Just another entry from another outstanding lunch! The pizzas are fairly new along with the calzones. I am here to make sure you all know you will not find pizza like this anywhere in the Triad. The prime rib pizza is "off the chain" Amazing! The flavors explode in your mouth, due to the way he tops the pizza with herbs and a light horseradish sauce. It makes this pizza so delicious. The crust is cooked to perfection Not too doughy and crisp enough. The last time we were here my wife had the margarita pizza and it was also amazing and also not traditional, due to his sauces and spices. That's why you have to come here to try this pizza for sure!! I was so caught up with the pizza I forgot to mention the pasta dish that my friend ordered. She is now an Odeh's groupie. The sauce is how he makes these dishes so wonderful. The seasoning and fresh ingredients and size of this serving will blow you away. What an amazing experience and meal! I found myself at Odeh's after a long day of work and lemme tell you, it put a smile on my face. I was greeted politely and kindly and I immediately felt at home. The service was spectacular. I chatted with the bartender, who's name starts with a C. Lol I waited to long to write my review that I forgot her name (forgive me!!) but she was amazing. Gave excellent suggestions and kept me company at an empty bar. As far as drinks, the rum runner was delightfully sweet and reminded me of the beach. She recommended it for it being one of the best bang for your buck. I then had the Mai tai. First time ever having this classic drink and I wasn't let down. Food: the falafel was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was obvious it was homemade and freshly fried. Falafel has been one of my favorites for years and this was the best I've ever had. I got the mixed shawarma platter to go and it was just as yummy. Immaculate flavors. For dessert, (not pictured), I got the Mediterranean cheesecake topped with strawberries. Omg. Amazing. I'm giving Odeh's 4 stars for the incredible food! I ordered the grilled chicken shish kabob meal which delightfully came which a steak kabob as well that was so tender and delicious! Platter came with two sides and pita with tzatziki sauce (my fav)! Had some wine and ordered the baklava sampler to go! The service was decent. It did take a little bit to get drinks, but once food was served our server became more attentive. The bar looked nice and the only thing that would have put them at a 5 in my opinion was the restaurant interior. It felt more like a fast food style Greek spot vs a sit down dinner vibe. First, I will say the food is very good consistent and good portions. The service from a customer service standpoint was the opposite. We placed an order for lunch and had it delivered. We did not receive the condiments with the food. We called and asked to get what we paid for. The implication was that they would bring the condiment. They did not. We called back and our staff was told that they had the video and that the condiment was put in the bag. Why would you lie about a ramakin of Tahini sauce? So after hearing that my staff was told not to ever come back I drove to the restaurant and asked for the manager. Basically, I was told that I was a lying and that to get the "F" out multiple times ,called disparaging names and never come back again. Then the manager followed me to my car to show me a video of the so called delivery. Our office is about 1 mile from the location and we have eaten there many times before. I have never seen anyone come so unhinged over a sauce. Such a shame, good food but manager has issues! Also no worries I will not be back and will advise others the same. read more

I ordered the chicken shawarma platter. Perfect spice level, very flavorful, and an overall great portion. I will absolutely be coming back. The garlic and tahini sauces were delicious. But to the staff's credit, no one rushed us or made us feel unwelcome. We ordered the couple's special that day which was the Mahi Mahi Gyro on Pita. We chose the sides of sweet potato waffle fries with hummus. I like my food a little spicy so we asked for their house-made hot sauces. Let me tell you, the hot sauces were amazing! And so was the Gyro and the sweet potato fries. We came in for a quick bit, so it was a great pick, although a little messy to eat. Would want to visit again and try another dish soon. read more

Came in for lunch today as I work close by, and those shawarma cravings are some that must be satiated. The menu is expansive and creative, I wish I was more willing to branch away from my beloved mixed shawarma platter... but alas, today was not that day! Fluffy, fragrant rice, piled high with wonderfully seasoned chicken and beef. NO shortness of flavor. The onions and peppers are cooked soft, which I really like. The portion is huge and comes with a little salad on the side and a generous serving of pita! The Greek dressing is clearly made in house, it's fresh, tangy and delicious. The best way to dive in to this affordable platter with a behemoth of a portion? I pile the pita with rice, meat, and veggies. As much as it will possibly hold. Struggle to hold it together and dunk it in the fresh tahini sauce. Take a bite with all the cohesive parts and just savor all these beautiful flavors joining together in perfect harmony. The flavors in this shawarma will live inside your brain, haunting your tastebuds until you fatefully return. That's just how it goes - I don't make the rules. Went during lunch rush hour, the service was great they were able to seat us fairly quickly. Food had very generous portions delicious.

