Solid ayce sushi place! The fish is very rich, and there ayce menu has a large selection of sashsimi, nigiri, rolls, desserts, appetizers, and other food items like hibachi! The service is really great! There are workers who pick up empty plates throughout the experience to de clutter the table so you can order more. The servers are also very friendly and organized, especially when we asked for multiple large individual orders!! There was not a wait time on Friday around 5pm, but if you go Saturday for lunch, expect to wait long, especially for large parties. I once had to wait an hour for 4 people on Saturday afternoon. The place itself has great seating with good lighting, and they had holiday decor too! The music wasn't too loud and everyone could be heard at a large table. read more

I've been to Ohayo Sushi a few times now, and my past experiences have generally been solid. The sushi is decent -- not amazing, but reliably satisfying. The restaurant offers both à la carte options and an all-you-can-eat buffet, which is a good value, especially considering the variety available. The buffet comes with a 1.5 to 2-hour time limit, but that's usually more than enough time to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, my most recent visit -- a Wednesday night -- was a different story, and not in a good way. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty. Despite that, it took forever to get our food after placing orders through the tablet system. At one point, we were waiting 30 minutes between dishes. Orders would trickle out inconsistently -- for example, we got our rice long before the hibachi steak it was supposed to go with, and by the time the steak finally arrived (after what seemed like a lost or forgotten ticket), the rice was cold. It was frustrating to sit there and watch other diners -- who arrived well after us -- come and go while we were still stuck at our table waiting. What should've been a relaxed dinner turned into a nearly three-hour ordeal because our tablet timed out and we were still waiting on multiple items that never seemed to make it out of the kitchen. The one bright spot was our waitress. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and repeatedly went back to the kitchen to check on our food. Honestly, she seemed just as frustrated as we were and really did her best to advocate for us. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen that night, but the experience was aggravating and disappointing -- especially at a $30+ dinner price point. If you do choose to dine here and encounter delays, make sure to speak up and ask your server to follow up with the kitchen -- otherwise, you might find yourself stuck for hours like we were. Bottom line: Ohayo Sushi can be a decent choice, especially for lunch or when it's running smoothly. But based on this experience, I'm hesitant to return anytime soon for dinner. read more

I'll just say it once - all you can eat! Okay, it's scary. Sushi doesn't seem like something that could possibly be good as 'all you can eat', but I shouldn't have worried. I focused on sashimi dinners and sashimi appetizers. That's how I (don't) roll. Get it? Anyway, I was impressed! I had not one complaint about the food. It was very good. Turnaround time could have been better, but I get it. Each item takes time to prepare, as I don't believe everything is sitting in the back ready to serve. Orders can be too diverse for that model to work well. I felt that items I ordered were prepared when ordered and everything was good. I could have stayed for hours! I do apologize. I had several courses and I'm not sure what was what. But trust me, as a person who absolutely loves sashimi, I was impressed. Any place that does sashimi well is doing things right. And dessert! Well, the deliciousness continued through this final course. We'll be back to Texas in May and I want to go here again! Oh, the only reason I didn't give five stars is well... while it's really, really good, it's not extraordinary. read more

Terribly Inconsistent. Food is cooked to varying degrees. Sushi rolls come out with a lot of cucumbers rim one piece and then a lot of avocado in a different piece and everything in between. Serving sizes are also inconsistent. You will frequently have to ask for extra sauce when they don't give you enough. Servers just kind of exist, nothing exceptional. read more

I came about 6:45pm Sunday night, pretty busy. This restaurant doesn't have online reservation, only walk-in and you will sign up for your table. My party was 6 so it's about 45mins wait for us to get checked in. Food is great, my server Cindy was excellent! She's very attentive and food came out pretty quick too. I've been here a few time but today was the shortest waiting time for food. Even the cleaning team was quick too. AYCE $29.95 for adults all day weekend, 90mins duration. Overall great experience today! Just have a lil long wait time, but highly recommended, decent price and food for ayce in Webster! read more

Went with eight people and our server was calm and collected even though we were pretty chaotic with all of our order. The food came out quick and was good, especially the tuna tataki (if I'm spelling correctly). The ambiance definitely feels like an all you can eat place but they have also decorated pretty well which I think gives it a cheery and celebratory vibe. Also I really liked the cherry and lychee mocktail - it was big and tasted great! read more

Really Cheap bulk sushi. I didn't realize this was an all you can eat place. The service was nice. Come here if you want a lot of mediocre sushi for cheap and do the all you can eat. read more

