This review is overdue! After coming here for almost a year, I can confidently say these manicures are the absolute best I've ever experienced. I'm never going anywhere else as long as I live in LA! The hard gel manicure is my favorite, it looks incredible and grows out so nicely. It lasts 5+ weeks with no chips and allows my nails to grow longer than they ever have before. The space is clean, bright, and aesthetic. There's no strong chemical smells that some other nail salons have. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I got a last minute appointment for a mani and pedi. I forgot to get names but I had different nail techs for the mani and the pedi. I especially loved the manicure. I opted for a hard gel polish and the tech gave me exactly what I wanted. I came in with very short nails with some slightly damaged but she did a great job of shaping them in spite of that. I loved how well she cleaned the cuticles and was very meticulous with applying the hard polish. I always worry going to a salon for the first time but I left very happy and loving my nails. Location is super easy to find in small plaza with parking out front. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted and offered something to drink. Customer service was incredible. I had my names done by Mary. I wish I took a before picture of my nails. Gross, short, over grown cuticles and uneven nails. Two time boy toddler mom will explain it all. I am attending two back to back wedding weekends. I wanted something neutral yet beautiful. I showed Mary my inspo picture. She went straight to work and explained what we needed to do to get to our goal. I had always done gel w/square round shape. I went with something new, gel x and cat eye style. She explained what it was and the difference between between gel and gel x. She also mentioned that she was in the process of getting rid of some of the previous owners products for ones that are more beneficial for nails. Marys attention to detail is unmatch. Also, want to mention I just met her for the first time but felt like we've been friends for years. The salon is super warm and welcoming I left with stunning nails. They also don't prep your nails, she put the product on top of my nails that still had nail glue from press ons I had previously. I'm sorry to say I will not return here. I had one of the worst mani/pedicures ever. The nail techs I was seeing have moved on, and so will I. Why I'm not coming back? 1) Having a Russian manicure should not be painful. It was. 2) My cuticles were not cut back far enough and already I had to trim them myself. 3) My nails were trimmed unevenly, and again, I had to touch them up. 4) No base coat was applied before the polish. 5) Cuticle oil was never applied. Good customer service via text (I booked the wrong date and they were accommodating) 4. Pedicure - My feet look brand new. The callous removal was great. Cons: 1. 4 days later and my cuticles are peeling like nuts - I've had a Russian manicure before and have never had them cut like they did them at this place 2. I can't speak to the gel color options, but the regular color options are few and very old lady-esque. They also only have a few of the options they present on the menu. 3. I chose a color and asked if it was nude. They told me it was. They put it on and it was lilac. I said it wasn't nude, and she still insisted it was nude. Check the picture. It's lilac. I hate lilac. 4. They advertise offering beverages, including champagne. I wasn't offered anything. Still undecided if I will be back. Unfortunately due to the response of the management to my first review, i have to remove a star for customer service. The response provided by the business made it clear that he did not read my review in detail. His response was also riddled with errors and maybe assumed i was a different customer?? He thanks "JEN" but my name is Minnow. 1. it was not a busy evening, there were two manicurists with no customers when i came in and I called ahead to make sure it was ok to come in. 2. i did not complain about the coffee because i did not drink any of the coffee. 3. i didnt complain about the nails at all - i didnt even complain when she cut my cuticle and made me bleed. 4. i did not complain about the cost and i did not pay $75, i paid $90 because cat eye was extra. 5. The picture taken was 5 days after, it is time stamped and it was taken on an airplane not at the front desk. 6. i had my manicure on 11/14/24 Thursday. my original review states my manicure was on "A THURSDAY" not "last thursday" and the photo taken was taken on 11/19/24 Overall I'm disappointed that a 'business owner' would respond so defensively and unprofessionally without checking first all the facts. Some people aren't cut out for customer service industries i guess! Definitely do not recommend coming here, which is too bad because i feel the manicurists were really nice. read more

