The male employee that greeted me helpfully pointed me in the right direction and the female employee who actually assisted me went above and beyond and that was really nice. Shortly after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, I needed to build a work-from-home office space. Like many other people in the same situation, I started searching online for the best deals, but many items that were normally in stock were now back-ordered or just straight up out of stock. I had already ordered an Interactive Counterbalance Laptop Mount which helped provide more desk space, transformed my laptop into a dual monitor system, and enhanced overall ergonomics. However, I was missing a wireless/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo. I currently use a Logitech MK270 keyboard/mouse combo ($24.99 at Office Depot) for work, but after four years of solid use, it is on its last leg. I was looking for something with Bluetooth capability so that I could connect it to multiple devices such as my laptop, cell phone, and Roku. After hours of searching for an in-stock item at the best price, I found a Logitech MK850 wireless/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse at Office Depot in Lake Mary for $79.99. The only issue was that the keyboard/mouse combo was not in-stock. However, after speaking with a representative at the store, I was informed that by placing my order with her over the phone I would receive my new MK850 in one business day. I had the option of picking the item up in-store, curbside, or shipped free to my home. Wow, I was not expecting such great service seeing the trouble it took me to find something that would work for my application. I decided to place my order with the representative over the phone and chose the home delivery option. I placed the order on Sunday morning and my package arrived Tuesday afternoon. My item arrived in mint condition with no shipping damage and Office Depot kept me in the loop with real-time tracking updates. I am impressed with Office Depot's speed of delivery. Additionally, I am glad to see that Office Depot can compete with Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart when it comes to quality, service, and price. The MK850 Keyboard and M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Mouse Combo are what I would consider a premium complement to my existing setup. There are more features than most people need and I do not want to bore you with all the specifications. In my opinion, the main highlights for the keyboard and mouse are: Select buttons are customizable; The white buttons with LED indicators can be synchronized to three separate devices via Bluetooth which allows the user to take control of those devices at any given time; The keyboard has a built-in wrist pad with scooped keys and its concave layout makes it comfortable for all-day typing; Finally the mouse has a left-hand or right-hand option, the roller wheel is on a ball bearing which allows the user to scroll very quickly through pages, and the wheel acts as a button which can be pressed or toggled left and right allowing gesture control over smartphones and smart pads. It is amazing what Logitech has been able to do with Bluetooth technology and these are just a few of the features this product provides. For $79.99, I feel that I received two quality made products that have the look and feel to last through years of heavy use. I have made several important purchases from this Office Depot in the past and so far, their products have never let me down. I purchased a Dell monitor and Acer Laptop a few years back and they are still going strong today. I will continue using Office Depot for future office-related purchases and hope this store continued success for many years to come. read more

I needed to scan a document on my USB drive and the two self serve kiosks were not working. I went to the counter for assistance and the employee asked me if we had a Mac because the USB drive wasn't working (we don't). I found it odd that he said that because it was completely empty and we tried it on our computer before we left (first red flag). He tried four more of their printers and couldn't get any of the printers to scan. I don't know what's worse. Was he trying to get us to buy a new USB or were six of their computer scanners broken..... After the second red flag I contained myself from certain confrontation and left. I went to Staples in the next plaza and surprise, surprise, the USB worked fine! Who would've thought! read more

Altamonte store is way more organized - had an issue with associate (not their fault) they didn't have the answer to my questions, so I ask to speak to the manager and they disclosed the manager of the store was not there and they wouldn't even know when she would be in....???? How do you not know? Just a mess. Came in another day solely bc this location is closer to my home, and manager was not there again. In other words I'll be driving to Altamonte since this location is being ran with no managers or something. read more

I used to have them print out my shipping labels for me. Today I walk in and they informed me that they have a $2.50 minimal for printing. So I got charged $2.50 for three pieces of paper to be printed. Sad that you have to gouge people in this day and age. I will never shop your damn store again and I'll make sure my wife's company drops their account. Was the $2.50 was worth it? read more

Worst inventory ever! There handheld shows desk furniture available however staff can't find it. Floor model isn't for sale even though they have 2 on the floor displayed. Do NOT shop here. Waist of time. read more

I was in a hurry and needed some printer ink fast. I called the location and the guy on the phone was quick to check the aisles to see if they had it. Sure enough, they had it! I drove over there, found it within seconds and was checked out quickly. There was only one lady in line ahead of me, but a worker ran over just to open up another cash register for me. Now THAT is service. Great job Office Depot!!!! read more

Very frustrated with this store. I dropped my laptop off for a repair 11 days ago. It is hard to be without my computer and it took days for the Lenovo person to even take a look at it. I did not even receive a call after they did, I had to call them, though of course I was promised a call. Then I was told they were in the process of ordering the parts. I asked for a quote for the repair and the troubles began. They can't give me a quote. They can't order any parts. They can't advise when the repair is to be completed as apparently they are at the mercy of a third party that is unreliable and unprofessional. It is my understanding they have called numerous times with no success. With the state of the world with covid and so many of us working from home getting this repair done in a timely manner is of the utmost importance. Everyday I spoke with Charlie that unsuccessfully tried to contact the 3rd party to obtain my quote and details of the service and everyday they tell me the same thing they can't reach anyone. How unprofessional of Office Depot to be at the mercy on one unreliable person. My frustration level is extreme and then Lee the MANAGER decided the best action would be to insult me and my intelligence. That was the last straw. I will pick up my laptop and bombard Office Depot Corporate Office and all social media to share what a truly terrible experience it is to work with this company. Never again! read more

Waited in line for nearly 15 min when there was only one person in front of me. There were 5 others working and they did not assist at all or help. Worst customer service I've ever received. Lady with short hair jumped on register and then talked to other guy who was working when I was still waiting. Management needs to be fixed to control their workers. Every time I visit there, one or more of these happens: A wrong price or tag is put up, a wrong price comes up on an item (59.99 instead of 9.99), the cashier needs to wait for a manager to do an override, does not know how to put in a transaction, does it wrong, and has to done again or by a manager, an order was not ready when promised, a custom order was done incorrectly, and I have to come back again, They do it again for half price. Workers do not know what they have or where they are, wrong information about how their promotional systems work is given out, Clerks may say hello, but do not wait to find out what help you need. At the Cashier, I often need to walk way back in the store to where I purchased an item to prove a wrong price charged. The bar code and other information on the rewards key tag wears off easily and quickly. It is a five minute walk from where I live, and they often have a variety of good sale items. My Rewards card collects money for a gift card at the end of the year. These are the reasons why I go there so often. Otherwise, my favorite office store is Staples. There is a large "now hiring" sign in the window. There is a 12% unemployment rate here in Florida, retailers traditionally lay off workers this month on January. They keep closing or relocating stores. Something is wrong here. read more

Everyone is always very friendly and helpful when I am shopping in this store. If they don't stock it they are always willing to see if another location has it in or if they will be receiving it shortly. It makes getting my last minute supplies easier. read more

Had not been to this Office Depot before but went after work a couple weeks ago and really like it. I needed some items for my kids for college and the Manager who was helping me was very knowledgeable and helpful and I realized it was Colin from the OD in Winter Park. Had wondered what happened to him? There was a really angry customer that kept interrupting us and I felt so bad for him, but he handled the rude woman amazingly well.
