Stopped in on a Monday morning to sit and enjoy coffee and the sunshine. The backyard patio area is a huge plus! There was a bit of a line, but the barista made the drinks quickly and was very kind. I just got an iced latte. Normal price, no complaints about size or taste. Good, casual vibe.

TL:DR- Good working cafe, WiFi was strong, but they close at 4 and reopen at 5. Food: I only had an Americano, which was fine (I was more focused on the ambiance and working conditions, but I'll try food next time) Service: the barista was nice, no complaints Ambiance: cute cozy interior and there's a nice backyard

Potato and egg sandwich

Cute cafe with backyard seating and great breakfast sandwiches. I got an iced latte and a potato and egg sandwich. Both were delightful. I loved sitting inside and outside. Plenty of food options and snacks. Wine and beers for evening which I would love to come back and try! Service was friendly and they brought the sandwich to me at my table. Lovely all around. There is a clean bathroom here too.

sausage egg and cheese sandwich

A maple-y sausage egg and cheese? Right this way to a satisfying breakfast sandwich at Greenpoint's Oh Mercy. The iced coffee (or was it cold brew) fit the morning moment, too.

This is my favorite coffee/breakfast shop in Greenpoint. I love the vibe in here. I like that you have the option to swap out bread for grains to make any of the sandwiches a bowl. The coffee stamp card is also a fun idea. I lived in Greenpoint for the past year and am moving tomorrow, and I'm sad that this place is no longer going to be a part of my neighborhood routine. Definitely check this place out. They have a cute outdoor patio section in the back, too!

I got SEC in between two pieces of focaccia. The bread was really what made the sandwich a delight. Enjoyed the maple syrup which was delicious to eat with the thick piece of focaccia! There's about 6 tables inside (in addition to some tables outside)? That seat two ppl each so seating is limited inside but ppl seem to tend to go in and out pretty quickly after they finish eating so finding a spot shouldn't be too bad! Really enjoyed the gigantic windows -- so much gorgeous natural light that made the place a joy to dine at and read in! A great place for a quick weekend brunch if you're on the go or want to briefly catch up with a friend! I'd come back and try more of their sandwiches! Coffee's not bad too!

Tuna sandwich

Their tuna sandwich is so good (4.6/5), one of the best I've had in the city. It's a cute little cafe. I would come here during the weekends after a game of basketball for a coffee and a sandwich. The bread is fresh, and they can make anything to go.

Tuna Salad Sandwich with focaccia

While wandering aimlessly through Greenpoint, I stumbled upon Littleneck Outpost and was pleasantly delighted. It's a cozy and cute coffee shop offering a healthy array of breakfast and lunch items. I ordered a tuna sandwich for $12. The tuna salad sandwich usually comes with ciabatta bread but I substituted the ciabatta with focaccia bread. The focaccia was warm, crisp, airy and delicious. The tuna was tasty and was complimented well with tasty green olives and fresh greens. Staff was very friendly.

I've always been a fan of Littleneck! I used to go the Gowanus location a fair amount but now I'm a Greenpoint stalker. I don't live in the neighborhood but I really should. I'm in Greenpoint allllll the time! After attending one of my favorite events of the year, Bustcraftacular, I was famished. And I've been so weird about food lately. That's what's absolutely fabulous about Littleneck. They took me out of my food funk and made me incredibly happy. The space was packed. I threw my bag down. The tables are tight. As I squeezed in I accidentally knocked the table next to me which caused some hot chocolates to spill. A debacle that I quickly cleaned up. I ordered the smoked trout toast..I know...no avocado toast!? No. I needed out of the funk. Something about smoked trout makes me happy. This place makes it with creme fraiche, micro greens, shaved watermelon radishes and pickled mustard! I had to top it with a perfectly poached egg. I believe they cook the eggs before hand and then place them on the toast. My meal was chill. It came out as a work of art and it tasted heavenly! Everything complemented each other and had the right amounts of creamy, smoky and salty! I will undoubtedly return for this toast with a hot cup of coffee and a spot by the window sans hot chocolate debacle. This place is the reason Greenpoint is so great. It makes you feel at home.

The food here is great. But I would never stay and eat it's very cramped and not well ventilated. Also some of the cashiers are a bit rude.

This place is an overpriced yuppie heaven. The décor has more flavor than it's little sandwhiches.

Cute Gothic Vibes, but Disappointing Service and Cold Food…read more While visiting Brooklyn with friends from out of state, we decided to stop at Ange Noir Cafe for brunch. I'll start with the positives: the café is undeniably cute. The gothic-inspired decor gives it a trendy, spooky atmosphere, and I can definitely see why people are drawn to it. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the aesthetic. The café was pretty busy, and I understand that they appeared to be working with limited front-of-house staff. However, the service was disorganized and inattentive. Since we weren't familiar with how things worked, we didn't realize our drinks were supposed to be picked up at the counter. They sat there until the barista eventually noticed us and mentioned that they had been ready. My friends had ordered iced beverages, so it wasn't a huge issue for them, but my hot chocolate was barely warm. Then came the food. We waited approximately 35-45 minutes for our brunch. At one point, there appeared to be confusion about whether our food was supposed to be packaged to go or served for dine-in. By the time we received everything, my breakfast platter was cold. Here's the disappointing part: I genuinely believe my breakfast platter could have been a 10/10 had it been served hot. The food itself had potential, but temperature makes a huge difference, especially when ordering a hot breakfast. To be fair, my friends enjoyed their sandwiches, which were meant to be served cold or at room temperature. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about my meal. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the atmosphere is charming and unique. However, good aesthetics can only take a café so far. Service, communication, and food quality matter just as much. Based on this experience, I wouldn't return. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd rather try a neighborhood bagel shop or another café.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
