I explained, my other dog was waiting in the car - in A/C, with my brother, as I have health challenges and it would be difficult for me to manage both dogs at the same time. The receptionist said she did not care. It would be easier for them if I brought both dogs in at once. I reluctantly complied, and the receptionist / tech further hassled me, insisting on weighing the dogs four times, as she and I disagreed regarding the dogs weight - due to the harness, leash, and other items also being on the scale. I was ultimately placed in a room, while I tried to manage both my dogs at once. I waited for about 20 minutes, no one came into the room, so I left. In the lobby, 3 or 4 other employees were just sitting on the sofas. Not sure if they scheduled us during break times or why no one ever came in.

Their location is quite a drive for me and it's pretty expensive. For example, the last daycare visit was $84. It's 49.50 for a REPS day, then I added $20 so she could play in the splash pool, and finally, I pay $12 for her to have a lunchtime Kong. You also don't get photos unless you pay $20 for a Facebook updates pics. I didn't pay for that and therefore got no pics of her at the Splash Park and incidentally, she was not in any photos with other dogs who played (and had a ball judging by the photos on the FB page) in the water that day & who's pawrents did pay for the FB update. I'm happy to pay for my dog to have fun but the way she was apparently separated out because I didn't pay, obviously disappointed me. So, needless to say, I'm looking for another daycare that is perhaps a little closer.

Lucy and Ludo were happy to see me but after saying an excited hello to me, Lucy tried to walk back into the other room as though she wanted to see her kennel friends one more time before leaving. It was really touching. The trainer kept me up to date on Lucy's progress and I even got to see social media posts about their play time and beach time. This is where they take your dog to the pool and there is also a sandy place where they can dig. It was very reassuring to me that they let me see where my pups would be staying and I got to help decorate their room. Other places won't show you the actual space your dog is in and are not transparent at all about the actual level of care. This place put my dogs' health and safety first and their happiness as a close second. I will use them again.

These folks are basically trying to sell their products - collars, leashes, etc. - and the training and support seem to be an after-thoughts. At the 4th lesson, our dog was overwhelmed and wanted to just sit on the mat. The other dogs went outside and did the agility course and our dog was told to sit back and watch (in a large grassy area with fire ants and sticker burrs). Addison said she would send us info on steps to take and further instruction at a 2-week training - never got anything else from her or these people. We decided not to show up for the 5th lesson. We have since gone to someone else, and our dog is doing great, and without a StarMark choke or prong collar that costs a lot of money and hurts the dog. The communication from the time we signed up was spotty at best, and then just got worse. There was no follow-up via phone or email at all. Would never recommend this place based on our experience.

To begin with their facility they do an evaluation (FREE!) which entails essentially a free day of daycare as they recommend for them to be dropped off at least for 4 hours. In addition, they are running a promo for 2 additional free days of daycare after the evaluation!!! In regards to the actual care for the dogs, you can absolutely tell the staff love the dogs. Or puppy at other daycare was extremely nervous to play/potty but not here she had SO MUCH FUN (never too much). For boarding, they give you a daily report card that includes so many pictures of the pups! In addition, they actually encourage owners to bring a bed/toy to make them feel more at home which most other places do not. On the last day they even gave both dogs a bath that wasn't requested by it was an incredibly appreciated thing they did. They have a webcam as well but I did not feel the need to check on it since I knew my pups were safe and having so much fun. It really took the worry out of our vacation I can truly not recommend playful pack and their staff more, we will absolutely be coming back!!

I haven't had any issues with any reservations I have made in the past, pet drop-off has been quick and straightforward as long as you have completed all the pre-work online (pet eating schedule, medication, etc). One of the main reasons why I love this place so much is being able book a reservation only a few days prior to that date and therefore not having to worry and plan months in advance to get a spot for boarding like at some other places.

This past July she boarded him for 7 days and, again, did NOT request individual play for him. However, when she went to pick him up, they had charged her an extra $126 for individual play. She called and asked why they did that, and the girl she spoke to to confirmed that none of her paperwork said anything about her requesting that additional service, but since the service was performed she owed the money. She called back and spoke to the manager, Cody, and he also confirmed that nowhere in any of her paperwork did it show that she requested this additional service, but since the service was performed, she had to pay. This is mind boggling to me that this business (basically) admitted that THEY made a mistake and that SHE has to pay for it! Shame on you Pet Suites. You don't make the customer pay for YOUR mistake. Check your invoices everyone. Pet Suites is trying to collect more than they're owed.

Allison and I attended the same college for the same degree, so we knew each other back in the day. We ran in similar circles. But this was 20 years ago. We hadn't spoken since college. I ended up moving to Austin a year ago for a job which required A LOT of travel. I saw a Facebook post that Allison had a pet sitting business. I contacted her because I felt like I was abusing all my friendships by asking them to take care of my cat while I traveled. Allison and I had a quick and energetic catch-up on the phone and scheduled a consultation. Allison and her partner came over to my house, and met my cat, Dewey. They quickly bonded. What surprised me the most was how professional this business is. Allison had a bunch of paperwork to go over with me. It was a legit operation. They have a website with a login where I can schedule services and pay my invoices. This has become one of the most useful aspects for using Chico and Chums. I can schedule a service on my portal and know that everything will be taken care of. A few months ago Dewey had some bladder problems and was on medicine. I had to go out of town for work and was terrified to leave him. Chico and Chums took great care of Dewey, and gave him his medicine, and gave me detailed updates. I was still a bit worried, so I asked for Dewey to be taken to the vet to make sure he was still okay. C&C was able to interact with my vet on my behalf and it really was a relief to know Dewey was in good hands. Now when i have to go out of town, I just immediately schedule service with Chico and Chums. I stopped asking my friends to help out because, honestly, you get what you pay for. The ease of scheduling and peace of mind that comes from using Chico and Chums is worth every bit of money I pay them. This has eased my stress and guilt about leaving my cat while I have to travel. I'm so thankful that I found a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. I know Allison personally and can vouch for her character, and she will love your pet like it's her own. Thanks Chico & Chums. You're the best!
