We just got our 2-year-old pup back from Manny after a 3-week reactive board and train, and we're beyond thrilled with the results! Our boy Parker was full of energy and needed help with general obedience and with leash reactivity. Manny was incredible throughout the entire process. He answered all our (many!) questions and kept us updated with photos and videos of our dog's progress every step of the way. On pickup day, we couldn't believe the transformation. Our boy was calm, attentive, and completely focused on Manny's commands. Manny spent nearly two hours with us, walking through everything we'd need to know and giving us the tools and confidence to continue the work at home. We can't wait to enjoy stress-free walks and off-leash adventures together. We couldn't recommend Manny and OLK more! 10/10 experience!
We recently completed a 3-week board and train program with Manny at Off Leash K9, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. From day one, Manny showed incredible patience and dedication--not just to our dog, but to us as owners. Our girl got a little homesick at the beginning, and Manny truly went above and beyond to help her adjust. He made her homemade food, and even personally picked her up and dropped her off for a few days to ease the transition. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he trains and treats them like his own. At pickup, Manny spent over two hours with us, making sure we understood the training, answered all our questions, and helped us feel confident continuing the work at home. He also offers refresher sessions, which we really appreciate--and we absolutely plan to keep working with him. We're so excited to have our dog home with us and, more importantly, to have the tools and training to take her places and help her succeed around distractions. Thank you, Manny!
We enrolled our 5-year-old Lab/Australian Cattle Dog mix rescue in training because she struggled with severe anxiety and insecurity. Taking her out in public was stressful, she would shake, bark and become very reactive out of fear, which in turn made us anxious too. From the very first call with Manny at Off Leash K9 Training, we knew he was the right fit. He genuinely cared about both our dog and us, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions, which gave us so much confidence moving forward. Throughout the training, Manny kept us updated daily with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and exciting to see her progress. After 4 weeks, our Raven girl is truly transformed. She's so much more confident, calm, and equipped with amazing tools and commands that have made a huge difference in her behavior. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Manny put into working with Raven. We can't thank him enough and are so excited to continue building on everything she's learned. This is just the beginning! Highly recommend!!!
I can't express the gratitude I have for OFF LEASH and trainer Manny. We adopted a 14 month Husky from a shelter got him home and he turned out to be very possessive and aggressive and had bitten my husband, both of my sons and myself. We were 1 day from returning Timber to the shelter where I was told he would be euthanized due to his bites. We picked him up from Manny a few days ago and all I can say was WOW!! A total transformation. We will be sending another fur baby in the near future! THANK YOU OFF LEASH & MANNY YOU MOST DEFINITELY SAVED TIMBERS LIFE.
Manny truly saved me and Hank's quality of life. Hank just lost his best friend to cancer and was struggling with grief. He was also trying to adjust to giant move from the Bay Area to SD. He was being attacked by so many dogs due to his size that he was becoming reactive. His reactive behaviors were becoming more and more difficult for me to anticipate and control. He was afraid of every dog and person. After I injured my shoulder from Hank lunging at a dog while I held onto his leash I knew I needed help. I really knew that Hank needed me to get help for us. Manny came HIGHLY recommended by many of my friends in our Bernese Mountain Dog Club. Hank went off to boot camp for three weeks. When I picked him up - Manny taught me how to be more confident and clear with Hank. Hank was more confident and knew the expectations. I had so much tension built up in my body from all the stress that when I finally brought Hank home and saw how much we could trust each other- I felt so much better! It was all because of Manny and his training! Manny knows how to build confidence in you and his expertise is out of this world. Hank goes regularly for boarding when I need to be out of town. Hank loses his mind with excitement when it's time to go see Manny. I cannot thank Manny enough. Hank and I can go to public places and enjoy our time! I still go for refreshers and he even allows me to reach out to him if I have concerns or questions even after his three week training. Manny sent me videos and photos every day! It wa so great to get updates on how Hank was doing. It eased all my anxiety! Nathalie took all the information and she really helped me through the process. She was even there for me when we lost Nana to cancer. She was so patient with me when I needed to reschedule etc. and she helped me when Hank needed to go in immediately due to escalating behavior after Nana died. Thank you OFF LEASH K9!
