I had a huge printing job today - most of which I could manage myself on the self-service copier. Here's the problem: the copy machines, except for the one I used, were down. This seems to be a problem in other Office Depot locations as well. It becomes stressful in that other people need to use the only working self-service copier and I couldn't interrupt my printing job. The print desk was terribly understaffed and the line was quite long. Okay, the good news: Candace (Manager?) at the print desk was amazing - a life saver. She stayed past her shift to make sure I had everything I needed. And she has a great personality which must be difficult when everyone on that long line was not very happy. Also, the employee (did not get her name) who came in after Candace's shift was also extremely helpful. There was a slight issue with my receipt which she magically fixed. read more

It's retarded ass customers that walk in here not having common sense on how to find shit or have any knowledge on how to use a simple printing machine that are the problem. Spent 35 minutes looking around in this store. The only employee that said hello was the cashier who was friendly. Even as we were trying out several office chairs the two employees who walked by didn't bother to acknowledge us or ask if we needed help. Not even the one who walked by twice! We listened to the phone ring three different times, one time it rang eight times and still no one answered. Floors were dirty, desks dusty in office section with trash on them. If you want to see a dying retail store before it closes come here. Quiet like a morgue and employees about as happy as if they were in one. No thank you too many other choices. read more

I give this place 3 stars..not because its bad or not the best but only because its not the best bang for your buck. However it is still convenient enough where if im not willing to drive or wait.. i can pretty much find anything here. I recommend this for the people who cant wait for their office needs. read more

I am writing only related to an online purchase. There have been other experiences with this Office Depot that have been fine, but this one really ticked me off. I ordered a laptop and monitor online at a reduced price. I was not charged for the laptop, but it was not in stock, and I was told it would be a week or two later. I waited about 10 days and hadn't heard anything from Office Depot about getting more of this particular laptop in stock, so I called and was told they did have one. When I went to pick it up, I was told the store manager would not honor the sale price that was offered at the time I wanted to purchase it but would sell it to me at the current price. So, not only did I not get any notice when more came in, they wouldn't even honor the price. There are plenty of places to buy technology. This poor customer service means I will not shop at this Office Depot anymore. read more

I just had some old pictures of my dad blown up to 20x30 at office depot to use for his 60th birthday. The pictures came out amazing and the staff were so nice about helping me with it. Would love to get more pictures done that way again soon. read more

So disappointing because they are conveniently located but their customer service is awful!! The employees definitely need some training in how to be helpful and respectful to customers. Today I tried to purchase three packs of post it notes. The sign read Buy 2/Get One Free of Equal or Lessor Value. The employee told me the deal did not apply to my purchase because I bought two worth 9.99 and one worth 8.99 and in order to get the "deal" I had to buy three packs of the same price. Hmmmm have you read your own signage? I honestly would have gone ahead and bought all three for the regular price but he was so rude and condescending that I could not bring myself to buy something I actually needed. His attitude is rampant at this location. In the future I'll drive further to go to Staples. read more

Note: This rating is based on one shopping experience. Immediately upon entering the store I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff member who directed me to the office supply I was looking for. The selection for the item I was purchasing was plentiful, however, the one item I wanted was the last one and it lacked packaging/a barcode/a price tag. When I went to the cashier to get a price check, the gentleman who originally greeted me immediately rushed to back to the isle to find the correct price. Both this gentleman and the cashier were friendly. Afterward, I had planned on heading over to FedEx to see if I could use their paper trimmer. However, that was not necessary because this Office Depot had one and as a patron, I had free access to it. That saved me so much time. read more

So I'm trying to learn a second language in my spare time (for my girlfriend) and I've found that flashcards are a great way to do that. Still very hard and frustrating. Anyway, I am using half-size index cards, which are surprising hard to find, but I tried Office Depot in Burbank, and they had a couple. This will get me through a couple more chapters. Sounds like a random thing to review them for, but they had what I needed when I needed it, sod that's pretty good in my book. And I have been there in the past for other things too. I have had the worst experience at this store. The manager was unable to assist and even reluctant to help. I walked in ten days prior to this review and attempted to purchase 4 chairs for a professional organization, I was told that they could not give me the chairs because new inventory was on pallets blocking the chairs. They asked I help them out not the inverse and place an order with a free delivery to our office within two days. Being a respectful and understanding individual, I was patient and said fine, I will wait. I have still not received my chairs, rather every morning I am told today in the evening and then in the evening I am told tomorrow morning. We have waited a ridiculous amount of time to receive an email that says we are going to be refunded and that the chairs were not sent out. I went to the store to ask if we could just take the chairs from the store half way through the mess and I was told no there is no way and we can't help. This is not the type of business practice that I would ever want to find myself dealing with. Very deceptive business practice. read more

