The name Odell's doesn't make one think of bagels. This place is delicious with a great friendly staff and lovely inside. I love that you can have two different half open faced toppings. I tried the pastrami locks and nova locks. Both had fresh dill, onions, and capers on top along with cream cheese, of course. Can't wait to go back and try other options. read more

I lived in New Jersey and have been trying to find a comparable bagel to NJ and NYC and Denver. Until today that was not achieved but I can honestly say that Odell's Bagel is the best bagel I have ever had! Not only can you choose two different toppings for half your bagels but the ingredients are all so fresh! Although there was a line out the door, you get in and out quickly. The open concept is also great to be able to see them prep your bagel. 10/10 recommend! read more

Second time here. Unfortunately found this thick white hair BAKED INTO the bagel. Make your staff wear hair nets please Would rate this a 0 if I could. $12.50 for a bagel is fine if it's good quality, but not if it's unsanitary. Can guarantee I will not be going back & will be telling others to avoid. read more

Odell's Bagel - Bacon egg and cheese with a hair baked into it - Bagels Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Love this place! We literally drive down from Loveland to get bagels from here. Having super high quality fish and delicious ingredients just makes us love everything about it. Our 9 y.o. Son is obsessed with sushi and constantly talks about this place. read more

This is hands down the best bagel in Denver. No question. Not sure how you could possibly make a bagel any better. Highly recommend!!

If you love waiting extra long like most Denver restaurant, this is your place. Took 45 min for two bagels with cream cheese while only 2 people were eating in the entire establishment. They had about 6 workers with their heads all in the clouds. Highly don't recommend. read more

Fantastic little spot. We spend a while talking to Zack and he was informative personable and fun. We will always come back.

The one star is for customer service, not the bagels. It takes me 40 minutes round trip to buy bagels at Odell's. Two weeks ago on a Sunday drove there and requested 4 everything bagels and two cinnamon raisin bagels. The next morning I saw that I was not given cinnamon raisin bagels but some type of savory bagels. OK, I will call, But you cannot call as there is no store phone number. OK, i will go on website and email. I have sent 3 emails from the website with no response. read more

As someone who grew up in Jersey and out here since 1997, I have been starving for an extremely close-by GREAT bagel place. Tired of the good ones. Mission now accomplished. But, even if you personally have to drive farther to it, you should. And, finding good, fresh seafood taste in our landlocked state is also hard at more simpler places like Odell's. Mission two accomplished. We went at 845am on a Saturday. Line to the outside door, but it moved very fast. They are efficient behind the counter, and I noticed several people doing multiple, crossover jobs in unity. Every person who came in contact with a customer had a true smile on their face. Line was outside by the time we left, and I hear they eventually run out of bagels every single day. You order and can stand, or they have bar seating that seemed to consistently open up. Hot sauces available, with good variety of types. High energy environment without being annoying. Water station and things to buy while waiting. The owner apparently came from chef training and Michelin brand background, and it showed in the food. Pretty sure he was back there prepping stuff while we were there. Open kitchen, so you see everything that is being done, which is cool. They had a cooler with drinks and cream cheese, and I assume that will expand as time goes by. Limited selection for now, but unique options, I will say. I got the Pastrami Lox on everything bagel, and wife got the tuna and salmon roe, both on furikake. She was smarter than me and split it up. I recommend that you also split it up and get half and half for variety. I already have my pumpernickel bacon egg cheese with Calabrian cream cheese order in my head for next time. And something else, because remember I will be splitting it up. The place is a little pricey (my whole bagel was $17), but once you bite into the order, your taste buds understand the high-level ingredients this place is using. Totally worth the price. I highly recommend Odell's and see you there... read more

Move over CYM, Leroy's, powerhouse, etc...there's a new bagel place on this side of town and it puts you all to shame! These are some high quality insanely delicious and incredibly unique bagels with a Japanese twist (if you so choose). If bagels were awarded Michelin stars I think Odell's has a good shot at it. Yes they're pricier, but well worth the extra $. Arrived on a Saturday around 9am to a bustling but efficiently run shop, smelling wonderful, and greeted by friendly staff where I had to make a tough choice on a menu with soooo many choices. I went full Japanese style send and got a furikake bagel half hamachi and half salmon roe. We grabbed a counter seat and watched the staff work their efficient magic. Partner had the pastrami lox on everything. All of it was a delightful mix of flavors on the palate. Already planning my next 6 orders. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!! read more

I went here 1 time and it was excellent. Since then, I have taken the time to drive there 5 times and each time they were out of the Hamachi. Granted a couple of those times I went at 10:30-11. Ok maybe it was too late even though they are open until 1. Today I went at 8:45 and again they were out of the Hamachi. I am not even visiting on busy weekends. Each time it has been a Wed, Thurs or Friday. Every time it seemed like the staff was indifferent that they were out. I will not try my luck again. read more

Bagels was delish, good service, it's always busy there and they do great. Small on the inside but they have outdoor area, super recommended! read more

