The main dish, the ramen with the big beef bone, was ok. The beef was not that tender and the broth was just ok. I would order that again. The TanTan was good. I got an extra egg which was flavorful but definitely not as fresh as it should be. It was very rubbery. Overall, I want to love this place. It did not make it to that level for me this time. Now that that is out of the way...... The food was excellent! We enjoyed the ginger salads. Fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced. All the menu items are reasonably priced. We also shared potstickers that were just ok, and we shared one bowl with steak and shrimp on top of fried rice. The rice was delicious. The portions of steak and shrimp were very generous with vegetables too. We were stuffed. Next time I will skip the potstickers. Didn't need them. The one bowl was more than enough for the two of us. I'm definitely going back. And soon! If it was a sit down restaurant it would have gotten 5 stars for sure.

Megan wanted a dining room meal not fast foo, so we picked Jinya based on my experience at the Athens location. It was a good choice! There are many restaurants in this plaza, so there is plenty of good parking. We were in after 1pm so the lunch crowd was mostly gone. The restaurant has the somewhat standard contemporary asian restaurant look. We were quickly seated at a window table. The menu is small but has what you want for a ramen restaurant. I ordered the original tonkotsu with crispy chicken topping. Megan ordered the chicken ramen. The order arrived quickly at our table along with some additional sauces. My ramen was outstanding. The pork slices were tender and delicious. I don't know how they flavor that egg but it is good! The broth was tasty but aggressively salted. The chicken topping was just the over the top thing I like. Megan liked her chicken ramen quite a bit, so much so she ate it all, not bring anything home. Yes I would come back next time I am hungry in the area. It was $47 plus tip including soft drinks. Seems to be an extensive bar here too if you are looking for that. Hey if you are across 85 at Costco thinking about lunch, come over here! Even if you don't come to Jinya there are better choices here that you might miss if you stay over there!

I've had sushi on 3 continents and this is hands done some of the best you will ever experience. Everything is fresh, prepared on the spot. Vast amounts of attention are put into the presentations making this one of my family's favorite spots. The only thing I could honestly think of that's negative is the front door (lol). Something about where they are located in the plaza creates a vacuum on that door from time to time and you really have to yank on the door to get it open, but I would gladly bring a crowbar for this food.