Our trainer was Gabija for our 5 month old black lab. Our lab spent 2 weeks with Gabija working on command goals and confidence. Our lab was jumping on the table grabbing food, taking the kids toys, was super shy to potty on walks, and jumping on people excitedly, even strangers on walks. All in all, she learned all the basic commands using an e-collar and we've only had her back for 2 days but we've seen a huge improvement in her behavior and confidence to potty on walks. We've hardly had to use the e-collar because after she hears the command she complies. During the 2 weeks Gabija sent us a daily report of how our lab was going, what she was exposed to and learning, along with videos and photos which we looked forward to as a family. She was really great with our dog and she has learned a lot of what was advertised. We recommended Gabija to our friends already! Cons: cost of 2 week program is expensive and the drive to drop off the dog and pick her up were time consuming, and hour and a half one way. For the price should have to option to meet at a local park where the customer/dog owner lives. Plan for pick to potentially be close to 5 hours... driving round trip 3 hours plus 2 hour training to go over the commands. Wish the customer would have options for the drop off/pick up considering the program cost.
Best decision we ever made with our sweet boy! Waylon is a super sweet boy but had a lot to work on. He was counter surfing, posturing other dogs, showing aggression toward people in and outside of our home, not listening to commands and overall just had no real structure. We were struggling to keep up with his high energy because we couldn't take him anywhere without anxiety due to his behavioral problems. We hired Manny as our trainer after I had seen some of the work he's done around our neighborhood with other dogs and I am so glad we made this decision! His training far exceeded all of our expectations. The moment we picked Waylon up was a night and day difference. He now is structured, didn't jump, so obedient to everything Manny has worked on with him and quickly realized that the training will be transferring to our home environment as well. Upon pickup, we were walked through all of the training, working commands and distractions with Waylon and learning how the e-collar works coinciding with verbal and visual cues. We love that everything is trained on positive reinforcement and timing. It made us so comfortable to leave Waylon with Manny for two weeks, knowing he was in the best care both in and out of training. We're so thankful, this training is life changing! Manny- you are amazing!!
Danielle Adams was AMAZING. I loved working with her. She was patient and understand of me and my issues with my dog. She showed genuine interest in our life and that she wanted to help. She was professional and friendly. She helped me through all the steps during pickup and how to continue his journey to a better more confident life. I am so incredibly thankful. It's been life changing. She helped me gain confidence as well. I hope to never need her again, but would absolutely choose her over and over. Cannot say enough great things.
We had an incredible experience with Off Leash K9 training! Our 10-month-old Goldendoodle, Tiffany, stayed with the trainer Alex for two weeks, and the transformation has been amazing. It's like we got a completely new dog! Tiffany is now much more obedient, follows commands easily, barks much less, and is overall gentler and calmer. Alex maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process, keeping us updated with Tiffany's progress, and even sending photos and videos. On the day we picked up Tiffany, Alex took a time with quality to explain the entire process to us, providing clear guidance on how to continue the training and use the commands at home. We are beyond happy and grateful. Alex, you were phenomenal!