The mixed combo platter with hummus and Greek salad was perfect. The skewers of chicken and beef were grilled to perfection. The hummus and pita bread were on point. I love Odeh's. This restaurant has a 5 star rating for a reason. The food is great, and they are always mixing it up with specials. This was my first time getting to eat inside this local gem. It's a bit bit far from my house, but as I was coming to HP anyway I knew we were going to stop in for lunch. We have been getting takeout during pandemic, but nice to get the full experience. Noticed they have added outside seating, which was a smart call. I have heard amazing things about the Middle Eastern Baked Chicken special. So when it was available, I knew that's what I was ordering. The chicken is marinated in authentic middle eastern spice blend and the dish came with their new middle eastern rice. I was a yellow spiced rice with raisin and nut inclusions. A different taste, but I liked it. It gave it a little sweetness and nice crunch. You also get a big side salad, pita, and cucumber sauce. The chicken was super tender, fell right off the bone. And the flavor with all those spices was divine. I of course had left overs for the next day. My husband got the the Kafta pita (Grilled ground beef mixed with onion, parsley, Odeh's mixed spices, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tahini sauce) with salad and hummus. I nabbed a bite and it was also delicious. Their kafta is great. The meat with all those yummy spices and herbs is just great. The owner Odeh came to our table to see how everything was. You can tell he is very involved in his restaurant, which I believe (on top of real good food) is why it's has a five star rating. Our visit inspired us to place a large catering order a few days later for a recent family gathering. The amount of food was just crazy and everyone raving about how good everything was. In addition to taste, the presentation was also spectacular. We had leftovers for days and the food held up. We got Hummus, Baba ganoush, Rice, Shawarma /lamb gyro , Chicken/beef kabobs, Salad, Cucumber sauce , Tahini, Pita, Baklava cheesecake, and Key lime pie. Tried Odeh's for lunch while working in High Point. Food was good and if I lived closer or am in the area again, I would return. We got there early at 11:30 before the lunch crowd and it still took an hour, so if you are looking for a quick lunch place this is not it. By the time we left at 12:30 it was packed out. The music was a tad too loud during our visit. There is a full bar, so it would be a great date night spot. I had the chicken kabob (medium spicy) with hummus & Greek salad, the raspberry limeade mocktail, and took a slice of blueberry lemon cake to go. The chicken kabob was tender and the flavor was great. I also really liked the raspberry limeade. Personally, I still prefer Sarah's Kabob Shop in Greensboro although I have eaten there several times compared to just one time for Odeh's so it isn't an entirely fair comparison. Odeh's wins out for the actual kabob, but I feel like Sarah's does better with the sides & salad dressing. Sarah's prices are hard to beat and food is much faster, but it is also a more casual place so it really depends on your own personal preferences. read more

What could be better than your first visit to Odeh's? Your 2nd! This place does not have disappoint in their vocabulary. The staff is phenomenal and hard working. My wife and I split a skewer platter and again the chicken was perfect. Very moist and flavorful. Same with the steak. If you haven't had the rosemary fries, shame on you! Order them, eat them, love them. We got an extra side of the red pepper hummus and it was great. Had a little bit of heat which I love. You cannot go wrong eating here or bringing friends and family here. Still haven't tried the desserts, huge fail on my part, but next time look out all you delicious pastries in the front case.... Best Falafel ever! I've never liked any falafel I've tried until now. So crispy and tons of sesame seeds fried to a golden brown. Delicious! I also ordered a Kafta Pita. The kafta is so full of flavor. I loved every bite! The cabbage, lettuce and tomato were the perfect balance to the savory meat. The portion was huge and I could only finish half of it. Another person in our party ordered the hummus appetizer. I may just order this as my entree next time because it was the most delicious hummus I've ever had. This is a great spot for Mediterranean food. It's a small and cozy place run very warmly by the owner Odeh. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We ordered falafel and they were very crispy and well made. We ended up ordering it again as they were so delicious. The gyro platter and on pita were delicious and made to taste. We requested it to be spicy and it was very much according to our taste! The owner came up a few times to check in on us and inquire about the food, and we saw him doing that with all the customers. The servers did the same and it elevated the whole experience. Odeh also offered candies to my lil one for finishing his food. A nice touch! I wanted to try Odeh's based on reviews from my fellow Yelpers. I'm a sucker for good mediterranean/middle eastern food so I was eager to go, especially when I'm sometimes limited to southern cuisine in the South. Ready to head home after running errands, I ordered the small Middle Eastern Salad (add feta) with falafels and a side of hummus. For a small salad it was huge and filling. I couldn't believe the quantity for the price. The falafels were crispy on the outside; soft and flavorful inside. You could tell they were made in house and not the prepaid disks everyone sells. The side of hummus was creamy and flavorful as well I wish I had gotten a larger side (ate it before taking a pic). I could eat the hummus everyday...so good. Whenever the craving for great Mediterranean food hits, there's simply no question I'm going to get food from here (as long as it's not a Sunday or Monday when they're closed). My love for Odeh's began at a Yelp event at Goofy Foot that was catered by Odeh's. I knew then and there this would be a lifelong love. The most common item I order from Odeh's is their small Greek salad. Trust me, you do NOT need to order a large. The portion of the small is plenty and then some for one person. I often add an order of falafel to go with my salad. The produce is always fresh and the falafel is crisp and savory. I would also suggest ordering their tahini base baba ganoush, which I often get by the half pound and dip my falafel in. I would also recommend checking out their specials. The middle eastern baked chicken is fantastic. I also had a dish with a mushroom rosemary sauce that was incredible. If you're wondering why there's no photos it's because I'm never patient enough to take them before I dig in. If you love Mediterranean food, you must check this place out! read more

Ok....I finally made it to the restaurant that everyone on Yelp has been raving about! I definitely see why now! I love the atmosphere, I love how spotlessly clean it is, and I love the servers. Our server was fantastic as she rattled off the specials of the night like a pro. We ordered the Baba Ganoush with pita bread appetizer. It is the best I've ever had. So creamy and full of flavor. Their pita bread tastes like it was just made. I ordered one of the specials: Rigatoni Alla Vodka. She said they don't have it on the menu all the time. Man! Am I glad I got this dish. You can get it meatless, with chicken or shrimp. I decided to go meatless. It was a huge portion and I brought half of it home. It was phenomenal! My friend ordered the prime rib sandwich. That was another special of the night. Once again, huge portion of food! He said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. All of our food tasted freshly made.
