Oga's Cantina is a great place to take a break, enjoy a refreshing beverage, and have a different scenery. We definitely go for the experience. This time around we ordered the Outer Rim and Jabba Juice (non-alcoholic). I wish they had an open bar because I'd add a shot of tequila to that Jabba Juice! All were good and we met some nice people at our table. Service was fast but understandable because people come and go through there like clockwork

The look and service is spot on. Everything is themed and who doesn't love a robot DJ. There's beer, wine, and themed cocktails. The cocktail options all seemed pretty sweet to me and they offer non-alcoholic concoctions for the little ones or non drinkers. My little sister tried two of them but was not a fan. Maybe she's just picky but I've never seen her not finish a sugary drink. The snack/provision menu is very limited so do not come here hungry. They have now transitioned to walk up availability with a standby queue, no reservations necessary. The day that I came there was no wait but I have seen this place with a long line outside. There are some seated booths for groups but majority of the inside is standing room only at high tops or the bar.

I love coming here after a long day of walking around in the park. The best time to come is during the firework shows when everyone is trying to see the show. It's also nice to come here when you need some time to get out of the heat. I usually go straight to a wine or beer as I'm not fond of sweet cocktails. But their margarita is delicious it has like a mango foam on top that is so delicious. I come to the cantina at least every other month so it's very nostalgic coming in here. I like that they will seat big parties in a booth and smaller parties at the bar.

Heh, after my experience with Orlando's Oga's Cantina, I told myself I'd never come here again, but I guess I found myself at the Disneyland version since my friends had never been. If you want to get in without a reservation, it's way better to drink earlier in the day. Also, you'll have to check in when your estimated time is up, even if you don't get a notification. Even then, you wait in line to stand at a table with a bunch of other people and drink expensive drinks. I just ordered a water, which is free. There is a very limited snack menu. All of our cardboard coasters were used and the same one. Our waiter was nowhere to be found after he "standed" us. We were placed in front of DJ R-3X which was pretty cool since we got a cute selfie. I wouldn't say it was worth to come here, still. I don't even want to describe the drinks we got because it's all the same - overly sweet and overpriced. It's hard to see how pretty they are in the dark room. Only go here if you love standing in a crowd with a bunch of loud people, drinking expensive sugar water. This is now not the only place to get alcohol in Disneyland. The souvenir mugs are about $30 each. It's probably more chill if you reserve a seated booth, but otherwise you're standing uncomfortably the whole time. I think the only people rating this place high are the ones who enjoy roleplaying Star Wars.

Loved every aspect of my experience. Appetizers were yummy (wish they had at least 2 more options) drinks were fabulous. Love the whole atmosphere and the bartenders were so attentive Even fully packed with guests! The cups are just fabulous and made very well! I got two.

Whether you're a Star Wars fanatic or not, this cantina inside Galaxy's Edge is worth a visit for the unique experience. It's a popular spot but you can make reservations in advance. Otherwise you can join the stand-by line outside which is what we did. You're limited to 45 min. inside and 2 drinks max so the line moves fairly quickly. Like everywhere else in Star Wars land, the theming is on point. It feels like you're in one of the movies and the robot DJ is pretty cool. We stood by the bar and the service was quick. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks here. I've never had a cocktail inside Disneyland before so I had to get one. The Outer Rim ($20.50) with tequila, pomegranate liquor, lime juice and a fruity foam on top was good. My only complaint is that it was small and not that strong for the price. The snacks we tried were delicious. The Garlic-Cheese Five Blossom Bread ($12) was warm, soft pretzel bread that came with a tasty cheese sauce with a slight kick. The Batuu Brine Dewroots ($12) was basically a refreshing Asian cucumber salad that came with chips. It's not cheap to visit if you're getting cocktails but it's still a place you should experience at least once.

Great spot for a snack and refreshing drink. Staff were awesome here welcoming helpful and speedy service. The atmosphere is a must visit. Totally takes you into the cantina setting. We had a great time here enjoying the vibes and beats. Garlic pretzel knots with cheese was a perfect bite. Warm gooey spicy cheese dip for your pillowy chew of pretzel. You can admire the details while you're enjoying your sips and dips. Seating area in booth was comfortable. Standing bar area only. Walk up to join waitlist by the umbrella staff will inform you with the details. Located on the lower level near smugglers run and blue milk stand. Restrooms located around the corner on south end.