Really sad to see this place now. It is a ghost town which is expected with all the online stores. We support small business for our office and we come here weekly for supplies. Went in for a new printer and it took 30 minutes for someone to help us and another 30 minutes to bring the printer out. Whoever was there was complaining and standing around for some help. The long lines with just a handful of customers and really understaffed employees just makes shopping online more appealing. read more

I am constantly in need of printer supplies and ink can be very expensive, I was so happy to find this Office Depot location due to the fact that they tend to offer a variety of specials on ink, so I am always able to save money. The staff is definitely helpful, but the only downfall to this particular location is that service is extremely slow. It can be hard to find a staff member if you are in need of assistance, and that can definitely be frustrating. I will go back however, as I am always in the market for low cost ink. read more

The service at this store is horrible. I have been about 4 times in the last couple of months and the attitute of the store staff is rude and unhelpful. Also I ordered a much needed printer cartridge from them and they sent me a defective one. I had to call 3 times and email them once then they said I had to wait for a mailing label to return it, and then they would LET me reorder a new one. I will never order from them again. Worse store ever since they decided to remove their original tech employees they advertise all over the place that they do complete computer service and can fix anything well that is just to get you in the door to up sell you a worthless antivirus software that they get a commission on and the tactic is they tell you need it first because it might be a virus then after you pay up front you get the story of we do not have an internet or wifi connection so we can't do anything for you just let us know if it still is acting up this is after you have just given them $100 for a stupid useless outdated download service tech fee for telling you that you're out of luck I will never go back here again after buying one computer a year and many paper / ink items annualy read more

Don't ever fix your smartphone here. They advertise same day repair for 149.99. I brought my iPhone to get the LCD replaced and they broke my camera. I brought it in for a second time only to find out they need to send my phone elsewhere for 3 days to fix what they broke. They didn't even reimburse me for the money I spent. The girl up front could have been more friendlier but I can't knock her too much when it was about lunch time on a Tuesday. It took about a couple minutes of pretending to look for something when I already found it the second I walked in. Why did I stay longer than I should have? Well I had to buy the latest TurboTax software and it was listed higher than what the Sunday Newspaper ads said it was going to listed as and I needed someone to confirm for me. The cashiers were busy and here was this person right by me disinterested in doing her job. Hey I still gave this place 3 stars because the young guy manning the cashier not only was patient with all my questions he also tried all kinds of coupons even though he would have to rescan everything and double his work. I've never been a fan of this store until today. I had major issues printing my own labels at home, and brought a mess of a project on a jumpdisc to the guys at Office Depot today. Christian, in the printing section, was incredibly helpful to me. He went over and above what anyone would be expected to do for a customer. He wanted to make sure I went home happy, and I did. For an Office Depot, this is absolutely as good as it gets. They have all the options, clean place, enough workers, abundance of parking, conveniently located, nice workers. I don't get what else people want. My review is specific to the gentleman in the print/copy area. I went there today to make some prints and was not only helped by one associate but three. Not because I had too many things to print but because they have an amazing team working in this area. Micle was very patient as I searched for my coupon code. He rung me up and showed me how to use the cutter to cut up the print I just made. As I started cutting 1 of 40 sheets another associate, Danny, stepped in to offer help with the cutting as he saw I was struggling to get my cuts straight. This guy was exceptional. He gave me some tips and I continued along. He came by again after 10 minutes to check in on me and offered assistance to expedite the process. He was not only helpful but an extremely jolly guy. He had great positive energy. Him and another associate, Joshua, assisted in getting my sons birthday cards cut fast! I was out of their in 2 minutes versus an hour, which is how long it would've taken me to cut them. I am so grateful to the team and made sure their manager Nelson heard about it. read more

lame store! don't buy any of the ppp (protection plan) they are offering. it's all money making. the will tell you that you can return the item you bought with the protection buy you bought for it within 2 years but that's not true. they will just tell you to call the manufacturer of product and deal with them! what's the point of buying the protection plan from office depot if you just going to deal with the manufacturer of the item you bought. whatever they tell you about it from the store is not true! so don't buy any protection plan from office depot! read more