Top tier - so glad this has opened in Denver. Bagels are great but the fish and the quality, attention to detail, etc. are what sets Odell's apart. Excellent. read more

Not worth the hype. Rosenbergs is significantly better if you're looking for a bagel shop in Denver. They were out of cheese and had to substitute cream cheese for everything and my bagel was totally stale. read more

I was a little disappointed they don't have tomato slices as a topping but this bagel made up for it immediately!! Really really good. Service was super quick too and I loved their open kitchen. Will definitely be returning read more

this is my favorite bagel spot! the bagel quality is insane and the fish tastes fresh. even when there's a line, you're not waiting that long for your food! the negative reviews on here are whack. read more

Got rid of their best cream cheese I guess because they're in Denver, and Denver insists on being a mediocre food city for eternity. Also they neither have veggie cream cheese nor any sweet cream cheeses, and they're a BAGEL place... read more

They got rid of their Calabrian chili garlic cream cheese aka the best thing on their menu... what are we doing here?? Their egg and cheeses are very mediocre - their cheese blend is kinda odd and funky tasting for said sandwiches. Anyway, bring back the cc garlic schmear!!! read more

27 minute wait for a bagel with cream cheese that was decent but nothing special. No matter how cool you are with fancy Hamachi toppings, service trumps all, and that ain't gonna cut it. read more

Call Your Mother bagels up the road is certainly these guys' older brother. Nonetheless, solid.

Perfect. Everything was so delicious and it's just on another level. The hamachi was my favorite but both lox preparations were great too. Already want to come back for more! read more

Unpopular opinion: for the 45 minute wait and the $50 bill for bagels for 2, I think I'd rather go to Rosenberg's. It was good, just not my favorite in town read more

These bagels are delicious with an outside layer that is crisp with some chew. The insides are a smidge dry. This is an area for improvement. You likely won't notice if you opt for a sandwich or aren't as picky as me. The bacon, egg and cheese on everything is elevated with expertly cooked eggs and bacon that will set you back $12.50, and easily the best in town. The portion is generous. The cheese was another standout, and although it was American, it was another level American cheese. The ingredients are top notch and it is easy to taste the difference from places around town. No pre-made egg patties or brittle/flabby bacon here. I am ruined for sesame seed bagels now as the salted sesame is perfection at Rich Spirit. The light addition of salt improves sesame bagels significantly. The classically prepared sesame bagel here is damn good though. The everything bagel seasoning is perfection. It was busy but it wasn't overly crowded when we were there early in the morning on a Sunday. It took about 10 minutes or so for our sandwiches to be done. It was a very reasonable wait, especially for the quality. And it is a very nice atmosphere in the shop that played ambient upscale music. It was fun to watch the experts in the kitchen crank out the goods while we waited. It is impressive what they've done to transform this space from the former bakery. Of course, it would be nice if the lobby was bigger. There is additional seating outside but it was pretty cold to be eating outside the morning we were there and the location doesn't receive sun in the morning. Odell's is a great addition that is clearly run by people who love food. read more

Great bagels! Maybe best in the neighborhood? Quick service. I really appreciate that they have vegan cream cheese, it's not my favorite vegan cc option out there but given most bagel shops don't even offer something vegan I'll take it! read more

Nice place, not so sure about how fresh the bagels were. My bagels to go were hard. It could also be the way they were showcased and the wind hitting... will have to try it again read more

BEST bagel creations I've ever seen. Salmon roe?! HAMACHI?! With freshly grated wasabi?! Everything is carefully prepared with so much attention and detail. And holy crap, the house made plum jam with the fresh basil... i am speechless. The bagels are NY level. The toppings are premium quality and well worth the price. Odell's is THE bagel spot in Denver. read more

Odell's Bagel - Lox & CC, hamachi, plum jam, salmon roe - Bagels Near Me - Denver, Colorado

40 dollars for 2 average bagels. If you want a bagel "call your mother" puts this place in the dirt.

Bagels are good but you will be eating next to the worst people in Denver. 10$ bagel is pretty wack

An excellent addition to the neighborhood! Friendly staff, quick service, but the star of the show is of course the bagels. An underrated quality of Odell's is the option to have a filling brunch (lox, whitefish, egg & cheese, etc. sandwiches) or the more cost-effective bagel & schmear - still an amazing breakfast. Can't wait to enjoy them on the patio this summer! read more

Worth the wait! The bacon egg and cheese was absolutely top notch. The bacon was very high quality and delicious. Even though the price is a little expensive I thought it was soooo worth it! Can't wait to go again! read more

Ive never really understood when people talk about the integrity of bagels and their composition but when I tried an Odell's bagel I was like, OH I get it. I've had the plain, everything, and furikake and they were all amazing. The white fish is to die for and the plum jam is so cozy and perfectly sweet. I can't wait to try their other offerings. read more

i got the rosemary bagel with vegan cream cheese. the vegan cream cheese is made in house and was super yummy! the rosemary bagel was also delicious and surprisingly flavorful!
