Great experience with Keily. She took her time and made sure everything was how I wanted it. They had a big selection of gel colors and the place was clean and quiet on a Thursday evening. ALSO it's great to know they have a parking lot. Palms can be tough for that. Recommend checking it out! read more

If you are going for reg mani and pedi go elsewhere. She cut my nail so short didn't ask what shape I like nothing. I asked for short as possible not to the nub. It looked awful. I left midway the vibes are off and it's just no. Waste of my $40. Also no AC, god only knows what they are using on your nails. Needless to say I won't be back. Read the other 3 star reviews. I was so uncomfortable. The owner responded below I'm aware of what a dry pedicure and manicure are. There was a lack of quality and skill which was obvious. Dry pedi and mani are newer in LA not in the rest of the world. I walked out mid service that speaks more to than a process. My nails are so short they are uncomfortable. Your response is unnecessary and uniformed. read more

Mona Nail Studio - Nails so short, no shape! Their specialized skills shining through - Nail Technicians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I got a last minute appointment for a mani and pedi. I forgot to get names but I had different nail techs for the mani and the pedi. I especially loved the manicure. I opted for a hard gel polish and the tech gave me exactly what I wanted. I came in with very short nails with some slightly damaged but she did a great job of shaping them in spite of that. I loved how well she cleaned the cuticles and was very meticulous with applying the hard polish. I always worry going to a salon for the first time but I left very happy and loving my nails. The salon was clean and everyone was sweet and polite. I would go here again. read more

Mona Nail Studio - Hard gel polish. I forgot the name of the color. - Nail Technicians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This review is overdue! After coming here for almost a year, I can confidently say these manicures are the absolute best I've ever experienced. I'm never going anywhere else as long as I live in LA! The hard gel manicure is my favorite, it looks incredible and grows out so nicely. It lasts 5+ weeks with no chips and allows my nails to grow longer than they ever have before. The space is clean, bright, and aesthetic. There's no strong chemical smells that some other nail salons have. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I always book with Kristina because her attention to detail is superb! I don't live in the neighborhood but will continue to drive here for the quality service. read more

Great experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Recently under new management. If you tried this place before, try it again! Location is super easy to find in small plaza with parking out front. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted and offered something to drink. Customer service was incredible. I had my names done by Mary. I wish I took a before picture of my nails. Gross, short, over grown cuticles and uneven nails. Two time boy toddler mom will explain it all. I am attending two back to back wedding weekends. I wanted something neutral yet beautiful. I showed Mary my inspo picture. She went straight to work and explained what we needed to do to get to our goal. I had always done gel w/square round shape. I went with something new, gel x and cat eye style. She explained what it was and the difference between between gel and gel x. She also mentioned that she was in the process of getting rid of some of the previous owners products for ones that are more beneficial for nails. Marys attention to detail is unmatch. Also, want to mention I just met her for the first time but felt like we've been friends for years. The salon is super warm and welcoming I left with stunning nails. Like in disbelief that my nails looked so good. Truly left with a new personality. Look at after photos for proof. Cannot wait to come back and try some new colors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Nail salon reached out and was able to accommodate my needs by being less aggressive with the filing and no lifting on my nails this time.

Lana is the absolute best no one even compares. Her Russian manicure is quick and perfect every time! I went through so many different nail techs no one could ever get the shape I wanted they were either too fat or would break easily. If you're looking for a great nail tech try her out you won't regret it! read more

IN LOVE. Look at those clean clean cuticles!! New nail spot for me and I've always wanted to try Russian Nails. It's dry and they remove EVERYTHING. I mean everything. My nails and cuticles have never felt so clean. They have parking (it's a busy little lot but there was ample small parking). The owner was so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Always checking to make sure our drinks were full and we were happy. I'll be back! read more

I'm sorry to say I will not return here. I had one of the worst mani/pedicures ever. The nail techs I was seeing have moved on, and so will I. Why I'm not coming back? 1) Having a Russian manicure should not be painful. It was. 2) My cuticles were not cut back far enough and already I had to trim them myself. 3) My nails were trimmed unevenly, and again, I had to touch them up. 4) No base coat was applied before the polish. 5) Cuticle oil was never applied. The tech was nice, but for $120, she didnt get job done. read more

