My sisters and I went here for AYCE dinner and this was definitely one of my favorite places to go to for sushi. The inside was well decorated and the lightning added to the ambience. The server was incredibly helpful and considerate! The variety was truly amazing and I only got a couple pics of what we ordered because it looked too good. Some of our favorites had to been the texas roll, nasa roll and the mango roll! All of the desserts were amazing as well, we had the green tea ice cream, tempura cheesecake, tempura oreo, and tempura banana. I definitely recommend having any of the ice creams with any of the tempura desserts (you will not be disappointed)! I am very excited to go back when we are in the area again!!

I wasn't a fan of this place. This is the first time I have ever been to an all you can eat sushi spot. The thought of it in the beginning just didn't settle correctly in my mind, but upon arrival it was pretty packed so I thought okay let's give it a try. Outside the ramen I was pretty disappointed with all my dishes, either presentation, tasteless or didn't taste good at all. Like the seaweed salad which I typically love, took one bite and immediately pushed it away from me. They give you a 2 hour window to eat, but if your server only stops by a handful of time and takes 20 minutes for anything, even water, to come out then you really can't order as much. They also have a cap on how much you can order at one time and what you don't finish you have to pay extra for to take home. If you go here make sure you figure out what you want to try beforehand. Though for me I would pay a little extra and just go to a regular sushi restaurant and go home full and satisfied.

I have frequented the neighboring all you can eat sushi spot ohayo for the past few years, and was super excited to check out sushi Moshi when they finally opened. I finally got around to it this past week and only wish I went sooner! Their lunch price is around $20, very reasonable for all the food you can get! The fish was really fresh and I enjoyed the white tuna. The sushi portions are smaller, but there is also less rice as well so you don't fill up on empty carbs as quickly. I really loved the bear roll that I ordered, which was very protein heavy! my favorite order has to be the salmon tartar though; I ordered at least 10 times! There is ample seating inside during lunch hour on weekdays and service was attentive. The booths were spacious and private. I left feeling incredibly full!

We have NEVER had a bad experience at Sushi Moshi and today was no different!! We love to sit at the bar because Murda takes the best care of us!! We missed Sushi P this visit but we hope to see him soon. Valentine's Day Sushi just hits different. This is our spot for sure!!

AYCE, various raw and cooked rolls, plus tonkotsu ramen

If you've been to Ohayo Sushi on Bay Area, this is their sister restaurant, so the menu and quality is nearly identical. This location has a cozier space theme and a few extra options such as their tonkotsu ramen. I only ever go here for the AYCE, and for the 20$ lunch price, it's a steal. Service has always been great, and they have a good selection of non-sushi options included in the AYCE too. The food itself I'd give a 3.5. Pretty good and generously filled rolls, but not as tasty as the fancier sushi restaurants. The value more than makes up for it though, I can plow through 5 rolls plus soups and appetizers by myself, so that would probably run me almost 100 bucks at a non-AYCE restaurant.

Came here Friday with coworkers. They were pretty short staffed and the staff seemed pretty frustrated and annoyed. Our waiter was stretched pretty thin but light hearted enough to trade wisecracks with us - which is the ONLY reason they got 2 stars instead of 1. This place was legitimately the worst sushi I've ever had crab puffs were off like the oil was too hot so it had that burnt taste but the wrap was not cooked enough so it was like raw and crispy with the burnt oil taste. Fried rice was so dry, the roll I had had more cream cheese than a bagel. We had more left over than we actually ate and we left it all on the table. I'm not sure if we went on a bad day but if this is the quality then I have to say I'm not sure how they have 4 stars to be totally honest. Mind you we gave this place a second try after ordering for delivery.

Such a good vibe here! I wasn't sure what to expect with an AYCE sushi restaurant. The staff were amazing and friendly. I appreciated how you order from the menu and it's made to order. There isn't a long wait to get your food either. Now, I did come on a Friday for dinner and had to wait almost an hour. There is a full bar as well. The options are endless! You can get appetizers, soups, salads, hibachi, sushi, and dessert! I cannot wait to go back!

Smoked Salmon, red snapper, peppered tuna and unagi sashimi.

Great service with attentive staff. This was our second visit and food was fresh and promptly served. We chose the all you can eat dinner which was delicious.

The quality of the fish here was soooo good compared to other all you can eat sushi restaurants in my area. The cut of the salmon sashimi was thicker than I'm used to at sushi restaurants, but it wasn't fishy at all. Plus, I really appreciated that the rolls were small and bite sized instead of being overpacked with rice. The service was really efficient and fast from the waitress being super attentive, to the people coming and dropping off the plates of food, to the people picking up the empty dishes. We went for dinner, so I will say it was pretty pricey ($31 per person), but I thought they had a huge selection. The ambiance was also nice as we got our own little secluded booth, so even though it was really busy that night, it didn't feel overstimulating.

Went for the first time with my best friend- $32 for all you can eat? Yes please! Definitely worth it. Sampled rolls, sashimi, hibachi, etc!! And $3 glasses of wine (heavy pours!)... sushi quality was also really fresh! We will return! LOVED out waitress, didnt get her name!

The food is good, but every time I went there the service is terrible honestly, the servers and the host aren't be good enough.

I stumbled up on this place while I was in the area. I came in on a Saturday and was surprised to find out they have lunch prices $20 AYCE on Saturday. The entrance is inviting with flowers and wall lighting. The dining room is pretty basic but separated into areas. There is a sushi bar in one area which would be cool to sit in and watch the sushi being made. Service was quick and efficient. I was starting to feel a bit rushed after my 3rd order. My server kept asking if I was ready for the check lol. I enjoyed everything but the Tiger Roll and the Ramen were my fave. The menu has pretty of options for AYCE and has entree options for regular dining. I would definitely come again if I'm in the area!

