Ogi Deli is on point, man! When I first entered you can smell nothing but good things. If the place smells of good food that is usually a good sign. I didn't know what to expect because it was my first time here. I opted for a vegetarian meal. So, I checked out the menu they had a half sandwich and soup or salad option. I would highly recommend this if you are into soups. So, the half sandwich I got was the Greek vegetarian sandwich with the roasted bell pepper soup. This was a good combo. It was something I would eat at home. Now we cook most of our food at home but from time to time we go out to eat. I will definitely be back for more. The staff is nice and accommodating. The price is fair and the quality of the food is good. As I stated the quality of the food is similar to what I eat at home. So, that is a good sign. There is plenty of parking. Exceptional. Really. I was driving through town, needed a bite to eat. I initially was going to a different place nearby, but the name caught my eye - then I saw Basque Ciders (which I enjoy), so we popped in, curious. Then we saw what people were eating, and asked questions. We were directed to try one of the tri-tip sandwiches (which my friend got), but I snagged the M.A.L.T.T. and added some B.(acon). The BREAD - was amazingly fresh, and the ratios of the various ingredients was a perfect balance. The tri-tip sando was also very well balanced. Most places make them a bit dry and then bathe it in sauce to overcompensate - not this one! It was fantastic. All of the employees were very friendly, asking how everything was, and keeping the place (lunch hour) very clean. The menu is a list of 20 something specialty sandwiches. I had a lamb grinder , and my friends had a philly cheesesteak, and a tri tip sandwich. All were good. The only down side was they were a little small for the price ($8.00 -$9.00). Significantly better experience! Went into ogi today to give them one more shot before we gave up....and I'm glad we did. When I walked in the woman at the counter was smiling and greeted me. I ordered: The apple Bleu: Bomb. The saltiness of the blue cheese paired perfectly with the apple. The bacon and chicken pulled everything together. The first sandwich I got had WAY to much mustard (see before and after pic). They immediately fixed the sandwich and brought it out fast. BTW: They asked me to sit this time while they were making it so I didn't have to wait at the counter for 20 min. I will definitely give ogi more chances after this. I had the Basque Tri-Trip sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten... and believe you me, I have eaten my fair share of sandwiches. Fresh cut meat great bread and the basque cheese made it an absolute home-run. My wife who eats gluten-free has been looking for a quality cookie for some time and she found it here.