I was running a few minutes late from another appointment they texted and asked if I was on the way. I replied yes. 5 mins away. When I arrived they tried to count me as a "No Show" saying that's in their policy but it is not. They would not do my service, reschedule, or refund me. Horrible customer service Update: I was initially frustrated with how my appointment was handled. The salon later reached out, accommodated me on another day, and updated its policy. While I still wish the initial situation had been handled differently, I was happy with the service and appreciate their efforts to resolve the matter. read more

I'm so excited that this salon is local to me. Clean environment, friendly and talented staff, and was easy to make an appointment. Plus - parking was readily available during my morning appointment! I had a gel manicure that looks exceptional. The artist that did my nails, Victoria, was very detail oriented and thorough. I'm very happy with the service I received and will be coming back. read more

I had high hopes for this place, but sadly have to admit that I'm disappointed. Pros: 1. Cute, very clean place 2. Easy to get an appointment 3. Good customer service via text (I booked the wrong date and they were accommodating) 4. Pedicure - My feet look brand new. The callous removal was great. Cons: 1. 4 days later and my cuticles are peeling like nuts - I've had a Russian manicure before and have never had them cut like they did them at this place 2. I can't speak to the gel color options, but the regular color options are few and very old lady-esque. They also only have a few of the options they present on the menu. 3. I chose a color and asked if it was nude. They told me it was. They put it on and it was lilac. I said it wasn't nude, and she still insisted it was nude. Check the picture. It's lilac. I hate lilac. 4. They advertise offering beverages, including champagne. I wasn't offered anything. Still undecided if I will be back. The pedicure was good, but the other aspects were disappointing. read more

Mona Nail Studio - Really disappointed in this manicure. - Nail Technicians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The design was beautiful but the retention was bad. I already lost 3 gel x extension nails and it's only been 2 weeks. They also don't prep your nails, she put the product on top of my nails that still had nail glue from press ons I had previously. She kinda just ignored me or maybe didn't hear me when I told her about it, but it was clearly on there and she left it. read more

In my first review, i gave 2 stars, one star for a nice and clean trendy space. one star for kind and friendly staff. Unfortunately due to the response of the management to my first review, i have to remove a star for customer service. The response provided by the business made it clear that he did not read my review in detail. His response was also riddled with errors and maybe assumed i was a different customer?? He thanks "JEN" but my name is Minnow. 1. it was not a busy evening, there were two manicurists with no customers when i came in and I called ahead to make sure it was ok to come in. 2. i did not complain about the coffee because i did not drink any of the coffee. 3. i didnt complain about the nails at all - i didnt even complain when she cut my cuticle and made me bleed. 4. i did not complain about the cost and i did not pay $75, i paid $90 because cat eye was extra. 5. The picture taken was 5 days after, it is time stamped and it was taken on an airplane not at the front desk. 6. i had my manicure on 11/14/24 Thursday. my original review states my manicure was on "A THURSDAY" not "last thursday" and the photo taken was taken on 11/19/24 Overall I'm disappointed that a 'business owner' would respond so defensively and unprofessionally without checking first all the facts. Some people aren't cut out for customer service industries i guess! Definitely do not recommend coming here, which is too bad because i feel the manicurists were really nice. read more

I will NEVER not get a Russian manicure and OK Nail Bar will be my new spot. Lana was amazing. She made sure I was okay throughout the service and her attention to detail was great. The thing I love about Russian manicure's vs other places, is that they really take their time. Yes, it can be a little pricey, but you are getting what you pay for. The studio is also super cute. Please save your nails and your money, find some other place to do your nails at. I got russian manicure and pedicure with the regular nail polish. I don't know the name of the manicurist who did my nails, but it ended up completely awful. There were actually two of them, one started doing my nails, then she suddenly got sick and another one came to replace her. They damaged my nails using excessive force while drilling under cuticles. You can see photos with skin redness and puffiness. Bare nails after two weeks, you can see blue corners and lines near cuticle which is the signs of nail damage. Also the way she applied nail polish is disaster. I wouldn't trust her with gel (and then getting damaged nails and skin grilled in the uv lamp on top of that). They overcharge you $10 for getting manicure and pedicure at the same time, when other salons don't. Also they don't disclose it. read more

