We've eaten at Palm Breeze Bar during most of our recent Disney trips and though the Heirloom Beet Salad is generally pleasing, it falters in consistency. Sometimes the Stracciatella cheese carries the dish and marvelously melds the disparate ingredients, but other times the fixings feel like a hodgepodge without adequate flavor. Unfortunately, this meal leaned toward the latter. There was a dearth of cheese so the overly-sweet beets, uncoated cucumber and out-of-place citrus didn't harmonize. There isn't much dressing to speak of, so it feels somewhat thrown together. The ideal version of this salad is worth repeat visits, but don't bank on a home run. Nonetheless, the casual poolside atmosphere, easy access to a table and overall convenience maintain it as a perfectly strong option.
While staying at the Disneyland Hotel, we stopped by the pool to cool off. While at the pool we decided to get a drink. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a very friendly bar tender, he suggested some drinks and recommended some appetizers. I had an old fashioned to start and ended up ordering a second frozen mango drink that reminded me of a mangonada, very refreshing and delicious. For an appetizer we ordered the chicken al pastor nachos, they were a good portion and good flavor, not that much meat though. The seating is bar stools around the bar, or take your drink back to the pool.
First visit here. This is an outdoor restaurant outside Disneyland Hotel. It wasnt a hot evening so weather was perfect. I liked the ambiance of old school 50s vibe. And since there was a cool breeze, we had hot lamps that were turned on as the sun went down so it can warm us up. The menu was perfect for my boys since they like the basics. We tried chicken strips, pizza, and my fave, lobster roll. Staff was very nice. No complaints on food or cleanliness. It was an enjoyable dinner.
A solid 3.5 stars IMHO. If I didn't stay at the Disney villas I'm not sure I'd want to come back here. The menu is good and they offer enough variety of apps, entrees and drinks for a poolside bar option. Loved the salad but there was too much dressing (get on the side next time) and the chicken tenders were the same quality as the ones you get in the park. Not bad, just nothing special (except the ranch which was great). Also the food took a long time to come out and my chicken was lukewarm. So just be mindful as the kitchen is separate and if it's cool/windy your food will cook down before getting to your palm breezy table lol. Also it took a long time to check out and pay. Servers were nice but there's more bar help then there are staff who can access the registers to close out.
My friends and I stumbled upon the Palm Breeze Bar and sat alongside their bar. I tried their Fifty-Five-Fifty cocktail, which was a nice coconut-forward cocktail. The combination of coconut rum and coconut puree gave the drink a rich, tropical flavor without it feeling overly heavy. It was refreshing for a very hot day, and the alcoholic portion of the drink was also light and smooth. There was friendly service, and I also enjoyed sips of their Chilly Mango that my friends ordered.
A completely outdoor restaurant. It's nicely shaded and you are surrounded by 2 different pools. I sat at the bar and had great service. I had an appetizer and an entree but what I notice at Disney hotel restaurants is that main entrees will not fill you up on their own. They are smaller portions. My alcoholic drinks were the types that you can't detect alcohol. They were so tasty!
I feel like this is a super underrated and forgotten Disney bar (I've seen several Disneyland YouTube videos that even forget to mention this place at all). But I highly recommend stopping by here for the vibes, drinks, and foods. They have a very cool mid century modern feel and it's also very relaxing to be by the Disneyland pool. You can get a table or sit at the bar, and every time I've been there it's easy to walk in without a reservation (though you can make one as well). All of the drinks I've tried were delicious, both dessert cocktails and stronger ones. Surprisingly they have an extensive food menu as well which I really need to try next time.
This bar is situated between two pools in Disneyland hotel. We were trying to go to broken spell lounge, but that was completely filled up. The hostess directed us over here. We got here and they told us the waiting time was about 20 minutes. I think we waited only 15 minutes by the pool. It was kind of fun and chill sitting here and watching everybody play by the pool. It's a chill environment compared to the Disneyland parks. So the problem of this bar is it creates a tunnel for the wind. I think during winter time this place might be too cold, but since it's summer, it's actually very breezy thus called Palm breeze bar. So beware if you come during cooler times it might be too cold. The other thing to be aware of is the waiting time for the food. We guess the kitchen might be far on the other side of the hotel because