Afternoon hangry moments are real...
After a long work day my brains are fried and thinking of what to have for dinner is a mind games of what the mind and belly can agree on is real. So seeing a hot dog card right along Mother Waldron Park did capture my attention and decided to see what they have.
Nothing really to see other than some chips hanging besides the table filled with condiments, as I did ask what they have to offer. It's all verbal no signs or prices even as she told me the types of hotdogs made which she did mention really fast so all I got was the last one of "all beef hot dog" with bacon on jalapeño cheese sauce and it does sound amazing so that's what I got.
Not sure if they're part of the UFC as their cart and Instagram is filled with it more than anything kinda overkill imo and it just killed the vibe of this food cart.
Bun slightly warm, hot dog same lukewarm which made it bleh and didn't bring out the all beef flavor bacon tasted like a pre-made item and the cheese sauce didn't have any jalapeño kick which was so disappointing...how much was all this $12!! For all this I expected to be "hot" and see chunks of jalapeño but it lacked so much in so many ways I was just sad.
Condiments are all store bought and being sitting in the sun after asking which sauce do you recommend I went for the Garlic Aioli and it liquify out in globs...sigh! Given with just some parchment wrap no plate or anything sturdy I was left with a $12 with no other way to consume than to just stand there and dig in...not cool in so many ways! read more
