The space is open and inviting, with a big bar and a cool back area complete with a stage. We did some flights and nearly every beer on tap. I had Moondoor Dunkel because I love the dark beers. It was a nice Dunkel. The taproom space was very loud. There is no sound dampening at all so it was really hard to carry on a conversation. It was too cold and drizzly to sit outside as we would have moved otherwise. We sat near the door to the brewhouse. There were employees periodically entering and exiting the door. Whenever that happened there was a very unpleasant waft of off smell. It did not smell like wort or fermentation but more methane like. We finished our beers and headed out.

The nitro stout was solid too, nice and smooth. I also got the California chicken sandwich and it hit the spot. The roasted red pepper mayo made it. Fries were hot and crispy, no complaints there. Lastly, HUGE SHOUT OUT to the bartender SAIJA! So welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Quickly made great beer and menu recommendations while balancing a full bar! I guarantee whatever you're paying her isn't enough, give that girl a raise! It's in kind of an industrial area but somehow still has a really chill, neighborhood vibe. Just felt like an easy place to hang out. I'd come back.

The Accidental Brewery Stop That Felt Like Home…read more Sometimes the best brewery visits are the ones you weren't even planning. I was wandering around Brighton during the first Denver Broncos game of the season and randomly thought, "Let's try this brewery today." That little decision turned into one hell of a find. Something Brewery has that laid~back, industrial taproom vibe that immediately makes you want to pull up a stool and stay awhile. The beer lineup gave me plenty to explore, but honestly, the people are what sealed the deal. John behind the bar was absolutely crushing it~friendly, energetic, welcoming, and exactly the kind of beertender who makes a first~time visitor feel like a regular. Everyone around the place had that same welcoming energy. And then there's the arcade room. Yeah... this place understands the assignment. You can battle it out over live~action Battleship for a chance to win a FREE ROUND, grab crowlers, enjoy the on-site wood-fired pizza, and apparently make a whole afternoon/evening out of it. They also rotate local food trucks on weekends, and the BYO~food policy means you can grab something from nearby and bring it in. The taproom has character, the beer delivers, the people are fantastic, and the atmosphere feels genuinely community-driven. And I haven't even experienced the huge outdoor patio yet. So apparently I accidentally found another place I'm going to have to come back to. Something Brewery: sometimes you don't find the brewery... the brewery finds you.

We decided to take a drive to their Arvada location on a whim, and thought it was terrific. My wife and I each had a couple of beers to suit our palates, and fed our puppy dog treats while the place slowly filled up with what I assume were mostly regular patrons - the very friendly and pleasant beertender knew many of them by name. The beer list was pretty much the same as at the other location, a good variety of German styles, several IPAs, some light lagers. The service was prompt and friendly. Many of the customers stopped to pet our 8 month old puppy. The patio is terrific - partially lined with Astroturf so customers' four legged friends have a comfy spot to lie down, with rotating food trucks daily. We'll gladly return here the next time the winds blow us to this side of town.

They took over the spot that was formerly Sanitas Brewing when they closed a few months ago. Nothing really has changed, so it's nice to be back! Location is prime right off foothills and Pearl. I started with a half and half of their Mexican Lager & Grapefruit Radler. They had a great balance and crisp taste. My friend got the Mai Thai Lager off their "Mischief Menu", which had more cocktail-type beers. They were very tasty concoctions! Next up I had to try the Horchata, which had a very unique taste and cinnamon sugar rim. We had the horchata lager and the Mai tai lager. Don't be tricked like we were by the Mai tai lager being listed as "with nuts", it uses an almond syrup so that just warns people with nut allergy's not to drink that one. I preferred the horchata, my husband preferred the Mai tai. Both were excellent, but I thought the Mai tai tasted more citrusy than like an actual Mai tai. The horchata tasted spot on though- I would get that all the time. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back to try more beers.
