He won't overcharged you especially if he knows the process is not going to be too complicated.
