I have never been turned away MID TRANSACTION when I was in the door 15 minutes before close and the reason for the long line is because all the lockers were full and presumably the rep hadn't cleared them out. I'm furious I was turned away while at the counter, mid transaction when my return likely would have taken another 60 seconds. Horrendous customer service.

Yes, it goes by rail until California and from there, it's on a slow boat to Manila. And then from there, it's on another slow boat to one of 7,000 islands. Thankfully, for me, it's just another week to sail to Iloilo (located in the middle of the country - like Kansas City). So back to LBC, their website allows you to track the package, you can also call for additional details like an estimated arrival date, they're really friendly here when you drop off your box. Also, beware, other shippers use a second or third party once your box makes it in country. At LBC, it's their employees from beginning to end. We've never lost a package - wow, did I just jinx myself?? I don't think so. Packing one of these boxes is like a Filipino birthright, a rite of a passage, an obligation to family, etc. FYI, it's called a Balikbayan box. Balikbayan means - one who goes back and forth from the Philippines. But sometimes, I wish family would just stay off of eBay!! Great job LBC!!
