So I call at 5:22 to see how much longer being that they close at 5:30 and was told they where still backed up and hadn't started on my dogs yet and also they would be done in a while . Ok so I don't care what the excuse is ,I have no clue if the dogs are in cages with water or have been able to use the restroom outside their cages for at least 8 1/2 ho I've avoided places like PetSmart foe this same reason . They say oh your pets just fine we have water and we walk them when in fact they don't leave their cage for like 6 hours straight and don't have water bowls either . Even with water sitting in a cage waiting to be groomed from basically 9:00 am to past 5:30 is insane . At this point I'm within reason of being upset to a certain degree . I get they are behind maybe lack help or whatever but damn if you had too many cuts lined up for one day all you had to say was sorry we are booked and left it at that . I appreciate taking my dogs in but don't understand how a small poodle and Shih Tzu take 9 hours to get groomed . Even with doing one dog an hour which i doubt is the case you'd had to have had 15-18 dogs or more all before them if you had two groomers at the least . Even if you had only 12 dogs before them that's way to much do offer to cut in the time you guys open and close . If it's not then why is taking so long?

We should note he has extremely sensitive skin/allergies - we did their deshedding treatment (not oatmeal) & overall he did fine with it. He smelled clean, but not an overpowering smell. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. She is warm and friendly and our catizens are in her capable and loving hands. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. It's always a huge concern with special need seniors that they get the gentle, custom care they require. They came back inside calm and the cuts clean, well shaped and less than we expected to pay. The process would take 3 hours and I'd split it into multiple days because neither him nor I could do a full 3 hour session at once. I said all that to say that I wish I would've gone to Betty sooner! I got my dog Beast in 2022 and for some reason it was really hard to find a groomer--no one was taking on new clients. I scheduled my appointment online with Wholesome Doodle, answered a few questions and uploaded a few pics of what I wanted Beast's cut to look like. I was able to get aN appointment fairly quickly. Upon meeting Betty, she felt around for mats and helped me come up with a mat that would be best for Beast. Unfortunately, we had to shave him down pretty low during his first grooming appointment, but that was no one's fault but my own. Things got In the way and I didn't brush him as regularly as I should've and many mats formed. Following the appointment she provided us with a folder with care and maintenance tips for his coat.
