Even their Korean "ade" drinks are refreshing. My favourite dishes were the kimchi mandu dumplings, the fried chicken, tteokbokki, green onion pancake (basically the 4 appetizers I tried), as well as the beef BBQ for 1 as the main. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I use to love this place…read more But this is the second time I've gotten Terrible service.. i did an Uber order which was suppose to arrive at my house 7:35PM. It got delayed to 7:45,8pm and 8:04. At 7:39 I called the resto and the person who answered said my food was sitting there for 5 mins. How is it ready for 5 mins when it was suppose to be delivered at 7:35/7:45?!?! The uber driver changed 3 times because you guys were still preparing my food. As you guys called me to see if I still wanted the order or not. One hostess on the phone said There was a misunderstanding with the food and laughed a little. We're in a time where every restaurant needs customers. You should let the customer have a bad taste in their mouth. You should be doing something to compensate for the mistake. This is the second time. I would rather drive DT and get my food than order from you again. On top of everything my food was so filled to the top the sauce spilled in the bag and when I too lit out it spilled all over my table.

The chicken is amazing! Spicy and juicy and so crunchy! The chicken came with a little coleslaw, kimchi and pickled daikon. The kimchi fried rice was so good! I got it for my husband and ended up eating half of it. Everything here is a little spicy, a little fish saucey (in a good way) and really flavorful! So happy to have a place like this on the south shore. And this week I learned it is just as good to take out as it is to eat in!

Came here after a competition and it was ideal for a group of 30. Highly recommend!

This is reflective to their pricing. Inside there was plenty of room and empty tables. The smell of smoke and grilled meats is the first thing to hit you. The menu is electronic on your phone and so is the ordering. Everything you order is in small quantities, all fresh an savoury. We touch almost everything, from cooked dishes and soups to raw marinated ingredients which you cook on a grill in front of you. Allow some time for the meal. Service is quick and polite. Many of the marinated meats were delicious. The limited ventilation might make your eyes water while cooking. It was a pleasant experience with many flavourful discoveries. A spot for a group dinner. We tried them and pleased with the experience but maybe not too often.

The Short Version: This review is exclusively for their…read moremochi which I got as takeout, lol. It was pretty good. Note it's Chinese-style mochi and not Japanese-style mochi. The Long Version: I love mochi. Like it's one of my favourite desserts. So when I saw that Fondue Haidilao had an UberEats deal for BOGO (buy one get one free) mochi, I had to check it out. Especially since our hotel was just around the corner. My husband does not enjoy hotpot and I'm uncertain how I feel about takeout hotpot anyway, so I just got the mochi, lol. It was $3.95 for 2 orders (since it was BOGO). Each order contains 3 pieces, so I got 6 pieces. They are small but still very reasonable for the price, especially BOGO. I ordered on the app and picked up. Pick-up was quick and smooth. Staff were courteous. The mochi were soft and chewy. They had finely grated coconut on the outside and custard on the inside. The custard was unfortunately not creamy but rather it had a more starchy consistency, a bit different from what I was expecting, but it was still ok. Note that since Haidilao is a Chinese chain, the mochi is Chinese-style not Japanese-style. I would love to try the hotpot at Haidilao one day. Maybe when my mom and I return for another mother-daughter trip to Montreal since the hubster does not like hotpot. Street parking only. Review #69 (2025)

Their menu is so diverse, the portions big, everything is flavourful and filling, they pay attention to all the details. From the moment you step in to the end of your meal, it's an experience. They give you an apron so you don't stain your clothes, they provide plenty of napkins and utensils, they pass by multiple times to clear your table and dirty dishes, they give you a hair tie so your hair doesn't get in your food. It's a fun time! There's music, or a noodle pull guy, or sometimes a dancer! They've really got it all. Make sure to réservé because this place is in high demand and it is impossible to get a table last minute if you are a big group. I got the sukiyaki soup base which is soy and onions. It was really good! Bot spicy at all and paired well with the lamb, beef, and pork we ordered. Also got some corn and it was so juicy and sweet! You can still order noodles and not pay the extra for the employee to pull them in front of you, they are still fresh and taste delicious. I don't find it too expensive considering I ate almost as if it was an all you can eat and the price was the same but you're getting better service and quality of food.

We came in without a reservation and they made us feel welcome! We got checked in and vetted with all the covid rules (vax pass and sanitizer first) and got seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and very sweet. She showed us how to order online with our phones. Very interesting system ! I loved how the food is brought to us by a baby elevator .. I guess the kitchen is in a different level! Food: They brought out some starters that tasted delicious I was so impressed with the cucumber starter dish so yummy with a kick to it. We got kimchi , marinated onions and then the Chop suey was delish too ! Every dish had awesome flavours. We went ahead and ordered different meats and shrimp. My all time favourite was the ox tongue soo good The grill was getting dirty as we were cooking so much on it she changed it for us that was nice as well. There's a lot of variety to choose from and it is all you can eat so you may order as much as you want but if you leave anything on the plate they charge you 1$ extra so be careful when you order too much hihi. Overall service ambiance and food was AMAZING and worth every penny! Definitely recommend this place if you've never tried an ayce Korean bbq resto! Cheers!

There is ample parking as they have there own parking lot and there is also a bus stop a few meters down the street. The restaurant is a small quite place and has about 15 tables insides. The menu is down all online as well as the ordering process. The staff was friendly and was able to explain everything properly. We stated off with some vegetable that we grilled. The vegetables were raw and unseasoned. We had the following vegetables. Onions and zucchini and mushrooms. We grilled them and we had to dip them in the sauces to add flavor. For the meats. Short ribs were extremely fatty and chewy and the seasoning was bland. Short ribs on no bone Was very fatty and chewy and the way it was cut was like it was cut by hand not even made it hard to grill. Ox tongue Had same seasoning as the short ribs. Not much flavor in the sauce. It was ok nothing special. Pork belly Was cut so small made it hard to grill properly. No seasoning on the pork belly. Pineapple Was fresh and not canned and we grilled it as well. It's a nice place but with a few improvements it can be a winner.

The pancheon side dishes were lacking: the noodles were nice but way too sweet, the cucumber and beam sprouts had a flavor that was a bit off, and also too sweet; the potato was decent.