I have not had my nails done in a while because my nail tech relocated and he was the truest nail artist. Well, my search is over! I love and respect nail techs so much and the service I received this morning was pure magic (AND they had a robbery last night and everyone was still in high spirits this morning and that alone is above and beyond). Vinny was so kind and brought me a nice cup of coffee. Nazina (I might be misspelling her name, I'm sorry if I am!) is just incredible. The attention to detail was next level, NEXT LEVEL she was so careful and I just can't believe how beautiful my nails look. I highly recommend this shop and am excited for future visits. Kristina is absolutely amazing! She's very talented, detail-oriented, nice, and cares about what her clients want to make sure they leave 100% happy with their nails. Definitely book with her! I got a nail color change for a few of my nails. I didn't like the French tip look done by another salon (and my previous nails really bothered me every time I looked at them). I wanted to change to cat eye gel nails but felt hesitant because I didn't want to take too much of Kristina's time from her next appointment. Maybe she noticed it, because she let me select a color from the cat eye collection. She also did a second coat and took her time to make sure they turned out beautiful (which they did). I was a last-minute booking, but she didn't make me feel rushed at all. We were able to finish with enough time for her next appointment, even though she put in so much care and effort as if I was a full manicure session booking. Mary wasn't very nice to me, but maybe she was just stressed since they were fully booked, back-to-back. This positive 5-star review is for Kristina! Thank you! I love my nails (and can now function again)! read more

I stopped getting pedicures in recent years out of fear of infection and ingrowns due to some negative experiences. I am so glad I tried the new russian technique pedicures bc it is a GAME CHANGER. Sasha did my full service, she is sweet and patient and listens to everything you say. I genuinely felt sad saying bye to the staff bc of how friendly they are. I had no communication issues. I got the perfect pedicure. They also use a dry technique, no water bath; super hygienic. My favorite part was the drill used on the sole. Sloughed off all my dead skin. read more

Please keep in mind 3 stars means it was 'ok'. I came here with a friend, and both the ladies helping us were very nice. Pros: - super cute inside - there is a parking lot and an extra lot behind the center - clean - love the shape of my nails - fan to help dry your nails faster Cons: - all the yogi's next door take up a lot of the parking spots - because they don't use water, my cuticles and nails were very dry - they are super pushy about getting gel I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with European/Russian style manicures/pedicures before coming. Unfortunately my fingers didn't respond well and now ALL my fingerbeds are super sensitive. Any time I brush up against something, they sting. Again, the shape of my nails and the polish look great. Just not worth the pain. My friend also has a sore toe as the gal working on her pedicure accidentally slipped. read more

$47 (plus my tip) for this (matte black). In my opinion not worth it. My nails were not fully dry by the time i got to the car I already had a nail messed up. Its a nice place inside but parking sucks. I went in circles for 20mins before finding parking. The ladies were nice nothing against the place but not happy w/ the results. I have actually never left a review before but I have been to so many different nails salons and I can confidently say Kristina was genuinely the best nail girl I've ever had, and just had to write one. I just moved to Palms and needed to find a good nail girl and I am so particular about how I like my hard gel and Russian manicure done, especially given my last experience left me with the nails you see below (all broken and no apex). Kristina somehow was able to fix all my broken nails and make them seem not only healthy but classy. I've just never met a nail girl that was so so meticulous and mindful of every little detail and gentle too, considering some of my nails were broken into the nail bed and she was so gentle with those that it didn't hurt at all. As you can tell in the pics below (lol I had her send me the pics she took cuz I love them sm), my nail beds are so clean and the color is colored right to the edge of my nail. The salon itself is also so relaxing and they have little stands you can put ur phone on to watch while they do your nails, which I found really nice. read more

There are plenty of pedicure places around for an average mani pedi experience, but I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail here. Heads up that this is a Russian style mani pedi place, meaning they use more sophisticated tools when polishing and cleaning your nails. This results in a more hygienic and precise job, and you get a real sense they're trying to go above and beyond for every customer. The free water (coffee and champagne is also on offer) and chocolate were also a great touch! Will be coming back here, they do a great job! Thanks again Sasha and Victoria! read more