Food was good but we got there a little later and they told us we had 45 mins to order. We told them not a problem we will go a head and order all at once to make sure they could go a head and close the kitchen. We ordered, our waiter was rude, rushed us the whole time, and all the questions we had he couldn't answer. When we asked for a Togo box, he said yes but he would have to charge us for it. And charged us $11 dollars. I asked for more Togo boxes since we paid $11 for 1 small box. Bathrooms were closed for cleaning and so we couldn't use them. Lastly, the drink we ordered was horrible. It was the Apple Cider Sangria. read more

Let me start out my review by applauding the excellent service provided by Amy(in training) and Julie today. Both were pleasant, attentive, and cheerful during our meal. 5 stars for service. Really disappointed to see what this restaurant has become. We've dined here since they opened, typically 1-2 times a month. We were not surprised to see prices increase with inflation. Even with the increase the quality of the food remained. That seems to have gone too. When ordering the AYCE lunch sushi (that has raised several dollars over time) we had stalks of broccoli so large that the tempura batter couldn't cook properly and you would struggle to eat it with chopsticks. Not a clue what happened to our rolls but they weren't constructed properly as they fell apart. It appeared they used too much rice and the seaweed wrapper didn't make contact to seal. Also, I'm not sure if it was the batter or not but our deep fried rolls were so tough it was like fish skin. Sadly, I do not expect to return in the near future. read more

Everything from the ambiance, food, and service was amazing. I have shared my experience with many others. I can't wait to come back.

Love this place! Servers are always friendly and quick with getting the food out. The all you can eat sushi is a steal of a deal. The atmosphere is nice with low lighting and a great vibe. Definitely recommend! read more

Came in with a group of friends! You must have 80% of your party before you can be seated so by the time we were, we were starving!!! We got the all you can eat lunch option which was $18.95 and so worth it!!! We got to try so many different varieties of appetizers and rolls! I love how the appetizers come out in small servings so that you aren't wasteful of food! We did family style so we tried pretty much every roll that we could. There was 8 of us at the table, so doing family style so you don't waste rolls while getting to try everything is super ideal! We have some fantastic servers who were always available and around if we needed more, and the bidders were on it, constantly clearing the empty plates so we could make room for more! Everything and I mean everything was amazingly delicious! read more

This used to be a 4-star for me; however, the kids at the front have no concept of customer service. The pros are that the sushi I go for (all-you-can-eat) tastes good, and what you pay there is a bargain. It's also pretty fast, especially if you order when they bring out your previous order; you won't have to wait. Some of the wait staff is attentive and even have good recommendations, while others you have to flag them down. Until another place comes around like this, and there is one opening up down the freeway, this is my go-to. The Con, - I know about their fire there......leave it at that. Customer service these kids have little to no concept. read more

What a nice surprise!! I had no idea this place is AYCE lunch and dinner plus lunch specials!! WHAT! I grabbed a spot at the very full bar around 1.30p and the place was POPPIN'... I was greeted pretty quickly by the bartender, Joaquin, and he was awesome! Friendly service and friendly bar guests made my lunch for 1 rarely fun!! Price point is hard to beat... AYCE for 20 bucks!! The food was really good and came out pretty quickly despite the totally full restaurant!! Greta job to everyone working so fast and as a team! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars... the Rainbow roll was lacking fish on top... with the exception of 2 pieces of tuna, the top of the roll was mostly avocado... slight miss for me , but the salmon sushi was so good and the Spicy Tuna hand roll was THE BEST IVE HAD!! Check this place out yall!! read more

Had Ohayo Sushi for dinner with friends. The restaurant was pretty empty and had no wait. Although there wasn't a line they still make you check in on their iPad. I honestly came for their salmon, tuna, and yellow tail sashimi. Cuts were pretty thick for an all you can eat restaurant. The fish looked fresh but lack in flavor. All the sashimi tasted the same but with different texture. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. read more

The food is quite good. we have no complain. However, the food ordering system seems disorganized. For many orders, it takes an unreasonably long time (30 minutes maybe) for the dishes to arrive at the table. When we asked the waiter, we were told that our order had not gone through. Additionally, it was a Wednesday night, and only about one-third of the tables were occupied. So the order should be processed quickly. This significantly affected our dining experience and made the dinner less enjoyable. We will not come back to Ohayo. read more

