What can I say mon ami... The location is uninviting and the decor nothing to write home about. This being said setting your expectations to a different standard may get you a great meal experience. This location is ticking most of the checklist by offering: the usual cuts of meat, a good banchan selection to choose from, all you need to make great ssambap wraps and last but not least it's all about ssamjang sauce... Cause you can never have enough ssamjang and garlic!!

My first time coming. Seated right away at 7:00. Ice cold water without ice was brought to us immediately. It was so good! She was very helpful in suggesting dishes for us to try. I had to get the fried chicken. Heard so much about how crispy and moist it is. And they were right. It was great. The spring rolls were good too. I had the seafood tofu soup. Beyond great ! Oh yes, piping hot and spicy. My daughter had the Kimchi fried rice! She said it was fantastic! We didn't even leave and she was saying we must go back, lol.

    Bulgolgi!

We ordered on a whim and really enjoyed our lunch. Highlight dishes were the fried chicken and bulgolgi, which is served with rice and a salad! The bibimbap was good but not as good as other places. The spicy pork in the bibimbap was great but the vegetables were ok, i think it was the way they were sliced and the gochujang sauce wasnt as good as other places.

Impromptu stop at this location that once used to be an infamous local family owned pizza joint (RIP Leo's Pizza). I was impressed with how crowded this venue was for its recent opening. It doesn't come as a surprise the Asian community is very strong in the South Shore. Past businesses never did well in this location- but this was a change. The wait was around 20 mins before we got a table- the staff seemed overwhelmed and they didn't take your name down to keep priority of order of people coming in. When we got our table- service was quick. We were given water right away and our menus. We ordered 2 grape sodas, the steamed dumplings (8 pieces- very good!), 2 servings of rice cake (Tteokbokki on a stick was slathered on with a ketchupy sauce- I didn't like it); the main course- I ordered the bulgogi hot bowl (good for one person- ask for hot sauce for a kick- I enjoyed this dish a lot). I was hoping to try the fried chicken with cheese fondue dip but was given fried chicken with shredded cheese in a skillet instead! So disappointing! I told the waiter the dish we were served did not remotely look like the dish that was displayed in the menu. He apologized. The owner of the resto mentioned the menus are printed unanimously from the downtown locations- so the fondue dish is served at the Cote-De-Neige location. (False advertisement? or at least update the menus according to location!). My friend whom had ordered take out the night before from this place also had her ordered screwed up-she was missing a fried chicken dish- so she picked it up the day we dined in. When she asked the waitress to inquire about if the chicken was ready -she was told to do it herself!!!! Customer service? hello? Simply put rude! The owner was very empathetic though and gave her complimentary drinks which was nice. Rating my whole experience, I thought the food was very authentic Korean and has merit- but the service and organization of this place needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!! I will be keeping the downtown locations in mind- I am still craving the chicken with cheese fondue!

Pretty good Korean food. I haven't been to the others, but it's nice to have a good Korean restaurant in Brossard. A bit of everything. ^_^

I came to this place 2 times since it opened. I haven't gone to the other locations so I can't compare them. The first time I went was after work on a Thursday at about 5:45pm. The second time was right when it opened at 4pm on a Saturday, making it really easy to get a seat. It looked like it became really full and the wait started at about 7-7:30pm. Food wise it's nothing too special, the soft tofu stew wasn't spicy at all. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It comes with a salad, but no sauce for the chicken, it has to be ordered separately. Seafood pancake was a better choice than the kimchi pancake. The dolsot bibimbap was good. But if you're buying it as take out, make sure to check if they gave you the spicy gochujang with it, they forgot it from my take out. The place may be small but we were able to have 9 people sit together at 1 table. Overall it is a good place if you're craving Korean food. It is pretty cheap if you're going as a large group and ordering a bit of everything for everyone to try.

Fried chicken, dolsot bibimbap with spicy pork, bulgogi bbq for 2, ramyun, tteok kkochi (rice cake skewers)

Pleasantly surprised! Location is bit random but easy to find and it's nice that they have an outdoorsy patio. No wait, service was rapid, and practically all the food came out at the same time which was a feast for the eyes and mouth! I would definitely come back for the fried chicken and the bulgogi bbq had a variety of banchan (side dishes) which I really appreciated. The ramyun, dolsot bibimbap and tteok kkochi were average. Overall, fairly priced and I'm glad Brossard's selection of Korean food is growing!

The restaurant opened today so a bunch of us went to be testers for the rest of our friends who doesn't want to go on opening day without discount. (they are smart...us not so much). They definitely need to work on the service and the food. Today's food was not as good at their other Mon Ami in NDG.......there were not even the rice cake bits on our fried chicken.....fail. Also the chicken is not as good as the one in NDG. Service was a bit slow and they seemed a bit lost. Also the power to their coffee machine and fridge broke....so no free coffee as advertised...... It's still decent fried chicken just not as good as their other place.

We came here with local friends and had a delicious dinner. A highlight (perhaps fusion dish) is their steak on sizzling plate. The thinly sliced meat was cooking in front of us. No sauce. Nothing added. We could grill some mushroom on the side and add sea salt to it. Simple and so delicious. The izakaya grilled shell-on prawns are large and succulent. Grilled pork belly on skewers (Japanese izakaya style) were also tender and wonderful. The waiter was wonderful; he spoke French and English (we are a French-speaking group). He patiently took group photos for us, too. The whole place is decked out with neon lights and small delights. The "grotto" booths look like fun (but it's for 6 people). Even the ladies' room is fully decorated with wall length "mural" of a samurai. These are individual rooms with toilet and sink and are gender neutral.

Well, let's just say I'm glad this area has a wealth of food options, because I'm not coming back here. It wasn't busy when I went on a Tuesday around 1pm, though it was noticeably busier when I left an hour later. My family tried the following items: Beef gyoza - Pretty good Oshizushi - For $49 it was poor. We had the thinnest slices of beef, to the point where it felt like a sauce rather than actual beef. Ramen Iru - Not enough soup given the amount of food received. Gochujang Karaage - We had the thinnest pieces of chicken I've ever seen. It felt like it was crispy chicken skin as opposed to chicken thighs. Service was excellent, but unfortunately given the food quality I can't see myself returning here.

Tables are jammed so close together you end up shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, dodging servers and elbows the whole time. It's noisy, cramped, and stressful -- the opposite of a relaxing meal. Layout makes no sense: tiny two-tops shoved beside high-traffic zones, larger parties squeezed into corners with zero space to move, and some tables practically touching the entrance or washroom hallway. You feel rushed before you even sit down. Chairs are hard and wobbly, there's no room for bags or coats, and you're constantly getting bumped because there's barely an aisle. If you value personal space, forget it. Service suffers because of the overcrowding. Staff are hustling but clearly stretched thin, so basics lag -- water refills, cutlery, checking in after food arrives. Food comes out at odd intervals and cools fast in the drafty spots. The noise level is cafeteria-grade; you end up shouting across the table. Accessibility is an afterthought: tight turns, blocked paths, and nowhere to park a stroller or mobility aid without being in someone's way. This isn't just my night, either. A lot of other reviews for the Saint-Bruno location say the same things: overbooked, packed in, chaotic atmosphere, long waits even with a reservation, and staff forced to manage a floor plan that puts turnover ahead of comfort. The pattern is pretty clear -- maximize seats, minimize experience. If management wants repeat customers, they need to pull tables, widen aisles, fix traffic pinch points near the door and washrooms, add soft surfaces to tame the reverb, and stop overbooking peak hours. Until then, there are plenty of places nearby that won't make you pay to feel like you're eating in a hallway.
