Kopy Kat Copier - We provide Voice-Over- Internet-Protocol (VoiP) telephone service

My office found Kopy Kat only a few months ago, and we wish we had found them sooner. Getting…read morestarted with them has been easier and more comfortable than my previous two copier companies. Our sales representative actually listened to our concerns about our 'worst fear' of being down entirely and what it would mean to us. Instead of just assuring us service would be fast, he came up with a low cost, creative solution that none of the other representatives even considered (plus, of course, we understand that service is fast). When they installed the copier, we had some issues with our networking and it took far longer than they could have estimated to get it done - working online and on the phone with my office's (only semi-competent) IT consulting company. [We are in the process of changing IT companies, but it has not yet been done]. KKC representatives did not complain or talk of possible extra charges due to the unexpected complications that it turns out were not caused by them. After the install was done, they took the extra step of making sure the copier was successfully connected to each of my office's computers. While doing so, they discovered that two of my computers were running extremely slow - for reasons entirely unrelated to the copier installation. Instead of ignoring them or just telling us there was a problem, they determined that some kind of 'network switch' was failing, and offered to obtain and install a replacement for us. Within 30 minutes it was done, and we were charged only for the purchased part. I feel like we are now in good hands with people we can trust. I know it is not only the copier itself, as we have had four Canon copiers over the last 20+ years. KKC made this the smoothest transition to a new copier yet, and I feel more secure than I did with the other companies.

We recently purchased a new copier/printer and as always, Brian did not let us down. The unit was fast and very easy for our agents to use. When the machine was delivered and set up there were multiple techs to set up each agents computer, and they did not leave until everyone was comfortable on how to use every feature they needed. I absolutely love the ability to scan right to my google drive with this machine! Thank you Brain and ALL your staff for a great experience. I highly recommend Kopy Kat for any of your printing and copying needs.

Pros: polite staff. Cons: everything else. I came here in April to look at ergonomic chairs. The…read moresaleswoman told me a story about how they stand by their products, and I decided to buy a used chair from them - which turned out to be an expensive mistake. The back support and reclining mechanisms began malfunctioning after a few hours of use. I contacted the chair's manufacturer, but they said the chair had an invalid serial number (counterfeit product?), so the chair was not covered by warranty and not eligible for replacement parts (which cost almost as much as a new chair). I then tried to return the chair to Rightsize Facility Performance, but they required me to track down and talk to the original saleswoman, which took days of playing phone tag. I returned the chair in early May and got a receipt, but it's been over a month, and the refund hasn't appeared in my account yet. Also, they claim that they steam-clean the chairs, but when I brought home my chair, there was still a great deal of dirt embedded in the fabric. Shopping here isn't worth the hassle. And the prices here are much higher than other used furniture stores or Craigslist.

I bought a chair through their online ordering process--I gave them my credit card info and…read morescheduled a delivery date. This resulted in me having to answer several calls from them, FAX all this info to them, give them my credit card number over the phone, etc. The price I checked out with online got increased (tax and delivery) and I was told the day I wanted delivery (Sat.) was not a day they ever delivered on. Basically, they made a lot of it okay and did deliver my chair (an hour after they said they would), but the online ordering process is EXTREMELY misleading. You're not really ordering at all!

This Office Max is sadly situated in a dying strip mall in the old Spring Hill Fashion Corner. I'm…read moretruly suprised that it continues to hang on. There is more human activity in a morgue than in this particular Office Max. The other day, I needed a few office supplies so I did some price comparison shopping on their website and then drove over to the store to pick up items I needed. My company goes through so much paper, I should buy my own forest. We probably print 30,000 pages a month so I am always looking for good deals on boxes of paper. As a MaxPerks member, they were recently offering boxes of Boise paper for $30 with a $30 MaxPerks reward. In the end, the paper is free. Great deal there. Then I grabbed a 6 pack of plastic paper trays. Their website advertised that if you buy one pack of paper trays, you get the second pack at 50% off. So I take two packs of paper trays to the counter to be rung up. The rather large hispanic girl at the counter promptly rang the items up at full price. When I mentioned the sale that was posted to their website, she flippantly stated that the store doesn't honor sales posted to the website. Fine then. I promptly told her where she could stick her paper trays and I left. Going forward, my company will be doing all of its office supply shopping at Staples. On principle alone, Office Max is off the list of approved vendors. I'm usually pretty good at pointing out businesses that are dying and I'm going to say that this Office Max has 6 months left. One year tops.

I am the Office Manager of a new high-tech start up in Bolingbrook. After researching and speaking…read moreto 7 companies, we chose Zeaport Equipment for a 2-year-old refurbished floor model printer (Xerox). This is a solid family-run business, and they are the essence of going above and beyond. After the heavy storms last weekend, our printer conked out (that's a technical term!). We had purchased an annual maintenance/service agreement in addition to the printer itself, and it really came in handy. I rang Nicole, the owner, and she herself came to see what was up with our unit. It took a day but it is now up and running, no charge of course, and she even worked with our IT department (located in NY) to get everything set up and reconfigured. Going above and beyond. And, advice: choose the service agreement... it is a reasonable price to pay for less headaches. Excellent customer service and solid technical knowledge. Highly recommended.

Not too thrilled with my Zeaport experience so far…read more I wanted to buy a copier/printer for a small business that works with schools. It was going to replace a hp 11x17 that had been a workhorse (over 400,00 prints) but had finally died. Xerox machine was delivered. The invoice stated that it was a better model than it actually was. Turned the thing on and it copied fine. In the upcoming days I couldn't get it to scan to my computer no matter how hard I tried. The suggestion was to read the manual and set it up. I wonder why I didn't try that in the first place. A week or two after getting the printer, there was a big yellow bar that started printing on the side of the page. Looks like errant toner. I emailed and was told to swap around the drums. That didn't fix things. Next, the printer would randomly chunk a bunch of black toner all over the back side of pages...in addition to the yellow on the front. The solution from Zeaport was to get new toner and pull some cleaner levers. By this point I'm fairly frustrated that Zeaport doesn't care enough to follow up on their sale. After two weeks away without using the printer and two new toner cartridges this thing is printing horribly. Now I'm asked to pay $150 for someone to come look at this 'technician refurbished' machine that has only made a couple hundred prints and has problems immediately after delivery. Maybe this is the way that they get people to buy maintenance contracts. I didn't a 'technician certified refurbished' machine would be a P.O.S. right away. I'll update this after the technician takes a look at this and gives me an update. For now I'd tell anyone to avoid buying from Zeaport or to get a solid warranty or expectation of quality for the machine you get. At a minimum this equipment should work for 60-90 days without falling apart.