Having our 1 year old Vizsla work with Elaine for Off Leash K9 Training was really the best thing we could do for her! She had so much energy and we didn't fully know how to direct it and teach her more than just the basics. Elaine was able to build confidence in our dog as well as in us as her owners. She now is a fully off leash dog who loves to "work" and has the ability to place, touch, heel, go through, sit and down at a distance and sit and down while in motion. Truly wonderful. We did the 3 week board and train program and I would recommend it and Elaine as at trainer to anyone.
At first I think most people don't want or know how to be consistent and hold their dog accountable. We don't know what that means. I didn't I've never had a trained dog. I never had too, but honestly it was the best money Ive ever spent. You guys taught me what my dog breed needs. When I finally understood that, (thanks for your patience with me) I've learned so much from you guys. I learned how to holding her accountable and be consistent. Thank you all so much!! All you Tom, Natalie, Gabija, Manny and McKenna, thank you all for everything you've done to help us. Kiley is a loved member of our family. She has turned are world up side down but we love it! I honestly wouldn't be where I'm at without you! You're the best!! Love you guys thanks again!!
We booked a 3 week reactive dog boarding with Manny for our Pomeranian-Husky Forest. We had problems with him being a little reactive to some people and dogs when going to public places or had visitors/visiting family. We noticed he would get overwhelmed when so much activity was happening and had a harder time staying calm. We also struggled with recall with him. Manny was very communicative when it came to answering all our questions and concerns prior to boarding and the use of e-collar. He was also telling us what he would work with him when dropping off and gave us clear instructions after pick-up! Throughout boarding he gave us updates of how Forest was doing. I have attached a small snippet of how Forest now heels during walks! He would always pull me and never walk beside me. We are very happy with the work Manny has done and the confidence he has given Forest while he was him! Even after boarding Manny has stayed responsive with answering additional training questions! He made sure we were comfortable before taking Forest home with the training and how to use the ecollar. Thank you Manny!
I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Manny at Off Leash K-9 Training. I was pretty defeated and felt completely hopeless by the time I found Manny. I had just met with another trainer a month or so prior that told me I should put my pitbull down, to say I was devastated was an under statement. I decided I'd get a second opinion and if the next trainer told me he's a lost cause then maybe I should accept the fact that he's a hazard and a liability to not only my family but others as well. I told Manny our 7 year old Pitbulls entire history as well as what the other trainer told us and he was all in on training him. He was willing to chat with me almost immediately and his confidence, knowledge and energy made me feel so comfortable. I knew after our first chat that he was the guy for our pup. Our pitbull has a history of being reactive towards other dogs, had lunged at children on bikes and had been in a couple attacks both initiated by him and not and so I was sure what to expect when I sent him off for the 3 week training. Manny went above and beyond and kept us updated either through text or by phone call the entire time. I received a call about 5-7 days in and he told me our dog had redirected which meant he was in such a heightened state of anxiety that he redirected his energy to Manny and at the point I said "do you need me to come get him" and Manny assured me that he can help our dog work through whatever it is that is making him react in such a way. I almost cried because someone finally gave me hope that our dog could get the help he truly needed. Now we walk our dog out in public around dogs, people and children in high traffic areas and he's so calm and focus on us. It's like he's a whole new dog. Manny helped him find his confidence and since then we've been keeping up with the exposure and training. It's been almost a month now and our dog seems so much more comfortable in his own skin and he's always smiling and happy. I cannot recommend Manny from off leash training more!! I have told so many about how amazing our experience has been and will continue to do so. The transformation we've experienced with our dog is out of this world. You will not regret your decision if you choose to go with Manny or Off Leash K9 Training in general. Their trainers are highly trained and skilled at what they do.