I have been here multiple times and forget to always leave a review almost every time. (If that doesn't already tell you where this review going, I don't know what will). Oh man, this place isn't really consistent. Some days the sushi's would be fresh and smooth and then there are days where the sushi is just straight not ok. The rolls are not really creative and most of them are overstuffed with cream cheese. This last visit I had recently seemed okay until I went home and experienced stomach bug like symptoms. I was constantly in the restroom for two days after eating here. Originally this was going to be a 3 stars review because the place is just average and on some days, it can be really good! But today, I don't think I'll ever go back. I'm giving it a 1 star review because of my stomach. It did not like whatever I ate there and I'm not gonna come back to figure out why. read more

Service was great, but the food is way below par! Wife had the shrimp and vegetable tempura plate with the salad, clear soup, and fried rice. The rice came out cold so she asked if they could bring her another bowl. Another bowl was brought back, but it was not even hot at all. It was just slightly warm. The taste of the rice was not very good. We also had the edamame which also came out Luke warm. We tried the TNT roll and I was surprised when it came out within three minutes from when we ordered it. Which tells me it is not made fresh. Was really totally disappointed with the quality of food t this place. Even with 3.9 stars you would expect much better food quality. Not sure we will be back. PS the water with lemon was good! read more

Great place for all you can eat sushi and it is made to order. Really enjoyed dinner here. Came at 6pm on a Sunday and was seated right away. There looked to be a pretty long wait by the time we left around 7pm so plan accordingly. I think as it got busier, it was harder for the server to keep up. read more

Extensive Vegan review inbound for my fellow vegans and veg-curious! Can you have a nice sushi dinner if you're vegan? Of course! Just takes a little conversation with your server. TLDR: order from the a-la-carte menu. good range of roll options, though they are small and mostly bland. Several appetizers as well. ----- We let our server know we were vegan right away when she came to get our drink order, and she brought us the a-la-carte menu, knowing all-you-can-eat menu wouldn't have much for us (and would be cheaper for veg sushi a la carte). She also let us know she could have fried rice made without egg. There was a vegetable-based sushi section and a few vegan appetizers. We ordered: -Vegetable roll (large, contain cucumber, asparagus, avocado) -Cucumber avocado roll (didn't realize we essentially ordered it already above) -Oshinko roll (pickled Radish) -Tempura sweet potato roll (no eel sauce) We also ordered tofu miso soup and the eggless fried rice. The fried rice came with no vegetables, either, so it was literally rice fried in soy sauce and oil. Fine but not very exciting, would not order again. We liked the last three sushi rolls best. They were small rolls, so we actually wound up ordering another round of our favorites! We're not huge eaters, so don't be afraid to go for more than you usually order here. The fresh ginger shavings were delicious, though the wasabi had clearly been dyed green with food coloring. Mine still had streaks of blue pigment in it! The rolls were fine but simple and a bit bland, good if you have a sushi craving and a step up from grocery store options, but nothing to rave about. I was glad to have had a variety to choose from and the price remained realistic for us, despite having two rounds! It seems they might have a few more vegan appetizer options. We'll have to try those in the future! Pros: Several vegan sushi options, Clearly labeled ingredients, Reasonably priced Cons: Basic rolls without much flavor, Food dye wasabi, ambiance feels a little gross- most do all you can eat so there are bustling bussers and big slimy booths and half-eaten fish everywhere. There is some cute decor on the ceiling, but the setup is very "put the people in their eating trench" read more

Review still stands. Sushi may not be the highest quality, but it's great for the price

I'm always weary about AYCE sushi spots because most of the time you have to sacrifice quality for quantity but that is not the case at ohayo sushi. The sushi quality is very good here. My party of 4 came on a Saturday night around 8:30 and it was PACKED. There were a few parties in front of us but the wait wasn't bad at all. They do not take reservations online or over the phone. It's a first come first serve basis. Last seating on a Saturday is at 9:15. You are limited to 20 pieces of sashimi per order round which is actually quite a lot of sashimi. The specialty rolls were very good. Way too many to list off the top of my head. The hand rolls were fat. Make sure to come on an empty stomach and you will definitely get your money's worth. read more

We used to be regulars here until tonight. We came in at 9:00 when they close at 9:30 for some Sake and soup. Jackie, the lady picture, gave the absolute worst service an industry person could give bringing out cold soup and a Starry with no syrup in it. She was rushing through not attentive and then said that we came in at closing with "a shitty demeanor." How management allows this to happen is beyond me. If I could give less than 1 star I would solely based on Jackie. Congrats on being the ye worst service employee I've had in 42 years of life. For reference, this is my only negative review on Yelp.
