    Just disappointing. 2nd trip to the store, so much time wasted and staffed with uniformed and passive aggressive, disenfranchised workers. This is an example of an environment where people are unhappy in their workplace and feeling powerless over it. Come on Office Max.... This is Paradise Valley and location needs some support to help your employees be more joyful, accurate, helpful and communicative. It's sad and dreary in there and the employees need an adjustment to their attitudes. One of three who came in happy looking for solutions while I was here and though I got way more than I came in for, not by choice but by weird sales tactic and spent about $60 more than I would have if I ordered from Amazon.... all I can say is this place is a sad and low level experience when it doesn't have to be. Get your employees some good customer service coaching and do more to make their workplace happier. If they aren't the right people then change your people because right now it is all being taken out on your customers.

On a trip out here, from the East Coast, I went furniture shopping in December 2020, as I was not going to pay to move my existing furniture and I wanted a different "vibe" anyway. Salt Creek Furniture in Glendale was my first stop and after visiting many other stores, I returned and furnished my ENTIRE house with Salt Creek. I agree with some of the other comments, that communication may not have been the best, however, I expected delays due to everything being shut down or delayed in 2020-2021. When the furniture arrived, it was beautiful and very well made. The delivery and set up was excellent. Fast forward to September 2024 and I had my primary bedroom painted. The painters cracked the storage footboard of my bed while moving it. I contacted customer service (Michael and Aaron) and ordered a replacement footboard. It took two weeks to come in and was delivered and installed as promised. Once again, the two delivery and installation guys were very polite, neat, and professional. If you are looking for quality furniture, I highly recommend Salt Creek Furniture. You just need to be patient with delivery, as quality takes time.

All I do is get excuses that "the manufacture hasn't called me back." Well, that's not my problem. They need to start reaching out to their customers and giving a heads up, or apologizing for things taking so long. I'm a reasonable person and understand the delays with manufacturing.     I came to purchase two external hard drives and it would have been $200, so that's the amount of…read morethe lost sales. I went to the back of the store where the customer is supposed to pick up a paper slip for the hard drive desired but alas, no paper slips in the one I wanted. So I go to the check-out and wait for the clerk to check out the two people in front of me and then I say that I want these two hard drives. Naturally, she knows nothing so she shouts out into the store, "Hey, Joe." Joe doesn't respond. The clerk tells me he's with another customer. So I wait. She checks out the guy behind me and he also cannot find what he needs. After five minutes, I lose patience and leave. It's frustrating because I know they have what I want; I just cannot get to it without a long wait. My suggestions: 1) maintain a sufficient supply of paper slips with the hard drives. 2) hire enough staff to handle customers. I will go elsewhere to buy the hard drives.