We had our 11 month old English golden trained with OLK9. Prior to this our pup wouldn't be the best on a leash. He was ok but tends to get distracted by anything moving (which is pretty impossible to avoid). And at home seemed to have selective hearing with commands he should've known already. Which led us to be frustrated and always yelling at him. Yes we know he's still a puppy but we wanted to nip a lot of his negative behaviors as early as possible so we could enjoy him more. He was partnered with Cole as his trainer and we couldn't be happier with his results. We loved getting videos of his progress. But when he got home we have been walking him off leash since then. He's such a well mannered dog with the same happy and loving temperament. I 100% recommend off leash k9!!! Wish I started earlier! read more

Wow. Let me start by saying we have a very large puppy that would pull us down the street, 110 lbs. We heard about Manny through a friend and decided to book. In the first session our boy had completely done a 180 and by the fourth session we had a perfectly happy well trained dog. Couldn't have done it without manny, make sure you ask for him when booking. He is the dog whisperer and more importantly taught us how to properly train our dog. Couldn't thank him enough! read more

I was looking for a dog trainer to help with my two dogs' leash reactivity and Manny was referred to me by a former coworker. Ive heard a lot of bad things regarding board and trains before so I was really worried about giving up my dogs. Manny did a great job sending me videos, photos and updates every day which eased my worries especially because my dogs looked so happy in all of them. When the program was over I picked them up and you could tell that they both adored him. Like you can tell he actually loves dogs which unfortunately is not the case with every dog trainer out there. I'm so grateful for all the work he did with my dogs and on top of that has been super responsive too since I still bombard him with questions as I now continue the training with my dogs myself. If you're looking for a great dog trainer who is actually passionate about helping dogs and their owners hit up Manny :) read more

We just finished the 8 week training with Jayme for our now 8-month-old bernedoodle Maverick. The transformation is wonderful. Jayme is really great and it's clear training dogs is her passion. She knows what she is doing! Jayme was patient and loved Maverick. She challenged him and taught us along the way. Training Maverick with OffLeashK9 in Murrieta was the best decision we made. Thank you so much Jayme! read more

It's been approximately 1 month since my 8 month old GSD finished her Top Dog program with Megan. This is the second dog that the company has trained for me and If I could give them more stars, I certainly would. I have 15+ years in federal LE, and have worked with a good amount of working dogs with different skill sets in a tactical environment. Megan came highly recommended by the owner of the company and she is absolutely phenomenal. Trusting someone with your fur child is a big deal, and she really made me feel at ease while I was gone overseas during my pup's training. There's a lot of schools out there, but Off Leash K9 has a reputation of professionalism and a love for animals throughout the country. read more

My pup Boba was with Ariel for 3 weeks and even though I know my pup was still 5 months old, Ariel did an amazing job training my pup. Boba is a very lovable pup and the best part is having him walk next to me off leash and follows commands very well. I would recommend this place for training and Ariel had an amazing backyard where I know my pup had lots of fun and enjoyed working with his trainer. Thank you so much Ariel! I would def go back if I get another dog or take boba back for the refresher trainings. read more

Absolute game changer! I wish I would've done this years ago! Our trainer, Cole (Butterworth) was amazing! The love and care in addition to the training my dogs got while they were with him was unbelievable! They are now very polite and well behaved dogs that I feel 100% comfortable taking them anywhere with me. This was not the case prior to working with Cole! I would recommend this training to anyone that is wanting to fully enjoy their dogs! Don't wait! Do it now! read more

My puppy turned a year old and he was becoming quite disobedient. He's a standard poodle and is very smart but I wasn't doing a good job with properly channeling his energy and he wasn't responding to my commands. So a friend recommended Megan Dunn and she explained their training program. I enlisted my dog for a one week boarding/training where she took him at her property. She sent me pictures, videos, and detailed summaries every day! I picked him up on the 7th day where Megan taught me the regiment (which took about 2 hours). She watched me do the same training with my pup until I was comfortable. It's been a few months and overall everything is still going great with their method. My dog responds very well! I absolutely love it when I ask him to heel on a walk/run and he hugs up against my left leg. It's super cool! I've already referred Megan to multiple friends. Highly Recommend. read more

After extensive research I decided on OffLeash K9 for my 10 month old poodle. Life at home had become managing his behavior from day to day and not really being able to enjoy our relationship. He pulled and barked at everything on walks and even car rides. Taking him anywhere was impossible because he acted wild. He did the three week board and train Top Dog program with Jennifer in Highland. While there is work to do transitioning from her home to ours I feel we are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed. I feel more in control and am looking forward to building the relationship with him that we've always wanted. He is a smart but stubborn boy who definitely needed the intensive focused training provided by Off Leash K9 and Jennifer. read more