they always bring a wheeled cart with the food. And by the time the food gets to us, it's lukewarm. We ordered: Kale salad with quinoa and few blueberries. Our chicken was missing. Told waitress. Came later. This was good. Grill Chicken breast came later. I thought it looked dry, but surprisingly it wasn't. The tuna tartar didn't look like the picture, but I think there might be too confusing tuna entrées, or appetizers that are mixed up. For the price I just felt like it was really small portion. The palm burger was really good. It was thick. I ate it before we could take a picture of this is how good it was. It came with a side of fries and ketchup. For dessert who ordered the benet. But in the picture on the menu, they had 3 Mickey shaped dipping sauces. And if you could see from my picture, our dish was missing the Mickey shape. I was so sad But our waitress was gracefully enough to take it off our order. Thank you so much. Sidenote, even though I didn't order any alcohol, I didn't notice they had Halloween theme drinks. They look very tempting, but I didn't want to add more calories I think this is a great place to relax and chill watching the games or coming over after swimming in the pool, but if you're hungry, and want really hot food very fast this place isn't it. This is more chilling with your friends and chatting with your family and enjoying the relaxing poolside experience. Do I recommend this place and would I come again? Yes if we're not too hungry and we are looking for a place to chill. Forgot to mention parking is $35 for Disneyland Park. I think it's more expensive for Disneyland hotel. Maybe I'm not really sure.
Fantastic! I'm not lying when I say I had the best chicken Caesar salad of my life! I was on a solo trip, so I made reservations for lunch once I landed. The vibe and ambiance is awesome! I sat at the bar and had wonderful servers on the afternoon of 2/8. The superbowl was on later in the day, so I know they were prepping for that. The food! Again, best chicken Caesar salad ever. It was huge and I ate the entire thing. The wine is nice and cold and only 10.00 for a glass of cold Chardonnay. A couple days later I came back to relax before my flight. I ordered the beignets which were amazing and a glass of wine for the road. I placed a to-go order for the Caesar with dressing on the side to take home to Vegas and I ordered my husband the flat iron steak. They wrapped it very nice for the plane and we both enjoyed it when I arrived home. I can not wait to come back in August.
We truly love Palm Breeze, and it has become a favorite spot for us to grab a drink and/or meal. While the food offerings aren't as rich as Craftsman Bar, the prices are more reasonable. The service here has been consistently excellent, and their bartenders are some of the best on property as several rotate between here and Trader Sam's/Tangaroa Terrace. The mid century modern aesthetic is also wonderful.
impromptu day date at the Disneyland Hotel. Put our name on the waitlist at Trader Sam's and decided to check this place out while we waited. Thank goodness for the signs otherwise it would have been very difficult to find it. It is tucked away at a pool I never knew about (maybe it's new?). The decor is fabulous retro Palm springs vibe. LOVE! we were seated quickly without a reservation. the server was so busy yet she made time to be more than friendly. We each ordered one drink and an appetizer to share App: Fallafel and fattoush...it was delicious! my only gripe is clearly says crispy pita as first part of description..there was no pita...the "pita" is tiny pieces as a "crouton" ...so we had dips without the pita to dip in it...although the flavors were amazing this is a major issue.... would have been nice to have SOMETHING...if not pita then sliced cucumbers or something. drinks tulum time & dessert sour...both spectacular! we were done and headed to Broken Spell for stop #2...
This is a nice option if you are staying on property. I always appreciate how Disney offers options for people with dietary restrictions. I am gluten-free and it was nice to be able to grab a sandwich. We sat at the bar, service was super friendly, and quick. The sandwich was good and served with fruit. Prices are "Disney" prices, so don't be surprised. On hotter days when the pool is busier, so is the restaurant, but we came early in the day, so no wait at all.
Quick update on, possibly, the worst restaurant in SoCal...the food quality is absolutely horrible. I think I found the pizza today in the sales bin at Target for $0.99 versus $24.00 at Disneys Palm Breeze. The ambiance is better than the food but loosely resembles a makeshift dodgy cafeteria that could be folded up in a moment's notice upon news of a health inspection. The service is the redeeming factor but like many things in Disneyland...over priced, poor quality, and brutally entitled staff. In spite of this the place seems to thrive...incredible how low requirements can shape a culture and ruin what Disneyland built on.

