In fact, she nicked my skin / caused me to bleed. I said it's ok, it happens! The next time I went, a different tech cut my nail too short that I bled again! I tried them for the third time last week. The nail tech was super nice and I really like her. !!!Unfortunately!!! 2 of the nails on my left hand have broken and the thumb on that hand is broken right in the middle and is really painful. (I did also leave with a few bumps but that was my fault for not asking them to fix it right away) Hopefully I just got people when they had an off day but, I do not think I will be going back.

Here's the thing, everywhere else I've ever been the technicians have lied to me and used gel on top of the dip or just not known how to do dip well. Every single person who's ever done my nails here has been a true master at the craft. Everyone is also very kind and I've never had trouble with availability or getting an appointment. They have also never, ever hustled me. There are salons nearby that may seem a little more glamorous, but they will nickle and dime you for everything, hustle you, rush you, and do not know their craft. This place does. I've cheated on them once with a local place like that and I hugely regretted it. If you come here, it will be your new spot. I LOVE 18K and I know you will too.

I started getting Gel X to protect them as they grew out then quickly graduated to regular gel manicures with a coat of hard gel on my real nails! I always come to Jenny with new nail ideas and she always delivers! The first pic is of my black & white grad set 6 weeks grown out. Second pic, my nails after the removal of the set.