We took our eight month old golden doodle Ginger to Jennifer for training. We chose the 14 day off leash program, Ginger was a fun puppy full of energy and love for everyone, but she had annoying habits that included jumping on people, not listening, and would not walk on a leash without dragging you down the street. My daughter Delayna, she is 11, didn't like the thought of being without her puppy for 14 days. Jennifer made it so easy for us though with pictures every night and videos of her progress, my daughter would ask anxiously every evening if I received pictures of Ginger yet. Thank you Jennifer for the hard work you put in with ginger, I can tell by the pictures that she was happy and well taken care of. And the finished project was really amazing. Ginger is so well behaved now and listens to all the commands it's really amazing. I felt it was money well spent! Thank you off leash, thank you Jennifer for showing our puppy the love and care while getting trained. Greg & Veronica and Delayna, and Ginger read more

Arnel did an amazing job with our 10 month old golden retriever. He kept in contact with me with pictures and videos and gave us updates on Tuckers progress throughout the 2 week training. Within 24 hours, Arnel sent us a video of Tucker off leash and coming back once commanded to do so. It was amazing what he was able to accomplish with Tucker in such a short period of time. He did an awesome job helping us train with him when we picked him up. It's been 5 days since we picked Tucker up from the 2 week training and he's a totally different dog now! I couldn't thank Arnel enough! I would 100% recommend using Arnel as your trainer. He exceeded all our expectations. 11/10 experience! I highly recommend off leash K9!! I did the 2 week board and train with the trainer Cole for our 9 month old Doberman. He constantly eased my worries about leaving him for 2 weeks. Always answered my questions and sent me an update with pictures and videos every day! When we picked him up after the two weeks he was still the same goofball but had such good manners, walked on and off leash super well and Cole worked us through the whole process moving forward amazingly! Even if it's not listed in their training quarantees they still go above and beyond to work on any other issues you may be having! Our boy came home crate trained (something we always struggled with) and had so much more confidence in himself overall! And best of all they offer refresher training for free for the rest of his life! read more

We have a 15 month old Maltese, that developed many issues, that I could not resolve, despite extensive research and training. He became very reactive to people, dogs, cars, bikes, etc. He was grabbing at bushes, newspaper, rocks, while walking. I was having to drive him to semi isolated area's to walk him. Needless to say, walking him wasn't enjoyable. I started researching trainers and found Off Leash K9 Training. I signed Opie up for a 21 day, board and train, as these issues, were extensive. I wanted everything I could get, for Opie! Every evening, I received video's of Opie, in various situations, from crowded, outdoor mall's, to parks, crowded with people. Opie would walk, within a foot of the crowds, at a heel. She took him, along the outside of dog parks and large indoor shops, like Bass Pro. I was able to track his progress and get really nice pictures of him, in training. Opie was trained by, Jennifer Pinder! I now have a completely different dog. He's extremely well behaved, follows many commands and walks in public places, at a heel. Jennifer was great in giving us clear direction, on Opies training. She worked with us for 2 hours and was prepared to spend as much time as needed. she emailed me extensive information on a Opies command's and the proper use of the e collar. Jennifer asked me to stay in touch and let her know if I was having any issues. She clearly cares about Opie and wants long term results. There are no words to express our appreciation of Jennifer and Off Leash K9 Training. Opie's quality of life, has been tremendously enhanced, along with our's. read more

Heather from Off Leash K9 Training is by far the best trainer! Our Goldendoodle Mochi never used to listen to us. Any time we were out in public she would be distracted, pull excessively on the leash, and so forth. First meeting Heather, she put all of our worries at ease. Her positive attitude made us so comfortable about the whole process, and her daily updates whether it was a picture, video or text, showed the massive improvements Mochi made every day. The fact that Mochi looked happy in every update showed the great treatment Heather took into training/taking care of her. Not only that, but on top of the well trained dog Mochi turned into, her goofy personality remained the same even after pickup. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude towards Heather. Throughout the entire process she has been nothing but kind and open to any questions. Just wanted to say thank you again to her and I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a dog trainer. read more

