They're an even three if it weren't for their boob of a manager and ghosted corporate response. As in, the weakest apology ever and radio silence from the suits. Basically, walked in with my lucky pen looking for some ink and walked out with a handful of broken pieces parts because the manager flubbed up and dropped it on accident. Skulky response was one for the books! Boo. Inexcusable and unacceptable. Would have been happy with a good apology and shrugging off an offer to repair or replace it but that didn't happen. 3 Stars for their print services for convenience but unpredictable service. I had a great service experience at the print services counter today. Stephanie was so bubbly and helpful. Most of the times I go to get something printed I stumble upon a scene of an older woman/man arguing with the print staff. Often the employees are frustrated and short-staffed and they don't handle the situation well. Stephanie, on the other hand, went above and beyond to make sure to get our order perfect. Unfortunately this is not the norm. Recently I was printing signs on card stock paper and I only noticed later that they printed the signs on both sides of the paper. This made them completely irrelevant and useless. Hopefully this last visit is a step towards a smiling, friendly, and competent future! read more

Since my calendar for 2020 is made of paper, I am trying to decide if I should put it in recycling, or just burn the darn thing. In the meantime, I need a calendar for 2021. After being disappointed with the selection of calendars at two other stores, I decided to stop in at Office Depot. Plenty of wall calendars and pocket calendars available. I was able to get a nice, no frills wall calendar. Just the months and days with holidays marked. This will do. When I am running errands, I will stop in here from time to time to get supplies for the home office. The store is always clean and the aisles are wide with enough room for walking around in. No problem with social distance here. The employees are always friendly and helpful, and the store is always well stocked. Well, most of the time. I am currently shopping for a new printer, and a HP printer compatible for my pc was on sale. Unfortunately, there were no more currently in stock. A employee told me that another store had a few in stock, but it was unlikely that I would be going there soon. But if they had one in stock, they would have made a sale. Sold! Parking is no problem. The lot is big, and I have always been able to get a parking space close to the entrance. And not only is there an entrance to this Office Depot on Colonial Drive, but a back entrance on Hillcrest as well. My home printer died in the middle of important drawing for an inspection. Sent the PDF to Office Depot. I was given a code number for my print.they said to enter the store, use the touch screen, print the drawing, pay and done fast and friendly. It went nothing like that. No touch screen, no help, nothing. I waited I line for 15 minutes when I noticed a sign at the help desks. "No personal service under $2,50. Mine was $2.00. Anna and Dee were AWESOME!! They helped my fiancé and I print our wedding programs and table numbers. Even when their machines weren't cooperating, they were able to flex and produce beautiful documents for us! A note for management: these employees need better equipment! Overall a pretty decent Office Depot. There was sufficient parking, the store was big and bright, and the staff was very helpful. We were there to get some hand stamps and a few things printed. The staff was able to point us in the direction of the stamps quickly. They were also able to work with my co-worker to get something easily printed off of her flash drive (something I haven't seen at my local OD). Good trip overall. read more

Usually, this OD is good. However, my last visit just about ruined my day. It goes as follows: I walked through the queue like the other customer before me to get in line. Another guy walks faster and cuts off the customer before me by avoiding the zig zag queue line entry. He stops and realized what he did as the customer before I showed she was irked. He let her go ahead of him but stayed in front of me. The teller saw this and did not say anything. I felt like saying something but did not. I think she should have said something rather than I. About 15 mins later I had to go back for another thing. I waited in line and had the same teller. Since I was a bit ticked by the prior situation I thought I'd say something politely. She then acknowledged the incident and apologized for her behavior. Then blamed the incident of the shopper saying, "why do people do that"? Because you let them I should have replied. Because he obviously felt like you were covering his back and going to give him special treatment? Any of the above responses could apply. If she didn't admit to letting the shopper cut in line. I would just have thought it was a mistake by his fault. However, she did admit to it and that isn't right. Why have implied rule if they do not apply? Where does that stop? read more

I used to be all about Staples but not anymore. Why close early when people are just getting out of work and getting home? Office depot is at least open an hour later and willing to earn your business. They take matching prices to a whole new level. Miguel is the manager currently... I have never had a problem and they seem to be able to work with you more. I wanted to buy a 4 card plastic clear business card holder online for $7 and the shipping was $10... Since I bought more than normal the shipping was reduced. Plus it was sent to my house... not the store. Pros Open layout etc Friendly Open later than the other places Cons One more hour in your schedule would probably be a big help in this area. read more

Dear teachers, if you work for OCPS and you need cheap copies - this is your place! Apparently they have a contract with OCPS which entitles you to copies at three cents for black-and-white and $.20 for color. This is a lifesaver if you need some last-minute copies or are not set up at your school yet to begin the school year. Mario at the copy center was super helpful even though he was helping about five customers at once! I will definitely be back for my last minute copy and laminating needs! read more

My friend and I​ were both pressed for a deadline and the Shante at this location was amazing! Shante went above and beyond to help us with the printing services and making sure our presentations were correctly done and bounded. I don't believe I've had such great customer service since living in Orlando. I could go on and on and rave about how she spent over an hour to help us while still helping multiple people all at the same time, pretty much she was amazing! read more

I have tried twice now to print brochures at this location and both times have been unsuccessful. The printing staff has given me useless excuses both times because they don't know how to do their job and tried to charge me a setup fee for printing from two different files. Awful read more

Nice store in a good location. I do not use all that many office supplies, so I only shop here once in a while. They usually have everything you want for your office. Thid Office Depot / OfficeMax store is the WORST for service!! While they have a floor rep that greets and asks if they can help, they are totally ignorant of what they have or what their products are. They will just let you wander the aisles forever and have what you need in stock. The "tech" dept is also more concerned about pushing the additional product warranties. This store is Awesome on service! I left Office Depot and went up the road to Staples. Not only did Staples have what we needed, the service rep greeted with hello, asked what I needed, called for help and the stock employee was waiting for us at the end of aisle six waving with a smile!!! I must first say that I never go out of my way to write a poor review, but I was treated so poorly in the print shop that I am breaking that trend. I went in two days in a row to try to print a document. The first time, several people were helped while I was waiting for my document to be printed and then I was told it would be additional time to be formatted. After that time, I found the woman working to be using "paint" software to format my print document. After an hour, I had to leave for dinner reservations. I went in the next day and was treated just as poorly. The new woman at the print desk was visibly irritated that people needed her assistance and cut me (and several other customers) off to ask why we weren't using self-service. She even told a lady that she won't be able to help her for a while because she is "obviously very busy". As she was helping me, she was tapping her fingers and mumbling under her breath. I finally told her I would go somewhere else since I was inconveniencing her so. Everyone is allowed a bad day, but two days in a row, two different employees were unprofessional, dismissive, and clearly not trained to do their job. read more

This place is right down the street from where I work so sometimes I need to pick up office supplies for my job. I don't like to go there because the staff is inconsistent. Sometimes when I ask for help, they have no problem putting forth the minimal effort. but other times, if I ask for help or need a job done, they seem annoyed that I would even have the audacity to ask for help. I have had particularly bad experiences with one staff member named Alissa. Shes doesn't seem to like her job and she talks to everyone like they are stupid. I don't care how bad your day is going, if a customer needs your help you're not supposed to give them a bad attitude. I only give them 2 stars instead of one because they are close by and its not so bad when you don't have to deal with their crappy staff. read more

Went here last night on my way to church. Very clean and well organized. Saw employees engaging with customers. I got help from a nice young man with glasses when I needed to find something.