First Impression: It feels like i walked out of Disney and into palm springs. Location: Located next to the disneyland hotel and villa pool. Experience: They offer seated dining and bar top. We were looking for a place to get a drink and hide from the heat. Like most of disney hotel bars - they have a walk up line. It does move quite quickly so don't be scared to get into the queue. We got a pina colada and hazy on tap. Note: If you get food and have a magic key make sure to have them scan it for the discount. read more

Whew, Palm Breeze Bar is not just their name, they really live up to it! This restaurant is essentially located in a wind tunnel so even on a relatively mild night, it was sooo cold we were shivering sitting at our table. Don't be silly like us and bring a jacket!! The food was honestly okay. Probably some of the worst beignets I've ever had on Disney property. I don't know that you could even call these beignets, they were basically little cakes with whipped cream and dipping sauce. We also shared a few appetizers and drinks. I would say, come here for a quick drink before hitting Disney or downtown Disney but it's not the top place I would recommend for solid cuisine. read more

First visit here. This is an outdoor restaurant outside Disneyland Hotel. It wasnt a hot evening so weather was perfect. I liked the ambiance of old school 50s vibe. The Palm Breeze Bar can be a little tricky to find but once you do it's a nice surprise. It's the Villa's pool bar located next to the Discovery Tower and has plenty of bar and table seating. There are TVs to watch your favorite games and the menu is pretty extensive. I have only ordered drinks the couple of times I've gone and they have all been delicious. The service is prompt and Jeremy our bartender makes great cocktails. He made a substitution for me on one drink which I appreciated and enjoyed very much! Hence the name the bar is always breezy almost feels like you are in a wind tunnel at times, so if you opt to visit in cooler temps come dressed accordingly. They do have heaters and you can ask for blankets, which I thought was a nice touch. Live music was playing when I stopped by which I really enjoyed. The duos were playing acoustic pop and r&b jams which created an awesome mood and ambiance. I recommend stopping by Palm Breeze for a snack, drink or both if in the area. The food was good, this eatery was not what I was expecting It was in the middle of two swimming pools. I would preferred more privacy. Maybe, there was limited staff, because it took forever for our server to take our order. I had the crab roll , it was very fresh and tasty. We had a mix up with s drink. So, for me, I probably would mot come unless , someone just insisted on going. read more
The Palm Breeze Bar is located within the Disney Hotel compound. It was a great reprieve from the busy park for a quiet and calm dinner. We got sat near a heater and our hostess was kind enough to bring extra blankets as well to help is stay more cozy on the cold night we came by to enjoy a nice meal to celebrate my birthday. Our server Sara was awesome and we took her up on her recommendation and ordered the charcuterie pizza (which was delicious), espresso martinis (excellent) and home cooked chips. As an added bonus our hostess was kind and offered up some buttons for us to customize to help us up level our celebration Highly recommend booking a table here if you want an alternative place to get a casual and calm meal for a change from the parks. read more
Great service with welcoming cast members. Space is very spacious and everyone is so attentive to your needs. Our bartender was so fun to talk with and made our time at the bar enjoyable. I had the blue bee's knees drink which was a very refreshing drink with a subtle hint of sweetness from the blueberry wine. Highly recommend getting the avocado & like hummus as the pita was SO good. Everything about this dish was incredible, the hummus mixed with avocado and a little hint of heat mixed with lime, paired with delicious warm pita and fresh sliced vegetables. If you're in the mood for pizza, get the charcuterie pizza. Pretty decent size to share and the flavor palate has a nice balance of salty and savory from the meats and sun dried tomatoes. read more
Enjoyed some cocktails and a shareable on a Saturday evening recently. Short wait and plenty of seating. Staff, were friendly and made great recommendations. Special shout out to Kenia! The shareables are truly shareable, large portions, could easily serve 3 or more people. Drinks are a little pricey, but on par for Disney. Keep in mind seating is outdoors and it can be a bit "breezy" and cold. They have outdoor heaters and offer blankets to help. Although we didn't try much of the menu, we would eat and drink here again. read more