We got our puppy Memorial Day weekend and spent 3 weeks of not sleeping, getting chewed, losing shoes and having a wild baby shark dog. My husband found Off Leash K9 training and we decided to invest in the 2 week training program. We met with our training instructor Alex C. in San Diego, Ca and after our first meeting we saw a change in our dogs behavior. Alex is an amazing trainer, he was and still is always available to answer any of our questions and give us tips with training. When the day came to drop her off for the 2 week training, I felt comfortable and confident that our dog would get the best training. During the 2 week training Alex sent us videos and pictures of her progress. I think our dog was living her best life when she was staying with Alex. When we picked her up, Alex spent time teaching us everything our dog learned. Alex is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We are very happy with the training he provided and we feel that our family will now be able to have a normal life with a well behaved dog. Our dog is a totally different dog. She no longer bites, runs off with our shoes, or jumps on people or kitchen counters and the best part is that she doesn't run off as soon as we open the door. Alex is the best! Thank you for all of your help! We highly recommended Alex! read more

Hello I had the great pleasure of having Cole Train my six month old Cane Corso. We decided to do the two week board training and let me tell you we are beyond satisfied. Cole kept me updated with daily pictures and videos of her progress. I have to say I was a little nervous leaving my puppy for two weeks but Cole showed great care and love for my pup. I can honestly say that she was in the best hands possible. When it came time for the transition I was nervous because I wasn't sure if she was going to listen to me. Cole walked me through an amazing training and I was ready to train her at home as well. Every day after work I work with her for about 40 minutes to an hour. And in addition to training her I've been bringing along my three-year-old golden doodle who has been picking up some great tips. I have two more dogs and my German shorthaired pointer is going to be in some need of training when my boyfriend comes back from deployment. We definitely will use Cole again for his great skills and commitment to his craft. I've already recommended him to friends and family. Now I keep raving about Cole but I have to tell you my entire experience with this company has been amazing from beginning to end. I would recommend them and their trainers to anybody because I can tell everyone is passionate about what they do here. Not only is your dog trained properly but you get all the information you need for your success in the future. Our trainer was Danielle and she was a extremely knowledgeable, genuinely cared and professional in our experience with our 1 year old Husky. Our dog did not listen to us despite all our efforts and walks and trips in public were a total nightmare. It has just been two days since we got Ryzen back and he is a totally transformed dog. We learned to use the e-collar she provided along with instructions we were shown in person and through video guides after we got our dog back. I must say that he has required almost no corrections and is just listening to commands without using the collar 95% of the time which was way more than we expected. We have two cats at home and I used the correction just once and he seems to have learned to stay away almost immediately! Using the place command, I am also able to get him onto our bed for sleepy time without having to pick him up too lol! Car rides (2 so far) that we took have shown incredible change too. He just gets into the car on his own (he would never do that) and then lays down until we arrive. I would recommend Danielle to other Husky owners in a heart beat after our experience. read more

Our experience with OLK9 has been fantastic. Our dog, Zoey spent a one week board and train with Heather. The results are amazing. I am now able to walk Zoey with NO pulling. She heels and stays at my side while on long walks. We are now able to take Zoey out with us and enjoy lunch on a patio while Zoey patiently waits. (This never happened before. We couldn't take Zoey anywhere!) This training has been a life changer! No more darting out the door when it's opened and she no longer jumps on guests when they arrive. I love how much more calm Zoey appears-the structure is just what she needed. Heather was super helpful when Zoey was returned to us -taking a couple of hours to patiently walk us through all we needed to be successful at home. I would highly recommend Heather and OLK9 training. read more

10/10 cannot recommend this enough! We sent our 6 month puppy to Jordan for the 2 week "Community K9" program and he is completely transformed afterwards. Prior to the training, I struggled to walk him because he was so strong and stubborn but I am now able to walk him through a crowded area without any stress.
