The bill. Not bad.
Anthony L.

Halfway from Virginia to Georgia, somewhere between courage and commitment, we realized we were not yet emotionally prepared to see my mother-in-law. So we did what any seasoned travelers would do -- we pulled into the Embassy for the evening and regrouped. Hungry? Yes. Social? Absolutely not. Grubhub became our lifeline. Odeh's Mediterranean caught my eye and, wallah, the order was placed with the confidence of people who had already decided to stay in pajamas. Forty-five minutes later -- knock. Hot appetizers. Cold Greek salad. A chicken pesto panini and a beef shawarma that smelled like someone in the kitchen actually cared. Delivery was prompt. Food was hot. Spices were not shy. For my bride, the spanakopita was the headline act. The spinach wasn't some polite suggestion tucked into phyllo -- it was a half-inch thick declaration of intent. Bold. Flavorful. Worth writing home about (though we weren't calling anyone that night). The beef was tender and properly seasoned, not drowned in sauce to hide its sins. The baba ghanoush had that smoky depth that makes you slow down and pay attention. They've officially made the favorites list. As to ambiance, I was in my Jammie's with a cocktail and not dealing with humanity, so fantastic. Well worth the wait -- and, frankly, well worth postponing family

Falafel on Pita

Honestly can't believe it took me this long to visit Odeh's Mediterranean Kitchen. I think I may have gotten to go a few years ago but this was my first time dining in. Everything I had was amazing and would definitely order again. I started with the spanakopita. The phyllo dough on top of the spanakopita wasn't crispy but I didn't mind since the spinach and feta filling was so creamy. It would be great to be able to order a side of just creamed spinach. The gyro on pita was huge -- almost too big to hold. It was filled with tzatziki, gyro meat and topped with tomatoes and lettuce then drizzled with oil and vinegar. It was quite filling so I had some leftovers. It came with a bag of chips and you get a choice of three flavors. The bbq ones were very crunchy.

First time here and it was delicious. Plenty of seats and bar seats. The server was very nice and knowledgeable about food. Service was great!! She recommended the wings and they were very delicious. They sauce for the wings taste like a sweet and heat bbq sauce. The kabob platters were good also. Very relax and chill vibes. Overall good quick service! So if you're in the area stop by and give it a try!!!

It had been quite some time since we had visited Odeh's. We had an evening meeting so dinner out was on the agenda and I had been meaning to get back here for some time. I was super happy to immediately stumble upon the arancini appetizer. One of my favorite things so we placed our order! They did not disappoint! We ordered our entrées probably 10 minutes or so after ordering the appetizer however unfortunately everything came out at the same time which is always very disappointing. That's a training opportunity for sure. A simple way to remedy that issue is waitresses should be trained not to enter the entrée order until the appetizer hits the table. I was in restaurant management for many years and this is just a pet peeve of mine and it's just irritating filling rushed through a meal. By the time we got to our entrées they were not particularly warm. Our waitress was nice, if not a little too attentive. The food was delicious and we ended up getting boxes for lunch the next day due to the generous portion sizes. That was a nice bonus! Saved me packing up the next day's lunches when I got home! There were a nice selection of desserts from their sister business around the corner. I was tempted by the pistachio baklava but maybe next time. I've seen online that they recently started doing brunch as well so that may be our next venture in.

Good place to eat with friends. Food was good. I tried the kabob platter with two sides. My meat was cooked medium well. My sides were rosemary fries!!! (can you believe that) and pasta salad. It came with a white sauce that is creamy, the sauce was neutral. The meat was cooked right but the meat was seasoned too light it didnt have much flavoring. For appetizer I had chicken wings, there delicous and they serve them fresh and hot!! The staff was quick to greet and be of service. Expect groups of 3 to 6. There is also a bar with tvs here if you want to have some drinks with friends and watch some sports. Will try there other menu items in the future.

I don't get to High Point very often but when I get a chance, I always stop by Odeh's. Odeh's in a snapshot -- casual, friendly and flavorful. The menu is extensive but I stick to the Mediterranean cuisine, that's the real star here. Hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, spanakopita, etc Great place for a come as you are quick bite or take out and the service is friendly and efficient!