I love this concept bar! You have to make reservations on the Disney app The drinks here are out of this world quite literally This one drink has the ability to make your mouth go numb! So cool! I got the Jedi mind trick and this was so refreshing and well balanced! Ended up getting two. This is the only place you can get drink in Disneyland so expect expensive! Worth a try!

Get the full experience of Star Wars with drinks at the bar. Ambience is full of Star Wars. Not a detail about this place was left out.

Got a reservation on a whim, just randomly checking on the app throughout the day. I was exhausted, so I was excited to sit down for a little bit. Unfortunately, for two people we were assigned to the bar - standing only. There are chairs, so if you are in a group of 4 or more - likely you would get a table and a chair. Jealous! Jet fuel . Bourbon and chili. Yeah, tasted like jet fuel, haha. I probably should have got the ube hazy ipa , but it was too late finding it on the menu - had already ordered. Tako Dana. Wife loved it. We had just eaten lunch, so weren't hungry for any of their food on the menu. Beautiful appearance, definitely felt like a SW bar. Great experience and ordering a cocktail in Disneyland... is a first. Worth the price of admission. If you love SW and/or want an a drink ! lol. Win/win. I didn't ask if they offered bathrooms. I should have, might be pretty

This review is for the "Cheesy Five Blossom Bread with Spicy Cheese Sauce" aka 2 large fluffy garlic pretzels with a spicy cheese dipping sauce. It was a perfect snack shared between my boyfriend and myself. We tried 3 different drinks... The Outer Rim and Jedi Mind Trick were okay... did not enjoy the Fuzzy Tauntaun. We did not have a reservation and waited about 5 minutes to be seated around 1:45pm on a very crowded summer day.

Came for the soft opening on Friday night and I just admit: I do not get the hype. After having a few delicious drinks over at DCA, we made the long trek to Galaxy's Edge to try Oga's after they re-opened for refurbishment. We used the mobile walk up list option and after just about it 5 minutes we were ready to dine! Or so we thought. They bring you to the restaurant just to have you wait in another queue in front of the entrance. What the heck is the point of the walk up list then? I guess it just wouldn't be Disney if they didn't make you wait in line. Alas, we were taken inside and to be fair, it truly does feel you're entering another world. The attention to detail and Immersive elements are incredible, including the droid DJ. But, here's where the excitement ended for me. We were taken to the bar to dine (fine I guess, there didn't seem to be too many other options) but there were no seats! Not even barstools. Servers were friendly and efficient (and in character). We ordered a beer and a cocktail but it looked like all the cocktails were pre-batched. For the price, this was a little disappointing. I got the Fuzzy Tauntaun and I do not recommend this at all. It was essentially juice with an absurd amount of foam on top. I don't think I'll be eager to come back again unless they make some updates to the menu and seating options. But, if you're a Star Wars super fan it's definitely worth a visit.

I have always seen Oga's Cantina bar as a place people frequent at Disney, and I was so excited that I finally got to visit! The wait wasn't bad, considering we had a party of 5. The service was pretty fast and attentive. The drinks were good, but I'm not sure they were worth the price. They did try to make them creative and inventive though. The decor was fully decked out, and it was so neat walking around seeing the ambiance! I do wish they had chairs at the tables to let you sit, but I also understand they're trying to have people stay for a limited time so everyone can experience Oga's. I would be back to visit next time at Disney :)

Oga's Cantina Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Oga's Cantina

What's the rancor bone (served on top of the Bloody Mary) made of? Can you take it home?

It's hardened meringue--formed but brittle. I don't think it would travel well.

Has anyone ever tried the Moogan Tea or the Black Spire Brew? If so, what were they like?

The Moogan Tea tastes similar to a chai tea latte.

Hi I am trying to make reservations can I email or call someone? Please help. 😭

This place is booked months in advance - we tried for 2 months and all reservations are made on line but we were there last week and make a walk in reservation and got in 30 minutes later! It was however a weekday - not sure about weekends.

Can you access this restaurant other than going through Disneyland?

