If you want some good quick Asian food, this is the spot. They have a great deal on sushi especially on Tuesday and Thursday for to go only. I love their chow fun noodles! The only thing I was not impressed with was their boba drinks.

This place is awesome! And the food is awesome! Being able to customize your boba is the coolest thing I've seen so far!

I ordered Singapore rice noodles, the rest had green curry, basil noodle, and the kid had sesame shrimp. It was a quiet Saturday night,. We went there past the evening rush so we feel blessed to have had great service from the one server we saw helping all the customers. The place was not packed but there were at least four other tables besides us. Their Thai tea is the best in the area. Two in our party ordered it with Boba and the flavors were very well balanced - not bitter and not cloyingly sweet. I stuck with water and regretted that I did not order this myself. The green curry was the best dish of tonight's table, It compared with real good Thai restaurants we have visited in other big cities before. The basil noodle was second best, it was more spicy than we liked but the notes underneath that heat were really good. The menu did say that the basil noodle was spicy so there was our fair warning. The rest of the dishes were good, so we are keeping them in the list of restaurants we will continue to visit. Thank you Green Tea, and Happy Lunar New Year!

Poorly made and overpriced. the coconut soup was sickeningly sweet, it tasted like there was as much sugar in it as would be in a dessert. for a savory dish, it was gag-worthy. The sushi roll was at least edible, but the tempura outside was soggy and it was half the size for the same price. Mind you, I had ordered from them many times through doordash before the change in management, so it isnt a matter of delivery or in-person. I have never had that problem before. New owner kept all the menu items and names but can't be bothered to use the original recipes, instead opting for shoddier, cheaper, and PRICIER versions. There are many other perfectly good asian restaurants around, don't waste your money on this place. Also note that google reviews for this restaurant are disabled. I wonder why?

We went for the dinner AYCE at $29.99 per person, and kids under 3 eat free. Our toddler (3) and baby, free of costs. But our toddler did have his own meal (chicken nuggies and fries...what a plus!) Keep in mind that some items are included in the per-person price, while others come with an additional charge. For example, the fried ice cream dessert was $1 per serving on top of the AYCE cost. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Now, onto the revolving sushi belt experience. The bottom belt is full of pre-made sushi, circulating around, while the top belt carries the sushi you've specifically ordered via iPad. This is where a few concerns come in. Since the pre-made sushi is constantly circulating, you don't always know if someone has fiddled with it. As for the iPad ordering system, it was placed up above the top sushi belt, which was a bit of a nuisance. It would have been easier to use if it was within arm's reach, but again, not a major issue. We opted to order items that would take time to prepare and came directly to our table, so we could avoid the pre-made conveyor. The fried ice cream dessert was great, tasty--but the spoon they gave me was dirty and sticky. It honestly felt like it had been used by a kid before being handed to me. Needless to say, I didn't use it. Service was solid. Our server was helpful, especially since it was our first time, and walked us through the process. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are a few things that could be improved, particularly with cleanliness and the setup of the revolving belts.

The hot bar options were limited and the quantity that is put out is obvious they don't expect many customers. The service was actually a lot better than we were expecting (none). The young man explained to us how we can order being a large group and after delivering our food made sure we had everything we needed. The place is not huge and service was pretty slow even with only two other small groups in attendance. But it wasn't horrible and you can tell they do try to be accommodating. Sushi quality was okay. No one ended up sick or anything. Oysters were actually pretty and crab legs were not skimpy. There is a limit on how many orders of crab clusters you can order per person but with everything else included you won't leave hungry. Honestly won't be going back or consider it because the competition is real and so much better out there. Unless you can eat your worth in oysters maybe go for that. I don't think there's a limit and they're prettier than a typical buffet. I'd say even better than Gohan's.

We finally checked out Arita Ramen & Sushi and here's everything we tried Salmon Flight (recommend ) 6 pieces of salmon nigiri with evenly thick cuts and beautiful marbling. I expected something crispy, but it's actually more like a soft rice cake texture (not chewy). Topped with avocado + spicy tuna, super unique. Beef Shank Ramen Comes with 4 thick cuts of tender marinated beef shank in a rich bone broth. Flavorful and comforting, but I did notice a slightly sweet aftertaste, found it to be weird. BOGO Sushi Deal Rocky Shrimp was our favorite. The eel roll wasn't really for us. Chicken Hibachi Solid and the yum yum sauce was extra thick (which we loved). The quality and flavor is the same as the locations I have visited in Japan. In Japan, Kura is very touristy now and known for being the lower quality of all of the larger conveyor sushi restaurants, in comparison to Sushiro and the growing Hama Sushi. However, we only have Kura in the area, so I have to celebrate even having the option in Buford, GA. The main issue here is not the locations fault, the supply chain has been suffering, so many menu items are missing or sold out. Even when they have special promotions, some of those items that customers drive from miles away are missing. Also, depending on the time of day and who is working, food quality can be hit or miss. Not consistent. That is why I try to visit during hours when I think there would be a manager on duty, like weekends for lunch. What makes Kura special? 1. Vibe - the vibe, sounds, and experience is exactly the same as Japan. Except the prices are about 5x higher because we are in the US. 2. You can get half rolls, to try more and they are currently about $3.70/plate. Compared to a local restaurant that would charge about $14/roll = $7 half plate. 3. Gyudon and Beef udon - taste and flavor are same quality and delicious as Japan. 4. Seasonal promotions - This is something that Japan does well and the US does not, which is exciting promotions based on seasonal cusines with fresh ingredients in season. Not only is it great for marketing, but it is exciting to see what's new. There are some items here that are just not worth the money, like $4 cup of soda, or overpriced shrimp tempura.

If you're in the mood for fresh fish, you might want to steer clear of this place. It felt more like a seafood museum than a sushi restaurant. My husband, who's usually great at impulse shopping, was grabbing plates like a kid in a candy store--only to experience instant buyer's remorse each time! We somehow ended up spending $80, which I can only assume went toward supporting the fish's retirement fund. Then came the ramen experience, or should I say *disappointment*. The meat and egg were colder than my ex's heart, the noodles had the texture of overcooked rubber bands, and the broth looked like it had seen better days. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sushi carousel of regret. There are plenty of other places around that won't leave you questioning your life choices. I definitely should have!

What I found instead felt like a small echo of what the place used to be. The food has shrunk in size while the prices have climbed, which makes the whole experience feel out of balance. I ordered the bao because it used to be the star of the show for me. I still remember the way they were fried on one side before, with that golden crisp that added texture and soul to every bite. This time the bao arrived soft and much smaller than I remembered. The flavor was fine, but the magic was missing. It felt like the memory of a painting that has faded over time. I do want to say that the staff were kind and welcoming. They suggested a hibachi special, which I was not interested in, but they made the attempt to guide my order. Their warmth was the best part of the visit. I left with a sense of nostalgia for what used to be. Maybe the menu has evolved or costs have changed, but the experience simply did not match the picture I carried with me. I hope the place finds its rhythm again, because it once held a special spot in my rotation.