I made reservations for lunch and arrived about 20 mins early and they were able to sit me right away. All of the seating is located in-between two pool areas, so I could see how others thought it was really cold (especially in winter) but we were enjoying the breeze in 90 degree weather! There was a live band playing Disney songs and it overall it was very nice to be under shade watching the kids splash around or slide down the water slide. We got three food items and shared them: Spicy Crisp Chicken Sandwich ($23) - Zesty slaw, spicy aioli, bread and butter pickles with fries. I only had a bite, but this tasted pretty good! I didn't think it was spicy, and the chicken was fried nicely (juicy and tender). The fries had a bit of a crunch to them which made them taste really good. Lots of salt on the fries but I hit it a couple of times to make it less salty. Heirloom Beet Salad ($19) - Roasted and marinated beets, baby kale, cucumber, mozzarella, candied walnuts tossed in a herb vinaigrette. This was really good. The beets were of the red and yellow variety and were chunked into the salad. It also had thinly sliced radish shavings on top which added nice texture. I don't know about the mozzarella cheese - I think it gave me a stomach ache, but it tasted pretty good with the dish. The portion size was bigger than I thought making this dish worth it. Charcuterie Pizza ($24) - Cured prosciutto, pepperoni, sausage, sun dried tomatoes. This was really salty! The crust held all of the meat pretty well but it was a little too salty for me and my mom. The pizza was cooked perfectly though and there was a lot of cheese. I booked this online after seeing their menu, and not all of the menu items online was on the actual menu when we got there. For instance, online it says that they had a Salmon Filet Heirloom Beet Salad that I wanted to get but that wasn't offered on their menu. read more

Service was amazing. The atmosphere is unique but is very close to the pool. We were able to walk up and order drinks while waiting for our table to be ready. The menu was expensive for pool food, but the food was very good. read more

3/5 Food 5/5 Service and Music! Overall: 4/5 stars First off, the servers were so kind. We had some really cool servers that bantered with us. Second, the music was AWESOME! The DJ was playing some bangers so we had fun just vibing to the music. Really enjoyed the aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant. The food was alright! Nothing to write home about. I got the Fifty Five Fifty which was a really easy and sweet drink to drink. Very tropical! I also had the Garden Pizza and added pepperoni. It was fine! A bit salty but that's my own fault cuz I added pepperoni. Keep in mind that this pizza is vegan (unless you add pepperoni like me haha) The pizza was HUGE and I only ended up eating half. Took the other half home! I tried my husband's fried chicken sandwich and it was better than my entree! I'd say to definitely order that if you're here. read more
Drinks and food were great here! This place is a solid alternative to Trader Sams. Sometimes that wait can be too long at Trader Sams and you just want a drink. I think this is the best place to go. The vibe is relaxing. We went on a summer day and that bar has a cool breeze running through it which was welcomed. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We got a beer and a mocktail. They were both great. The Cheese Fry Poutine was delicious and would gladly get it again. If you are looking for a new place to have drinks, there is no reason to not come here. There's good vibes and no line! read more

Went here to grab some lunch and a few drinks for my birthday before heading into Disneyland, and it's such a hidden gem. Located at the Disneyland hotel near the pools, but still open to the public. The ambiance has a palm springs feel, and seating was very open. Things we ordered: Cocktail Chicken Wings: This was so juicy and mouthwatering. The chicken was glazed with bourbon barbecue, and chili aioli. I could have probably eaten the whole plate myself! I would definitely order again. Charcuterie Pizza: this had cured prosciutto, pepperoni, sausage, and sun dried tomatoes. This was an interesting taste - I love charcuterie boards, but not sure if I would order this again. The bread was soft and doughy, which was probably the best part of it. Beignets: This had such a cute presentation! Not to mention they give you a lot of beignets! They had 3 different sauces in the shape of Mickeys. It comes with chocolate, passionfruit, and mixed berry - my kids loved it! Basil Grapefruit Sour: It had mexcal, grapefruit juice, egg white, lemon juice, thai basil. It was yummy but really strong! First things first, this location can be a little difficult to find and is all the way in the back of the Disneyland Resort (Disneyland Hotel). You will walk towards the icon Disneyland slide into the pool, where you will see the new Disneyland Villas. Walk into the entrance, and it will be the 2nd door on the right where you will see the sliding door to enter the pool area/Palm Breeze Bar. It is a pool side bar, so bring a jacket in the cooler months as there is definitely a "Palm Breeze" as you dine. The heaters are nice, but the gusts of wind still make it pretty chilly. I look forward to seeing how the weather will change the ambiance in the summer months. Beverages are always the start to your dining experience, and vital to the success of any bar. My mom first had ordered the Basil Grapefruit Sour and had to send it back for a different drink, because she simply didn't like it. Once we sipped the Strawberry Thyme Fizz, she was much happier. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chilly Mango and can see this being an absolute delight in the summer! Truthfully, this drink alone would have me return to this location as the staff was incredibly friendly & this could be a great cocktail location destination. For starters, my mom ordered Cheese Fry Poutine for the table. For $19, these are massive!!! She said these could easily feed four people and have plenty to go around! In the future, we would not order again if getting entrees as it was just too much food all around! Both my parents did enjoy their Palm Breeze Burger ($26) and Coctol de Mariscos ($29). The pizza I ordered left a lot to be desired, and why I ranked a star lower. I've included a couple photos showing it was floppy, and appeared to be underdone/doughy. I'm not sure if due to there being multiple cheeses it left it too wet to bake properly, but it definitely was something I wouldn't order again at the price point of $21. Though this was a disappointment, the service and cocktails saved the experience. I would consider returning if staying on property as it is a bit out of the way if not. read more

