Their location is quite a drive for me and it's pretty expensive. For example, the last daycare visit was $84. It's 49.50 for a REPS day, then I added $20 so she could play in the splash pool, and finally, I pay $12 for her to have a lunchtime Kong. You also don't get photos unless you pay $20 for a Facebook updates pics. I didn't pay for that and therefore got no pics of her at the Splash Park and incidentally, she was not in any photos with other dogs who played (and had a ball judging by the photos on the FB page) in the water that day & who's pawrents did pay for the FB update. I'm happy to pay for my dog to have fun but the way she was apparently separated out because I didn't pay, obviously disappointed me. So, needless to say, I'm looking for another daycare that is perhaps a little closer.

It was really touching. The trainer kept me up to date on Lucy's progress and I even got to see social media posts about their play time and beach time. This is where they take your dog to the pool and there is also a sandy place where they can dig. It was very reassuring to me that they let me see where my pups would be staying and I got to help decorate their room. Other places won't show you the actual space your dog is in and are not transparent at all about the actual level of care. This place put my dogs' health and safety first and their happiness as a close second. I will use them again.

Addison said she would send us info on steps to take and further instruction at a 2-week training - never got anything else from her or these people. We decided not to show up for the 5th lesson. We have since gone to someone else, and our dog is doing great, and without a StarMark choke or prong collar that costs a lot of money and hurts the dog. The communication from the time we signed up was spotty at best, and then just got worse. There was no follow-up via phone or email at all. Would never recommend this place based on our experience.

Li'Li used to be extremely skittish and afraid of people - particularly men, but thanks to the calm, confident, and compassionate training from Paul, Avery, Abby, and the entire team, she's become more confident, joyful, and open to people. The transformation is remarkable and deeply heartwarming for me as her mom. What sets Unleashed apart is not just their exceptional skill, but their genuine care and positive, no-drama approach. No yelling, no intimidation - just consistent, respectful, effective guidance. It's changed Li'Li's life and mine, too. TL;DR If their dog training services are as decent as some of the reviews imply, the snake wranglers clearly know nothing about dog training, and why they would allow their brand to be impacted by these subs, I'm not sure what the rationale is. I scheduled two of my dogs for snake training the same day. Neither session was productive. They tried to introduce the dogs to 4 different snake settings in the corral. The first one they approached the snake and shocked the dog. After putting the dog into an excited and unteachable state, they proceeded to drag the dog around the property instead of letting it re-enter a submissive, teachable state. They dragged her around so much so that they yanked the collar off of her neck. Then she proceeded to run around the property. I contained her and brought her back. Then coming back, the snake wranglers were just interested in moving onto the next station they had set up and not concerned about the dog, the dog inputs, or assessing the feedback from the dog. Zero dog skills were demonstrated. My other dog didn't want to follow their leash commands because the snake wranglers weren't skilled with a leash. So they drug my second dog out to the first snake with paws firmly planted on the ground. No training occurred. Just people perfunctorily going through the motions Shock. Repeat dragging the dog. Then when they tired of dragging her, they brought the snake to the dog. She was not even aware. She learned to associate the shock with the wrangler's poor leash skills and perhaps his scent, if anything at all because she was so focused on him and not even aware of the snakes. And she's the hunter we find every night shredding and pulling apart frogs or small field mice (rabbits still too quick for her). She loves to rip apart small prey. We thought she would be the one to bolt and attack once seeing the snakes. Only thing more oblivious to the task at hand were the snake wranglers who didn't know how to focus a dog's attention. If looking for snake aversion training, go elsewhere. The training was perfunctory and pure performance. There was no training. About as effective as them selling you snake oil for your dog's ailments. A better name for this offering would be snake aversion Theater.

I picked Conscious Dog Training because the reviews show they have experience with pugs, and when Hemi had some naughty behavior that needed to be nipped in the bud, CDT stepped in and helped my husband and I better understand what was going on. I love the attention to detail and the customization done with these guys. Our trainer was Rebecca, and she showed up to our house ready to take on Hemi, who we learned, just needed boundaries and more structure in his routine. Training your dog is primarily the effort you make. So if you're ready to do the work, CDT is ready to take you on. They have a zero tolerance policy with electric shock therapy/shock collars, or anything leaning towards negative reinforcement.

By luck, I found Jennifer and she was the perfect fit. She was patient with me, was always upbeat and practiced rewards based training that I could actually repeat on my own and really helped me understand my dogs. She's honestly not just a trainer, she's a shrink for the whole family. She was able to figure out our dynamic and tell me what the dogs were thinking just by their body language and signals and taught me how to read their signs too. The aggression took not only training but meds too. Jennifer helped with so much input and advise on that too. I honestly could not have gotten through the stress of two dogs in the same household not getting along without Jenn keeping everything in perspective for me. She would remind me where we started, the plan we were on and where we were going. I clearly am beyond thrilled with Jennifer's training!! Fast forward two years and I now have more to thank Jenn for! I no longer have my Frenchie but I do have two amazing Pugs. Jenn has reminded me of the basic training I've already been taught and we are back to using our magic mats. Michael and his team are amazing and take excellent care of our babies. Our previous dog, Cornbread(RIP) LOVED going from the time he was a young boy to a senior man. They took amazing care of him through the years and maintained his many medications when he started to slow down. He was placed with dogs who were at his speed and I loved getting to watch him on the webcams. We later adopted a new dog, who is very selective of who he likes...they were so patient with getting to know him and introducing him to camp. Now he loves it and pulls us through the door as soon as we arrive. We love that we can trust he's in safe hands and know he's having a blast. We were out…read moreof the state when a family member suffered a sudden medical emergency and no one was was available to care for his dog. Even though Action Pack was moments away from closing that evening, the employees stayed long enough to allow a family friend time to retrieve the dog from the home and bring to Action Pack. Action Pack was extremely accommodating throughout this entire ordeal - finding space for the dog and allowing him to be dropped off for an undetermined amount of time, even going into a holiday weekend. Unbeknownst to us, at the time of drop off, this dog had a severe flea infestation. The staff at Action Pack treated the situation professionally and compassionately. Not only did Action Pack completely eliminate the fleas, but they continued to care for him in the days afterwards- giving him multiple oatmeal baths and ointment to help provide relief for the skin irritation. By the time we got back to Texas and were able to pick up the dog, he was 100% back to his happy and healthy self. We are extremely grateful to Action Pack for helping us during this hectic and stressful time and have no doubt that the dog was well cared for throughout. We also appreciate the professional and courteous manner in which we were treated upon pickup. Action Pack is absolutely, hands down, the best boarding facility we have ever worked with.

I was then told I would need to pay an additional $1,000 for them to continue working with her, or pick her up. This felt like a bait-and-switch. Adjustment periods and stress behaviors are normal when a dog enters a new environment, and I expected decompression time to be part of the program rather than an added charge. When I picked her up, I was also told I had misrepresented her temperament, which was upsetting and did not reflect my experience with her. Because of the quick reassessment, added cost, and communication style, I chose to remove my dog. I encourage others to ask detailed questions about acclimation procedures, behavior assessment timelines, and potential additional fees before enrolling.