Still the best food in the Triad. Always great service too. Tonight I had the Kafta platter. It as delicious, like nothing I've had before. The spices make it unique.

Back here after a very long time, too long! Just brilliant tasty food served up hit and fresh and it all looks amazing when your plate is set on the table. They are so friendly and efficient and fast. I love the expansion here with so much more seating and a full bar. Tuesday night and this place was packing those tables in. Which I just love for this restaurant. Odeh is around keeping an eye on things and bringing me my tzatziki when I needed it. My shwarma chicken platter was so good, the rice, chicken cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Grilled veggies and mixed salad and pita. So much food and great bang for your buck. My friends enjoyed their prime rib sandwich with hummus and pita chips and Caesar salad . Also the steak and veggie sub with onion rings . All of it here is top grade and the variety on the menu is insane. Mediterranean and the pizza and pasta . Great cocktail list as well and a wine list. This place has some of the best food in the area and you can tell. Well done to this staff and insanely well run establishment I won't be gone this long next time !

So my husband and I have heard that we needed to give it a try! We showed on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised they were surviving brunch! I saw French toast from across the restaurant and new I needed it in my life! I was right! Omg yum! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and I took one bite and waved down our incredible waiter CJ and I ordered my own! It was real sausage gravy over the yummest biscuit. My only complaint was you only get one biscuit not two. We also were almost finished before we got our over medium egg. Honestly we normally wouldn't eat the biscuits and gravy without an egg or two over the top but in this case we had to literally stop ourselves from eating to wait for it! It was so delicious. Ohhhhh yeah and I told my husband we needed to come back so we could try the Mediterranean food that we originally went for! So we went back on Wednesday! The wings oh my goodness the wings we had to excuse ourselves to wash up after eating them they were unbelievably good! The Jalapeño poppers were out of this world yummy! The ranch dressing I couldn't get enough yum! I had the keftedes and they were very good as well. It clean friendly and full of life! The bar area looks beautiful!

I love the gryo shawarma.
Gail C.

Not much for the ambiance, but so much for get service and great tasting food. The gryo shawarma was moist and tender. The sweet potato fries had a touch of salt and a drizzle of honey. The homemade desserts are incredible. I believe this is the most popular, best tasting neighborhood restaurant. It has all the feels, a bar and non Mediterranean options. I will be back, as usual once a week.

Decided to try this out after being on my list for a while! The hummus with pita appetizer was delicious! Perfectly flavorful and smooth, with warm, yummy pita bread. It was a lot of hummus so we ended up getting another side of pita to finish it off. Definitely would do it again. The chicken shawarma platter was great, but the rest of the menu looked so delicious I would probably try a few other things before returning to it. The menu seems to be expanding which is always good! I will definitely be back to try more options!

Been hearing about this place for a while now, not sure why it took me so long to finally try it but it was so good! Will definitely be returning. I got the beef shish kabobs and the meat was so juicy and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the rice and side salad. Everything tasted fresh and made to order, I really had a great experience. The food came out very quickly and the waitress was very friendly and was good at checking in on me. Great atmosphere too, it's packed during lunch time, which is always a good sign.

This place is amazing! I've been here twice, once for pickup and the other for dine in. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar as the wait was pretty extensive, even on a weeknight! There's a nice pickup area where the bakery is. There's also a dining area, and nice bar. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend ordered the Prime Rib Pizza which was absolutely delicious. Extremely unique and flavorful! I had the Shawarma platter which was huge! I loved all the rice and salad. The seasonings were on point! The sauces are delicious here. I've also had the chicken kabobs which were a touch spicy for me but juicy and tender. Highly recommend this spot, I can see why it's a fan favorite.

We didn't have reservations but were seated right away, which made for an easy start to the evening. The space has a modern, relaxed vibe that feels perfect for a casual dinner or drinks. They were topped with lobster, bacon, scallions, and a creamy sauce: rich, indulgent, and great for sharing. For the main dish, I had the Ribeye steak with a side of cauliflower mash. The steak had a nice sear and great flavor, and the cauliflower mash was smooth, creamy and delicious, making it a great alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. A solid first visit with flavorful dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. Earl's Landing is a great new addition to the downtown High Point dining scene, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.
