Fixed my aux port. Was fast efficient and friendly!! I highly recommend using New Wave Sound.

This place way way over charged you don't ever go here I got a quote for some stuff that was like $500 went here because it was closer they tried to tell me over 2k for the same stuff. Save your self and go 10 minutes farther into Gardena. Rude and disrespectful as well read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This tint shop completely destroyed my BMW during what should have been a straightforward window tint installation. The technician's carelessness is mind-blowing: they **ripped apart the weather stripping** on my driver's side door, **shattered the rear light** on the rear windshield, and even **slashed my red leather seats** with a sharp tool, leaving an ugly, permanent gash. The seats alone cost a fortune to repair, and the shop's response? A shrug and a dismissive, "Oops, these things happen." Not only did they fail to take responsibility, but they also tried to blame *me* for the pre-existing condition of the car--as if I wouldn't notice fresh damage to my meticulously maintained BMW. The owner refused to cover repair costs or even offer a discount, showing zero remorse for their shoddy workmanship. Save yourself the headache and **avoid this place at all costs**. What should've been a simple service turned into a nightmare of property damage, wasted time, and outright negligence. If you value your car, go literally anywhere else. **1 star** - and that's being generous. read more

Danny is the shit! Ask for him he will explain and give you his thoughts he also is very patient

I have been coming to the shop for over 20 years. the installer Danny does very good work he is the only reason why I've been coming back. I deal with him one on one. I have been doing cash deals over the years thousands of dollars for the service and installation. stop by last week to make an appointment to have an alarm installed in my wife's new car. Danny quoted me $550 I've known Paul for 25 years I noticed his daughter would appear out of nowhere when I was in the showroom the last time I had any interaction with her I paid her $1150 cash for 7" touchscreen installed in my SUV you would think I've earned the respect from Paul not upset at all, but I will take my money elsewhere FYI 3105v viper Amazon 97.94 another guy I know for 30 years install the same alarm same features.for $350 read more

These guys are amazing. Being a single girl shopping for a better audio system for my car can be tricky.... I researched , read all the good reviews, and went there. Danny took the best care of me. Answered all my questions, did great work for a reasonable price. He was in communication with me the entire process and I couldn't be happier with my system! I can't recommend these guys more ! They do great work , are honest, and the customer service is phenomenal . I will be going back for whatever I need next! read more

Over charged me. Also, had tons of problems with my stereo they installed, had to go back 5 times. Paul the owner is a scam artist and has poor customer service. Danny is the exact opposite, he's very helpful. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you want to pay $550 for a $100 sub. read more

Came here today to get a new car stereo installed. I was in a time crunch and was trying to get home so I could hop online for a work meeting. The employee who helped me, Paul, and this business in general were nice enough to take my urgency into consideration and had me out the door in 15 minutes . 15 minutes! Everything is set up right and I appreciate them wrapping it up so fast. I was able to beat traffic and get home just in time. I came back to this place and have been a customer of theirs for a long time. The previous radio I had which stopped working because it was just so old was the one I was getting replaced. Now I'm looking forward to getting some of those car cams with them. Can never be too safe and people out there drive crazy. Anyways, very cool place and I loved that's it wasn't crazy busy at all. Definitely looking forward to coming back and doing more stuff with my car. read more

Danny was awesome on my radar detector install no gimmicks , straight forward! Good people

Needed an alarm for BMW and looked up New Wave Audio based on reviews. Pulled in a Saturday morning with Paul inside the shop, no customers before or after me. Bought the 2 way alarm and install and came back 2 hrs later with cash and tip. A few weeks later my passenger foot panel fell down and found out that it was not properly placed back and was not screwed in; this was very concerning since the panel needed to be secure for the alarm the feel the vibration/function properly (who knows if someone hit it before fix). Then my headliner starts sagging at top of windshield; I took a look and it's where the wires were tucked under the headliner edge for the transmitter, not carefully. It looked as if they tried to grab the headliner but in fact grabbed the fabric and pulled. Install was ok but attention to details crappy, especially since I paid cash and left tip. Felt like it was a chore for him when in fact it was an easy simple job that I overpaid for. I now have to spend to fix the headliner. Very impressed!! I wanted to get a new CD player installed in my old Mercedes to replace the (non-working) existing unit. The gentleman I spoke to said, as there are some features specific to the Mercedes, I should buy a used working MB replacement unit, and they would install it. I bought a CD player on e-bay and took it in to New Wave on a Saturday. A couple of hours later, the installer called me, and said the CD player I bought did not work. Frustrated, I authorized him to remove it, and assured him I would pay the charge we has agreed on. He called me a couple of hours later, said he had taken apart my original CD player, and fixed it! I could (and did) pick it up shortly. That type of customer service is unusual right now, and they will have my thanks, and my business, in the future. read more

Been going to these guys for years. Friendly and helpful staff. They give off the community vibes and always do great work.