Please save your nails and your money, find some other place to do your nails at. I got russian manicure and pedicure with the regular nail polish. I don't know the name of the manicurist who did my nails, but it ended up completely awful. There were actually two of them, one started doing my nails, then she suddenly got sick and another one came to replace her. They damaged my nails using excessive force while drilling under cuticles. You can see photos with skin redness and puffiness. Bare nails after two weeks, you can see blue corners and lines near cuticle which is the signs of nail damage. Also the way she applied nail polish is disaster. I wouldn't trust her with gel (and then getting damaged nails and skin grilled in the uv lamp on top of that). They overcharge you $10 for getting manicure and pedicure at the same time, when other salons don't. Also they don't disclose it. read more

Kristina is absolutely amazing! She's very talented, detail-oriented, nice, and cares about what her clients want to make sure they leave 100% happy with their nails. Definitely book with her! I got a nail color change for a few of my nails. I didn't like the French tip look done by another salon (and my previous nails really bothered me every time I looked at them). I wanted to change to cat eye gel nails but felt hesitant because I didn't want to take too much of Kristina's time from her next appointment. Maybe she noticed it, because she let me select a color from the cat eye collection. She also did a second coat and took her time to make sure they turned out beautiful (which they did). I was a last-minute booking, but she didn't make me feel rushed at all. We were able to finish with enough time for her next appointment, even though she put in so much care and effort as if I was a full manicure session booking. Mary wasn't very nice to me, but maybe she was just stressed since they were fully booked, back-to-back. This positive 5-star review is for Kristina! Thank you! I have not had my nails done in a while because my nail tech relocated and he was the truest nail artist. Well, my search is over! I love and respect nail techs so much and the service I received this morning was pure magic (AND they had a robbery last night and everyone was still in high spirits this morning and that alone is above and beyond). Vinny was so kind and brought me a nice cup of coffee. Nazina (I might be misspelling her name, I'm sorry if I am!) is just incredible. I have actually never left a review before but I have been to so many different nails salons and I can confidently say Kristina was genuinely the best nail girl I've ever had, and just had to write one. I just moved to Palms and needed to find a good nail girl and I am so particular about how I like my hard gel and Russian manicure done, especially given my last experience left me with the nails you see below (all broken and no apex). Kristina somehow was able to fix all my broken nails and make them seem not only healthy but classy. I've just never met a nail girl that was so so meticulous and mindful of every little detail and gentle too, considering some of my nails were broken into the nail bed and she was so gentle with those that it didn't hurt at all. As you can tell in the pics below (lol I had her send me the pics she took cuz I love them sm), my nail beds are so clean and the color is colored right to the edge of my nail. The salon itself is also so relaxing and they have little stands you can put ur phone on to watch while they do your nails, which I found really nice. read more

There are plenty of pedicure places around for an average mani pedi experience, but I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail here. Heads up that this is a Russian style mani pedi place, meaning they use more sophisticated tools when polishing and cleaning your nails. This results in a more hygienic and precise job, and you get a real sense they're trying to go above and beyond for every customer. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to what was advertised. I came in specifically for a Russian pedicure and was left with calluses still on my feet, a nail shape that didn't look cute, and overall a very mediocre result. It didn't feel luxurious or detailed at all. I also had to go back and forth with the tech Raquel just to get hard gel, even though I requested it clearly from the beginning. She kept insisting on soft gel instead, which was frustrating since hard gel was non-negotiable for me. For a salon charging the same premium price as higher-end spots across LA, I expected at least clean shaping, full callus removal, and a polished final look. The location isn't the best, but I gave it a fair shot -- and would've had no complaints if the quality matched the price. Unfortunately, it didn't. read more

I stopped getting pedicures in recent years out of fear of infection and ingrowns due to some negative experiences. I am so glad I tried the new russian technique pedicures bc it is a GAME CHANGER. Sasha did my full service, she is sweet and patient and listens to everything you say. I genuinely felt sad saying bye to the staff bc of how friendly they are. I had no communication issues.
