While the vehicle driven by the owner for our pictures was great, service was perfect, etc., our shuttle service could not have gone worse. The shuttle only operated for about 2.5 of the 4 hours we paid for it to operate. The hours it neglected to service our guests were the hour before our ceremony started and the last pickup of the night after our reception - so the most popular times to need a shuttle (duh). The shuttle was supposed to operate until 6:15, but guests waiting as early as 5:30 were left waiting for a shuttle that never came. When my coordinator called the driver and owner to ask where they were, the calls were not answered and then eventually they told us no shuttle was coming and to tell the 20 people waiting to jump in cabs. Mind you at the point of us calling, our ceremony hadn't started 25 minutes after it should have, as very important guests like my husbands parents were among those waiting. The guests found their way over and all paid for cabs out of pocket, mother of the groom arrived crying to walk her son down the aisle, and everything ran 30-35 minutes behind schedule as a result. Food sat for 30 minutes before we were ready and seated, we had 30 minutes less on the dance floor, 30 minutes less of the other services we booked like the photobooth... you get it, it was a big hiccup. Service at the end of the night was also incomplete - did two one mile trips and went home for the night before our time we paid for, wouldn't answer his phone! Thanks for nothing! For sake of completion I will note that I tried to resolve this with the owner before leaving a bad review, and be reimbursed for what I felt was a fair portion of the $800 we paid for this portion of the services. The owner took no responsibility and told me there were more expensive jobs they could have booked and I should just be happy they showed up at all :) I was refunded a small amount but it was not at all a fair amount given the situation. I'd look elsewhere!

We selected Cloud9 limo for a 25 person passenger bus for our wedding in September 2018…read more I actually did some extensive online research for limo/bus companies that serviced the west suburbs of Chicago and Cloud9 was one of the most attractive ones that would fit our needs due to (1) good pricing (2) great quality of the selection of transportation options (newer vehicles/buses). They are a legitimate company as some other limos do not even have a decent website or seem to have an address and what gave me comfort in selecting them is that they were always responsive/available whether it was by phone or email. Roberto was our driver and he was there on time. He texted me from his phone once he arrived at the hotel. He arrived 15 min earlier than planned which is always a great thing. He such a nice gentleman and ensured that we were all good/ready before we took off from one location to another. Overall, he was/is a great driver as we had about 20 people in the bus and it was a smooth ride. He delivered us timely and safely from all of our locations/destinations. Our evening driver threatened to leave our remaining guests, wedding party, bride & groom because he did not read the schedule provided by our wedding planner & AGAIN thought he had not been paid when he had. I am giving 1 star for the clean & pretty trolley, but the humans involved made for an honestly terrible overall experience. I would NEVER recommend Cloud9 for an important event. Our major issue with Cloud9 was attempting to pay them, despite a contract & down payment from us. They make prepaying quite inconvenient, so we figured with everything else going on, no big deal we will hand them a card on the day. We tried to do this, however, they had no way to accept payment, were not able to process the apple card & therefore wanted to take pictures of our credit card & IDs (uncomfortable). They then demanded a different card, which we provided. However since we had now provided my Father in Laws card & the ID was my husbands, they had a melt down about this as well instead of calming solving it. They angrily called our wedding planner incessantly. Yelled at members of our wedding party, including the groom, during photos. After this was "resolved" & paid (keeping in mind that they are walking away with digital images of our IDs & credit cards..) this information was not communicated with our evening driver, who was AGAIN demanding payment from my Father in Law in front of a trolley full of guests. The driver even THREATENED TO LEAVE our remaining guests, wedding party, bride & groom because he thought he had not been paid when he had & he ALSO had our scheduled times wrong. My Father in Law had to pull up his account statement & show it to the driver in order for him to take us home AT THE CONTRACTED & PAID FOR TIME. Our venue closed at 12, we scheduled our additional two hour time (for MORE MONEY, a part of our signed contract from months before the wedding) from 10:15-12:15. The driver insisted that we should have been back at the hotel by 12 & again threatened to leave. All of this, coupled with an unfriendly, bleeding morning driver leads me to this review. The trolley itself was beautiful, it is a shame that it was absolutely ruined by our experience with Cloud9 employees. Do NOT entrust them with any important events. Additional: 1. Including a screenshot of the "payment options" sent to us, with no "easy and fast online pre-pay" option. The FIRST card provided was given WITH a matching ID. Your company was unable to process this apple card due to outdated & lacking payment processing options. Therefore in the scramble of our wedding day, we provided a NEW card for YOUR convenience & did not update the ID that had previously been given. 2. These raised voice conversations occurred outside of the trolley and/or when no music was playing at all. It did not "come across as yelling" it was raised voice, aggressive yelling. 3. We informed the driver of the blood on his head. He was unconcerned & did not attend to the situation. Regardless of why or how this injury occurred, I consider in unacceptable to have uncovered blood at my wedding or in any other public or professional setting. Calls were in fact placed to our coordinator & our driver DID threaten to leave. You were not there. I was.

The rate was very reasonable for three runs to and from the hotel. Chris also came through when we had a last-minute cancellation from a different vendor, taking the wedding party back to a different location in the city.
