Because of all the dust, it was difficult to see that my nails were uneven and crooked until later. During the appointment, the male technician repeatedly filed my skin, and when I tried to pull my finger away, he gripped it tighter instead of adjusting. The color I requested was unavailable, and the entire service felt rushed. He handled my nails with dusty fingers, and I can actually see dust trapped in the polish. To make matters worse, lotion was applied at the end, which only rubbed the dust into my skin. Overall, the salon lacked cleanliness and attention to detail, and I left extremely unhappy with the results. My nails look terrible, and I left genuinely concerned about the risk of infection. I wish I had gone elsewhere and will not be returning.

I said no, regular manicure. I received and paid for a gel manicure, which was a higher price. I'm sure I could have argued, but I had dinner plans and hate confrontation. The Gel X Nail removal went pretty well, but I was nicked by the electric file no fewer than a dozen times. It wasn't particularly painful, but certainly wasn't pleasant. I also heard the staff speaking poorly about customers and their accents which was not very welcoming. The manicure itself was fine, though there is a lot of color bleed that I'll be touching up myself.

I found that out at the end. I was a walk in so I didn't mind waiting but I was told "15 min" and it was like an hour. The woman who did my nails seemed to be rushing. She forgot to turn the UV light on and blamed me for not telling her. She filed excessively and never pushed my cuticles back. I asked for short and she didn't even ask what shape she just filed square. The nails turned out pretty good but the experience wasn't great. It was very expensive and I know nails are expensive hence why I only do them for special occasions. The fact that they didn't even tell me about the up charge on the toe polish really upset me seeing I chose the basic pedicure for a reason. I was there for 3 hours. It's been a week and 3 of my nails broke at the cuticles and peeled off. I paid for dip which is supposed to have better hold up. I will not go back and I don't feel comfortable going back in and having them fixed because they already look grown out. Save your money ladies.