Paul (owner) and Danny do great work and their experience helps to get the installation just right. Installed components and dynamat on my doors and everything sounds great. They also diagnosed a problem from a previous install. Work was done on time, on schedule. Thanks guys! read more

Inspection and the fix all took less than a hour and cost much less than many other places. Danny was very fast and respectful

Came in to replace my alarm control for my Nissan. They helped me right away and didn't take long . Thank you !!

Danny has multiple times now saved me a ton of money when he could of sold me other things I really didn't need. Recently my radio died in my Jeep. Danny took the dash apart and pulled it out. Checked everything out for me and found it was burnt out. He let me try to find another radio to put in it and not being able to put it back together with no BS. Paul and Danny have taking very good care of me and my family for the last 15 years. Hopefully for the next 15 years! Thanks Dudes! read more

I've used this place a few times and after being reminded of why I chose them I need to write this review.. I showed up about an hour before closing time, with a delicate installation of a few anti theft items and was worked in right away AND given the best price of the shops I called. In the past I've used New Wave for 2 car header installations. Each of which were a breeze. I already have something else lined up to have done and I'll be sure to recommend them read more

Nice fast and got it done I will come back thank you guys (: little pricy but it's quality work

Danny and Paul were super helpful and professional when I went in to get a new stereo system. It was finished in a very reasonable amount of time, even though I went in with no appointment. It looks and sounds beee-yootiful! New Wave was recommended to me years ago by my car mechanic when I wanted to get window tinting. They did an amazing job on that, too - still looks perfect. read more

This is a CompuStar authorized dealer. When my keyless remote stopped functioning, I came here to see if I could pay them to program it for me. Rather than program it for me, the man who runs the shop tried to convince me that I needed a new remote ($150.) For his price, he would sell me one for $70 or so (same as ebay) I bought it knowing that I needed my alarm to function. When the battery on my car died some months later, my remote was reset, I came back to see if they can re-program my remote for me. Because I was not there to purchase anything, the man made me wait 7 HOURS just to program my remote! after wasting 7 hours of my life in this shop talking to some lady with a parrot, I finally got them to program my remote for me after bugging them time after time, hour after hour, something that only took them a couple of minutes to do it seemed. Very shady way to treat a former customer in my opinion. read more

Paul and Danny are awesome! Straightforward more than fair pricing! Especially for the high quality of work they do. I came in looking to install a 12" sub into my Toyota Celica as well as replace a pretty bum stereo/radio. I was looking for a custom job, not just a sub in a box in my trunk and wow did Paul out do himself!!! The work was incredibly professional and everything I could have asked for. Made a side panel so you could see the amp from the outside, and tuned it so I was bumping as soon as I rolled out of the lot! About two weeks later I jump started a friends car, and all of a sudden no sound from the sub, I called Paul he told me to come right on over, in 5 minutes he had replaced the fuse, and had me on my way once more! Great service, and they are always their to answer questions! Will be going to them soon for some kickers! Recommend to all! read more

Paul is awesome... the fact that he's had the shop for damn near 30 years speaks volumes about his work... i've been bringing my cars here since i was a kid (i'm now 40) and Paul has never let me down... great products... great service... great prices... and a wealth of knowledge... today was no exception... he fixed an issue i was having with a head unit bought and installed by a competitor (sorry Paul won't happen again) and once again i am very thankful... bought some component speakers since i was there and he had me in and out in less than an hour ... worth driving across town for (from Downey) thanks a million Paul read more

I got my mom's Toyota tinted here 3 weeks ago. Once again they have done excellent job. Since I got my 1987 integra tinted here, this was only place for me to tint the car windows. I have 2005 sienna tinted here when it was new as on the picture. ( look how pristine it looks compare to one on the left tinted somewhere else) I also have 1996 trooper tinted here back in 1996. There are no fading and no bubbles after 20 years. New Wave Sound is the place to be if you want your tint to last longer than your car. Same location, same owner for last 30 years. What more can you say about this place? Highly recommended. read more
