The store manager, Adrian, was so rude to us and his staff. We were appalled at his comments and behavior towards us when we were trying to figure out how to get paper unjammed in the printer. We told him we wouldn't come back to the store and his response was "good". No remorse for treating us and his staff badly. read more

Poorest service!!! A disappointment. Absolutely not a customer-centric printing center! I am needing assistance in printing product/address labels using my file and I was TOLD that in order to get this done I need to: 1. Have the entire document SET UP on the template sheet and print it myself on their printer (meaning I have to manually do it myself AND of which I am not tech savvy at all to do this hence I seek their assistance) 2. Send to their graphics, pay a $24.99 fee and wait 72 hours for completion (mind you, this is simply to transfer my single file to a template sheet which is in their Officemax brand label or Avery equivalent) 3. That they don't have enough staff to help me do this (mind you again, I was the only customer there and 1st to line after checking in my name so there was zero wait) In my mind, is this what Office Depot now has become? I have been a customer for more 15 years and this lack of help inside what they specialize in and advertise for is a huge letdown. Gone are the days when staff team is always willing to assist as soon as possible (and I am more than willing to pay for a few minutes of set up as it's only fair & have it done in-store especially as there was no line and nothing was going on - the staff was sitting on her chair relaxed). I won't be surprised if this business goes down and slow. Poor customer service and lack of desire to help and little to no empathy is unacceptable. I guess this experience says I CANNOT TRUST Office Depot in serving our business needs. A shame. Time to take business elsewhere - possibly UPS stores where they are owned independently and have much better service. Bye Bye Office Depot. I want to report the store manager during 9/04/2025- evening shift. His name was Adrian. Take a look at this video at the end, he even tried to hit this guy who was there. He was soooo rude and he was yelling at us, throwing things around and saying bunch of stuff to us as customers. Something needs to be taken care of here asap. read more

This OfficeMax is a complete JOKE! Employees stand around doing nothing and will not acknowledge of assist customers as they customers enter the store. When a customer asks an employee for help, the employee acts as if they are being burdened and act annoyed. I think is why the store had more employees than customers. UPDATE: Saturday, 2023-FEB-25. OfficeMax contacted my 3 days ago and asked me to send them an email detailing my experience. I have heard nothing since, and I probably will not hear back from them. I am thankful I have Walmart and Amazon I can depend on for my office supply needs. I used to go to OfficeMax for my copy needs, but I purchased a portable scanner from Amazon. I look forward to the day OfficeMax/OfficeDepot files for bankruptcy and is liquidated! read more

I drove to this location because with it being so close to Christmas, I didn't feel like taking on the traffic at the Arrowhead location. Oh my god, I should have just dealt with it instead of going into the store. The District Manager, Regional Manager, someone from Corporate should come to this store. No, it's not because of the Customer service or the employees, it's because of that GOD AWFUL SMELL. It smelt very mildewy and stuffy. It smelt like a hot and humid 1999 Arizona summer in there. It's not the employee's fault. In fact, I did see someone moving the little vacuum around. This is all on corporate. I literally felt sick while being in the store for 15 minutes because the smell was so overbearing. I actually had concerns for the employees for having to even work in a potentially hazardous condition. Other customers in the store were complaining and mentioning about how overpowering the smell is. Corporate, please rip the carpets out of this store. I almost just walked out of the store because I honestly was afraid that anything I bought from the store would smell heavily like Mildew. Even in the age of Amazon, some people still need to grab last-minute office supplies and shouldn't have to worry about feeling ill from walking in the store. I was greeted by the multiple employees that were in the store. Yes, some were on their phones. But this is an office supply store located near a once busy mall during Christmas time where it probably only gets super busy during back to school time. If you do need to get something, just do online ordering and pickup to save yourself from having to smell this Officemax that is in DIRE need of a makeover. read more

We bought a brand new printer for our construction company and it was not cheap. Everything was ok at first, but after a few weeks and many ink cartridges later. The printer will not print dark or color anymore! So after trying to switch the ink before it was empty. Still no luck whatsoever. I took in the printer to the store customer service desk in an attempt to switch it or upgrade. But was told that they couldn't do anything for me and that I needed to call the insurance department 1-800 number and file a claim. I asked them to please look up my purchase and again, I was told that they couldn't see my purchase even with a phone number, date of purchase. All this Info was directly from the manager Chris... I will never shop here and will take my business elsewhere. Worse customer service I've encountered. read more

Let's start with the cashier (Vanessa) who had her mask down and face in her phone. She made weird eye contact with me then walked over to her register. Finally asked me if I needed help... Super uneducated about products. I was ready to cash out for 2 sheets of paper printed and the worker tried to look for something with me n told me I had to wait in line for to be charged my 2$ instead of getting me help while she walks me back to the register . Where now there is 4 people in a line ,telling me to wait when I've been ready this entire time... Absolutely ridiculous . Like why be there in the first place?! Did not help one bit! TOTALLY IMPRESSED! I had a simple $4 menu/brochure I needed printed - but only 1 copy. I did it online (SO EASY!!) at night. I got a call FIRST THING the next morning from Katie who said the text in one area of the image looks blurred and it won't come out clear - what a discerning eye! She gave me some suggestions on how to fix it, and said she would cancel the order. I fixed the issues, and re-uploaded the images and the brochure came out INCREDIBLE!! When I went to pick it up (which was ready just minutes later), everyone at this location was VERY nice and greeted me with a smile. I am a VERY picky person, so it was great that Katie is so determined to make sure the customers are happy with their print jobs! KUDOS! read more

do not go here with any serious concerns to fax the government. they charged me $26, the date on the fax was dated 2013 not 2019. the case for my disabled son was closed by the office of civil rights , thus causing our family more problems. less than zero and i want my friggn money back they do not care about people and that when we come to them its to help us not take our money. read more

Good luck if you need something printed at this store the staff is rude, incompetent, and really just don't care about ANY form of customer service... I was actually told to go to Kinkos if I needed the work done that day.. I needed 40 copies of a document in color..and the manager.. he just stands around with a befuddled look and shrugs his shoulders.. be sure to visit Nicole.. for a unique experience in bitchy attitude and helpfulness.. so special..the only Office Max in Scottsdale with stellar service is the one at Desert Ridge.. I went to 4 of them in one day and this is the only one that could really accommodate their customers!! read more
