A few months back our cats cracked our laptop screen by jumping on top of it. Little did I know how expensive the the screens are to repair. I called a few places and the lowest quote was about $300 and would take atleast a week to repair. Considering my boyfriend makes beats, this was not rational. I found this place through Yelp and so happy I did. Not only was he friendly when we called, he also picked up the computer and had it back to us the next day completely fixed! They made the entire process very easy and reasonable! I spilled coffee on my 2015 Mac laptop and they were able to come pick it up within 2 hours and cleaned it up from me. I worked with Dimitry and he was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He kept me updated as they worked on the laptop and was able to repair the damage for a very reasonable price - the bulk of the cost was the parts that needed repair and the labor fees were fair. After he was done he dropped the laptop off and it has been working like new. The process with Vista was significantly better and more affordable than any experience I have had going to the apple store for repairs. My laptop was toast. I'd had a geeky friend take a look at it and the verdict was trash it and get a new one. I looked into getting it repaired at a couple big box stores and it was going to run me the price of a new laptop. I ran up Vista Computer Repair, explained my problem as only a girl can - and received great customer service. They pick up your computer, fix it, and bring it back! What a time saver! Vista Computer Repair is the last place on Earth that you should ever consider using for Apple Macintosh computer repair in Central Florida/Orlando. They were incredibly unprofessional, rude, insulting, and the repair was a joke. I gave them the simple task of replacing/fixing the power button on the back of the machine. It was just loose in the housing. But when my mom got the machine back from Vista, we noticed that they broke the housing, and wired an external power button to the machine with Scotch Tape. Looks like Vista repaired the machine with scrap parts from a junkyard, right? Needless to say, I was blown away with what they considered to be an acceptable repair. Yes, Conrad, your company did work on this machine, and I will gladly post every single email you sent to us. This place is amazing. I was in town on vacation and my computer decided it did not want to open any of my files. Everything kept telling me that my files were no able to be opened and I need to update my files, now i know windows 7 is not exactly the newest. Lol. I usually don't do these types of things on the road however it was the 2nd day of a 13 day vacation. I started yelping around and came across this company. I contacted them and they got back to me within a few minutes and I explained the situation. They told me to bring it in and they would take a look at it for me. After they did there thing they gave me the best option which was update to the newest version of windows, they also defragmented it and cleaned up my files. So I'm not a computer guy at all. I'm actually an investigator in white collar crimes. I did some research on Vista and Mr. Pritchard and liked what I saw. I had a major issue with my hard drive and knew with the iMac there were a couple unusual aspects/workarounds to fixing it based on my research. I left that out of the conversations with Mr. Pritchard to see if he would reveal it or keep it secret. Had to do with the thermal sensor and replacing the hard drive...Anyway, he was extremely straight forward about it and kept me informed the entire way. I checked into the Apple store and after a few days of demanding estimates they told me it would be a minimum of 600 to 800 dollars. Now, i know the hard drive is 120. The actual take apart the computer is on you tube and looks like it takes an hour. What the hell are they charging for??? Mr. Pritchard picked my computer up at the door (this was a big win, mine is a 27 inch giant and I was not looking forward to lugging it around). He took two working days and had it back to me, delivered to my door. With the O/S loaded. Couple little details like him cleaning my 6 year olds fingerprints off the screen were nice also. Apple wanted up to 800 bucks. Mr. Pritchard charged me under 3oo. And provided door to door service. Are you kidding me? We had a computer problem over the Holiday weekend. I called Vista on Saturday and they analyzed the potential causes over the phone and gave me a time line. On Tuesday they arrived and they brought along a power supply just in case that was the problem and not the motherboard. They had us up and going in less than 1/2 hour.