I absolutely loved the food. One of the most authentic meals I've ever had. The service was so friendly, open and understanding. The ambience wasn't too bright, really easy on the eyes, loved every moment here.

We love this place but would it really kill them to bring drinks and wasabi before the food actually comes? *sigh*

So I really wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately it fell short in my collection of…read moreHibachi experiences. Let's start with the positives, the restaurant itself and ambiance was nice, clean, inviting...lots of staff! Loved that they had a happy hour on a weekend day, we ordered sushi, sake, and crab puff rolls off the happy hour menu and they were all good. I feel like we would come back at some point and just do happy hour. Lots of good choices on the menu. Soup was very good, loved the soup. Salad was good, very tasty dressing. Soup and salad came with hibachi. Our waiter seemed very rushed, nervous, somewhat annoyed. This was our first time here, and first time looking at the menu. It seemed odd that he took our menus after we ordered a few things off the happy hour menu, if he would have left the menus we would have probably ordered more off the menu. We still had over an hour before happy hour was over. Drinks were okay, I ordered iced tea partner ordered sake. It was supposed to be cold, but seemed more lukewarm temp. Now for the Hibachi, I'm going to be honest it seemed like the guy was struggling. There was barely any interaction throughout the whole experience, and as you know that's what Hibachi is all about. I ordered the steak and shrimp, partner ordered the scallops. Everything was cooked with tons of oil, the shrimp and scallops were drenched in oil and there were some pieces that weren't cooked all the way through. Veggies were barely thrown on and taken right off, they were hard and lacked flavor. The whole point of grilled veggies is the slight char, and taste of the grill. He did remake the scallops but we didn't ask him to remake the shrimp or veggies for the chicken fried rice because at the point the medium steak was turning into very well done. The rice was okay, again seemed very rushed...veggies were barely cooked before chopped and grilled with rice. The service seemed very sloppy, rice veggies flung outside of grill, beside some of the customers plates...cleaning the grill to where we shielded our clothes a few times...he seemed very confused with the orders/waiters notes and seemed like he just wanted to be done. He spoke maybe 3 times the whole experience. I'd like to think that we just got a newer cook, the food itself may have been better maybe if we had a different cook experience. I've done several Hibachi experiences and this one was very lackluster, the table as a whole seemed very underwhelmed. The manager stopped by to discuss the scallops, gave feedback regarding the tons of oil, etc. He gave a military discount I believe about $6. Overall I think for a $100+ dining experience I definitely expect more in terms of experience and treatment of the food. Not sure if we'd return, the guy dining next to us suggested Shogun his issue was that the portion sizes were too small. We might do a stop in happy hour quick bite at some point, but not for Hibachi I don't think. There are so many other options to try.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Food- I'm genuinely surprised. Went back here after being convinced to give it another shot. Maybe it is just the dishes I ordered this time, but I enjoyed every single order that our table got: Philadelphia Roll: Really plump with fish and avocado. Really nice texture. Steak Fried Rice: Nice flavor, would like a little more meat but ordering a robata or hibachi steak is a good addition Beef Robata: A little sweet for me personally, I think I enjoy the hibachi more personally, but there's a nice crunch to the robata. Gyoza: Pretty basic in general, with minimal vegetable filling and being more on the hard rather than crunchy side. Salmon Mango: Good palate cleanser, nice sweetness in the mango adds to the relatively clean flavor of the salmon. Poke Bowl: Filled to the brim with salmon, tuna, squid salad and seaweed salad. Vinegar rice is a little strong. Sky Diver Roll: A lot happening on this roll, but somehow really comes together for a nice bite. Salmon Nigiri: Covered in soy sauce nikiri style. Not personally how I would like it, but my previous assumption about it covering up the freshness of the fish was wrong. Super clean. Spider Roll: Not too much happening special, but spider roll isn't my jam usually anyway. Tonkotsu Ramen: A little one note, but filled with different ingredients that really make it come together. Fried Bao: So warm and crunchy. Goes perfectly with the condensed milk on the side. Good dessert replacement. Steak Hibachi: Very tender and tasty. No notes. Service- Aokicho has adopted the tablet ordering system that many other AYCE restaurants have, and its improved the flow of the meal a lot more. Waiters and servers both really kind. Ambiance- Not much more to add here. The place is still really nice with really cute table and plate design. Yeah. This place is now a banger. I've never experienced such a drastic improvement of a restaurant and my experience in years. Might just be the day, but it is so much better. Coming back soon, Aokicho! Thank you for such a surprise of a meal.

My first review of 2026 goes to Aokicho, which I had the pleasure of dining at during the first…read moreweekend of the new year. It was recommended to me by an Uber driver recently. And, boy, was she right about it. Anyone who has eaten at Ohayo and Sushi Moshi is likely to enjoy this fairly new culinary gem not too far from League City's South Shore area. I swung by during the Sunday afternoon lull. Getting a table wasn't that difficult. A friendly waiter then introduced himself, handed me a tablet, and explained the ordering process. So far, so good. Selection wise, I'd say that Aokicho tends to have a little more. Plus, there were some items that you wouldn't find at either Ohayo or Sushi Moshi. The way I order at AYCE sushi places is I always go for the starters and appetizers first. Aokicho's tataki selection is in the neighborhood of top notch. Its poke salad isn't only delicious, but an amazing sight to behold. The kitchen staff put lots of effort to assemble it. I then helped myself to some fried rice, gyoza, and hibachi and teriyaki entrees as I would at the other two places. While the items came in small portions, they were enough to make me stuffed. So much as that I was only able to manage just two orders of sushi. With Aokicho, sushi lovers in the Clear Lake/NASA area have another option. It's a bit of a ways from 45 so it could be a quite a drive for most people, but it's worth it once you get here.