Arrived for lunch on Friday at 12:30. Tables are small unless you go to the bar or to the center seated area. Portion sizes are substantial and aligned to the price charged. It does get a bit windy as the seating area is between 2 pool areas and it acts like a natural wind tunnel. Servers are nice and informative with their favorite dishes and how big the portions are (shareable or not). Def recommend if you are looking for a spot to chill and eat away from some of the Disneyland/DCA crowds and don't mind the occasional watery kid running thru the area. read more
Honestly... not too bad of a spot to chill, grab some drinks, and have a lil snack before/after the Land of Disney. They got a friendly service going on and like to make sure everything is accommodating. This is located inside The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel and there's no need for reservations! read more

Ambiance Very cool outdoor bar. Service Top notch it is a Disney Hotel bar. Our hostess Gabrielle was very sweet. Our server Vanessa made us feel at home. Cocktails Oaxacan Old Fashion Not a fan of mezcal, but with orange bitters it was amazing. Grapefruit Basil Sour Looks like a piece of art. Very good read more

After a long day at the park, I was craving some apps and a frozen treat. We tried the cheese fry poutine and avocado lime hummus, both were savory and flavorful. My only note would be on the pita chips, they are a bit too thick. The mock-tails were perfection! I had the mango chili and it was so delicious. The service is great! It was cold out, so the server brought over the heater and even offered us a blanket. She was very attentive and kind. read more
A bar inspired by the home away from home of Walt Disney, Palm Springs. With drinks inspired by the citrus groves that were in place before Disneyland. This bar is located by the DVC tower at the Disneyland Hotel by their pool but you don't have to be a DVC member to enjoy this spot! Park visitor, passholder, hotel guest alike this is a must try. The cocktails fantastic. There is a drink for everyone and the waiters are more than happy to help you find the right drink. The Breezy margarita was delicious and the Strawberry thyme spritz was recommended. Every drink ordered by our group was enjoyed. The special of the night which no one tried was hot buttered rum which now I wish one of us tried because the cold weather was perfect for it. The food, I am still thinking about the garden pizza. We got it to share but I could have easily eaten it myself. I will definitely be attempting to make it at home. The Ramasco sauce was show stopping and the airy crunchy pizza crust was perfect to accompany it with the arugula. We also ordered the poutine fries and lime avocado hummus which were delicious. The fried cheese curds were amazing on the fries and we got a side of ranch. The veggies with the hummus were delicious and included some of my favorites including jicama, carrot, bell pepper and celery. Our server was fantastic. She explain the concept of the restaurant, and was eager to help us pick out our drinks, according to our preferences. She was super helpful m, friendly and very attentive. Definitely up to Disney standards. Whether you are staying at the Disneyland hotel, or visiting the parks as a passholder or just looking for a spot for drinks and snacks, this bar is a definite must try. Just opened up and it is soooo cool! Very California vibes super clean and everyone is so nice!! No reservation needed. We walked in and sat by the bar everyone was amazing! Jessica in particular was fantastic and made our family's trip so wonderful! Food- 10/10 we tried the crab roll, beignets, chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was probably the fams favorite. Pool- very clean and spacious the lay out is great! Restrooms- super clean and plenty Overall my family and I had a great experience :) read more
