octopus is pretty efficient and quick, and decently prices. that said, the are not thorough - I have had times where they leave and we still had to sweep, or clean smudges off a wall, or dust. they also don't clean everything - like the dust / debris in the track of sliding doors or front doors always stay dirty and never get addressed. perhaps the worst issue with octopus is that they are careless with your things. they broke multiple items in my home during the months I tried them, didn't always tell me about it, and their response was never satisfactory. I switched to another cleaner a few months ago who is a little more costly, but in the same amount of time gets my house WAY cleaner. never have to repeat any cleaning, and they never break stuff. new cleaners are way nicer, and take so much more care with our things and space. read more

I had them do a deep cleaning and was VERY impressed with the results -- as advertised they cleaned baseboards, blinds, switches and faceplates, vacuumed furniture thoroughly, etc. They cleaned the oven (my word it sparkles!), refrigerator, front of the stove and dishwasher etc -- all the things I never have time for -- and moreover as 3 of them came at once and divided up the house they did all the rooms so that they all are as clean as they have ever been.
