I came in yesterday and explained that my stereo just stopped working and if he could diagnose and he said yes for $40. I said thats fine and he started diagnosing and after roughly 45 minutes or so he comes back and says I see power going to the amp but its not working so we feel you need to replace the amp and the converter for $950 and I wasn't comfortable replacing because they seemed stumped and of course replacing would most likely figure it out. Anyways I went to get a second opinion and when i received the diagnosis it was a loose wire and they didnt charge me anything so i save a grand!! Please yourself a favor and if something sounds funny or way over priced get at minimum a second opinion. read more

The owner is very nice and straight forward. If you're looking for tinting your windows I highly recommend this store. This is my second tint with the store. First he looks at your car and quotes you rates. The rates are very reasonable compared to market rates. I got my 2025 Camry tinted for $200. I could've done ceramic tint for $300. Can you believe that new cars that have the privacy glass on the back windows don't actually protect passengers inside the vehicle from UV rays, etc.... I know right, anywho.... Knowing this information, I seeked to find a place to get my windows tented and came across New Wave Sound in Gardena, Ca. After calling a couple local places, this was the most responsive location that offered a great value. The owner was very friendly and answered my questions about the service. Four all five windows (doors and back window) came out to a total of $240 + tax. The kicker for me is that it comes with lifetime coverage (so long as I own the vehicle and don't move to another country). Can't beat this deal and amazing work. This place was recommended by a customer service rep (Roxana) at Rydeen for buying and installing my rearview mirror backup camera. Bryan and his installer Jack are totally professional and nice. They also had the best price around. Al & Ed's wanted to charge over $200 more to do the same job. The camera looks almost identical to the original one in my 2009 Toyota Camery. The guy who owns the place Brian is nice Enough but I ended up taking my car to another place after I spent $120 for installation of an aftermarket stereo. The one I had installed previously sounded better than the one that was later installed. I let him know that is does not sound right and he stated that one of my Woofer was not working nor my speakers in the door and my speakers in the back did not work or so low you could not hear them clearly . I DROPPED OFF AND IT WAS PLAYING . He then shows my the connector that was fired. AGAIN it wasn't an issue before I dropped my car off. so along with paying the $100 for He asked for an extra $20 for the woofer component . He said that he installed based on what the system requires... I ended up taking to another location and they stated a few things not connected the woofer that he said was blown actually works the connection had to be reinstalled and they had to calibrate the stereo so now everything works. and they ONLY charged me 85 bucks so this total fiasco costed me $205 which is a damn shame. I always say do it right the first time .If your not 100% clear on what your doing. do not attempt it. If anything the best suggestion would be look .. BUYER BEWARE! I hate getting "tricked". Took my car last week and I have mixed feelings! The tint has bubbles everywhere and they "claim" it will go away in 7 days. I've had 10 cars tinted in my lifetime and this never happened when I left the tint shop. They better hope this is true or I'm acting-a-fool and getting straight ghetto on Mr. Lee!!! I bought a Groupon and paid $100.00. The voucher says "FULL VEHICLE WINDOW TINTING"... The options says 5 windows. .. why is this Chino charging $40.00 EXTRA for the small windows next to the big back windows? Who would not include those 2 small windows and leave them clear with no tint? THAT'S 40% EXTRA FOR 2 SMALL WINDOWS! ! Paying 40% EXTRA for those 2 very small windows is how they make their money back! I called a tint place that's blocks away and they said it would be $180.00 total with the small windows so I'm wondering how I got a "deal" for saving only $40.00 WITH FREE BUBBLES INCLUDED! Came to this place a couple of weeks ago to get my brand new 2017 car tinted. Brian did a lousy job. He told me no one ever brought their car back to get tinted over again. Thanks to the new wave sounds team I could finally clearly see out of my back window. They helped me understand a couple reasons why my tint bubbled up the way it did. I came here 5 years ago when I first got my car and they did an amazing job with my tints. AVOID THIS PLACE Wow, should have read through all the reviews before buying the Groupon. As others stated, they (Bryan) swindle you by trying to charge 40% more for the full 5-window car tint "deal" after you've already arrived for your appointment. Their argument, the rear windows that are separated by that thin, non-structural divider count as 2 extra windows. Seriously dude? This is a GTI, not a minivan. I really enjoyed the service I received from New Wave. I purchased a Groupon to have the windows of my Nissan Altima tinted here, and needless to say I thought they did a great job. There were 3 different guys working on the job and it ended up taking less than 40 minutes to complete. Sweet! I was offered 4 different tint shade options. I did have to pay a little extra out of pocket in addition to the Groupon to cover the two smaller windows in the back, as the Groupon only covered up to 5 windows, but I was okay with that. 3 weeks ago I got my mom's camry tinted here. Once again they have done excellent job. Since I got my 1987 integra tinted here, this was only place for me to tint the car windows. I have 2005 sienna tinted here when it was new as on the picture. ( look how pristine it looks compare to one on the left tinted somewhere else) I also have 1996 trooper tinted here back in 1996. There are no fading and no fingers after 20 years. New Wave tint is the place to be if you want your tint to last longer than your car. Same location, same owner for last 30 years. Bullshit....i been a customer since he started this business 20yts ago.... went to get my car tinted and had a few bubbles.... he told me it takes 2 weeks to mature.... 2 weeks later still bubbles... when I took it back he told me "just leave it like that! Your car is not new".... I lost all respect for Brian and his work.... he starting to be like typical Asian business owners who's businesses are in urban communities... not happy with this and I'm really disappointed in the way I was treated from someone I've been spending money with for the last 20 years....