    No it's in the Park

Can you order wine during their breakfast hour or it it limited to the concoction menu only?

Only the menu is available, no other drinks can be ordered. It's not a full service bar.

Do you need to make a reservation?

Yes, at least a day in advance. It's not impossible but unlikely that you will get in without one.

How do I make a reservation? When I purchased my tickets to Disneyland?

Disneyland.com under Things To Do, Dining then Make Reservation. Go down and pick your restaurant and day/time.

Can you get other alcoholic beverages like a jack and coke?

No, only the drinks listed on the Cantina menu.

    Is there food?

Yes there is food but very limited. There are only three items. 1. Oga’s obsession- which is like a jello…

Are the Rancor flights back in stock?

No. But I want to sell mine. As cool as it is, no room

Do you have to spend money? Can you go in and check it out without purchasing drinks?

Reserve online to make sure you get a spot. If you don't show up to your reservation youll be charged 10 $ per person. But you can go in and not purchase a thing if you just want to look.

    Are kids allowed?

Yes, make sure you include them in your reservation.

Ok guys, what is the least sweet drink on the menu? And what is the strongest (most spirit forward) drink on the menu? All these "sweet" comments are starting to scare me.

The Jet Fuel seemed to be the most potent and "less sweet" drink. All of the cocktails are pre mixed and cannot be altered. The Spiced Cider and beer offerings are probably the least sweet offerings.

Sweetest alcoholic drink? If ranked that would be great :)

We tried the Outer Rim and the Fizzy Tauntaun and I'd say they were both sweet but I'd say the Outer Rim was sweeter. Stick with Taquila and Rum if you like sweet drinks!

What's the return policy on the Porg souvenir mug (unused and still in the box)? When I ordered the Cliff Dweller drink, I thought it would look like the picture on the menu where the Porg has a white chest, but it's actually brown.

If you got your mug directly from the Cantina, it should look like the mug used in the Cantina. That means you would have been able to see what it looks like before purchasing. I don't think there will be any refund. If you bought it from someone…

Is this accessible from Downtown Disney?

No, it is only accessible through the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in the Disneyland Park.

There didn't seem to be a dress code but people were mostly dressed nice. The service was phenomenal. We were greeted by the owner himself and he made sure that we were seated and comfortable and helped us understand the menu and their wine selection. Our server was amazing as well. She was very attentive in taking our order. For food I ordered the crab cakes, the shishito peppers, and the Atlantic salmon with the chimichurri sauce on the side. I substituted the mashed potatoes for French fries because I don't eat dairy. Everything was delicious and a little different. For the shishito peppers usually these are served with a tangy sauce and the shishito peppers are blistered. With this dish the shishito peppers were still blistered but they were served on a sweet mustard sauce. For the salmon that was also delicious, served with vegetables. The French fries were great. The crab cakes were pretty good. Now if you're from Maryland you are not going to like these crab cakes, of course, because you're from crab cake capital, but for California crab cakes they were good. I would definitely come back here. I didn't get to try the wine but next time I will definitely try some of the wine and some additional food dishes.

Ever since then, it's become a regular spot for us. The owners Sonya and Mike are truly what make Colony special -- but so does their incredible staff. I can't say enough good things about Shalene, Molly, Camille... anyone we come in contact with is always so sweet and attentive. The wine selection speaks for itself. Sonya does a great job at bringing a rotating selection that we always enjoy. There is always a featured flight that, a great selection of white, red, and bubbles, and they even have some craft beers available as well. There is also a great selection of wine to purchase to take home with you after. But the food. Oh my, you don't just go to Colony for the wine because their food is absolutely FANTASTIC. You can't go wrong with their charcuterie, and let me tell you they have the BEST french fries in Orange County. The daily specials have never disappointed and on Tuesday nights you can't get one of the best grilled cheese around. We love visiting on Thursday nights because the owner Mike does live music on Thursdays where he sings and plays the guitar. This last year, my husband got us their wine membership which we have really enjoyed. Every other month you get a curated four wine selection and you get to come during a window to pick up your wine and you get two free flights to enjoy when you pick up. To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine. We were on a time crunch and wish we would have stayed to enjoy an actual entree but look forward to being back in town and visiting Colony Wine Merchant again.
