I just want to inform the people of Yelp that after nearly 5 years, we are still using Ruiz Cleaning Service for our home and we love it. They are so wonderful, trustworthy, kind, and professional. I recommend everyone here and I'll keep doing it b/c we have been so happy with them. read more

We have been using Ruiz Cleaning Services for almost 7 years now, and they have helped us ever since we were in a one-bedroom apartment, then a two-bedroom, and now our house. Mauricio is always super professional and friendly in scheduling. The cleaning professionals who come are efficient, organized, and clean so much better than I ever could. We mostly have Reyna as our cleaning professional, but when she was on leave we've had others and are always very happy with the results. Mauricio has also helped us when my Granny had to be transitioned to long term care and her house was empty for a few months. Ruiz Cleaning Service truly worked miracles there and our family could not have been more grateful during a super stressful time. Communications are mostly in text, but also super responsive to calls. read more

Mauricio and his team are great! I've used them for one time deep cleans, regular monthly cleans and even for a commercial job at my office. Mauricio is very responsive for booking and his team is prompt, trustworthy and does a thorough job. read more

Mauricio and his staff are responsible, reliable and trustworthy. We've been working with them for over four years and with weekly visits we've never been disappointed. House is always sparkling afterwards! Friendly and professional too. Would highly recommend. read more

One of the best investments I've ever made. With two kids with special needs and my wife and I working full-time jobs, with more than three hours a day commuting, we need all the help we can get. A cleaning service makes a huge difference: it improves the quality of our lives, and reduces stress and strife. We've tried many cleaning services over the years--from the big franchises to solo workers--but sooner or later we run into problems. Some are too expensive, some are inconsistent, and others just don't care enough. But with Ruiz Cleaning Services, we've had nothing but GREAT experiences since we first contacted Mauricio. They clean our house once a week. I know folks like to say they keep their house neat and the cleaners don't have much to do. Well we do *try* to keep our house neat, but we don't often succeed. All too often it's a LOT of work. Yet Ruiz Cleaning Services always do a great job. They tidy everything, strip and make all the beds, vacuum and mop the floors, clean all surfaces, and make everything look beautiful--even the way they place the cushions on the couch. They also do more intensive cleans when we ask. For example, cleaning windows when needed. For all this we pay $100 a week. It's not cheap, but it's great value. After all, they don't just clean my house, they keep the whole household happy and harmonious! read more

Excellent cleaning team, and very reasonable prices. Very satisfied customer. Cleaning team is kind and professional

This is a difficult review to write. I had used this service for over a year. The cleaning itself was fine, they were always on time. The real problems are with property going missing, cables for my electronics always moved and often disconnected. Even though I brought this up to the owner, these problems continued. The biggest issue and my last with this company is missing prescription medications including narcotics that I use for pain and sleep. When I contacted Mr Ruiz he became defensive and clearly did not take this incident seriously. This is a MAJOR issue and should have resulted in a thorough investigation by the owners. But they were clearly not interested in finding out which of their employees stole the meds. Only in denials and covering their backsides. As a single man, never home when they come, trust is of the upmost importance. They repeatedly violated this trust and as a result I could never recommend them to anyone unless you are there at all times to supervise and watch the cleaners. Not very reassuring. I liked the owner personally, hence 2 stars but really should be 1 star. Stealing is NEVER EVER ok read more

My home feel wonderful when I arrive after my cleaning service. I feel comfortable with the 2 cleaning ladies that have started at my place since day one. They are very nice and neat. Mauricio is definitely flexible and understanding, he will work around your schedule, which make it easier for us as we work most of the time. The ladies usually spend about 2 hours for my house, our house is in good condition, but just messy here and there, and its nice to have it look nice and organized after the ladies visit :) I am so glad to have them come over every 3 weeks to help me to clean the house while we dont have time to do that. The staffs are nice and friendly, easy to work with. I hope we can maintain the service for a long long term because switching any home-related service can be tough in term of trust and understanding the expectation. I highly recommend them! Give him a call, he will come by and give you an instant quote, which I did start right away the following week! read more

I love this service, fast and low price. Good job every two weeks. Efficient and the owner is the best person to have you help get your business or home clean. I highly recommend. read more

We have been using Ruiz cleaning for a few years. Have had great service. We have used them not only for weekly cleaning, but for deep cleaning a rental when we left. I really think they are a great, family run, local business. Super trustworthy, I have never had a single instance of anything going wrong. My wife feels the same way (she also wrote a review but for some reason not showing up on here). Anyway, they do great job and I have and will continue to recommend them. read more

My mom was coming to visit, so I was looking desperately for a house-cleaning service, having been unhappy with our previous experience (the LAST time my mom visited). I looked here on Yelp, and saw reviews that I trusted for Ruiz Cleaning Service. It's owned by Mauricio and his wife. Mauricio came by to give us an estimate, which was very reasonable given the state and size of the house. The two people who came stayed well past the three hours (but didn't charge us), and did a beautiful job. Well, and my husband slept through the doorbell, so they WAITED outside for a good 30 minutes to boot (we still feel horrible about that). Once INSIDE, they really did a beautiful, thorough job. I hadn't considered regular cleaning help before, but we're going to try monthly service. I'd really recommend them! read more

We've used Mauricio and his team for four years now, based on a recommendation from a friend. They've been nothing but reliable and on-time. We don't use them for deep-cleaning, so I don't expect white glove treatment for the monthly rate we pay. What I get is trustworthy service that helps reset our home to neat and clean every four weeks. read more

I can't say enough good things about Ruiz Cleaning Service. I have my house cleaned every other week, and they are incredibly reliable. They always show up when they say they will, and do an excellent job cleaning (way better than I could ever do myself). They take great care of my house and were even willing to fulfill ad-hoc requests like wiping down my outdoor patio table each time. I leave my key in a lockbox for them and am never home when they're there. I feel totally comfortable letting them in my house when I'm not there - they've proven to be completely trustworthy. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a regular cleaning service. read more

I really appreciate the hard work and cleanliness. I have had Ruiz cleaning come to my house twice a month for few months now! Each time they clean my house for over 3 hours and are always on time and punctual. The owner, Mauricio, is so kind and thoughtful. He always listens to my requests and accommodates me. If I don't like the way something is cleaned, I let him know and he immediately informs his workers and they follow my request. Overall this is a great cleaning company, and I recommend them to all my family and friends. I could never have cleaned my place the way they do! read more

We hired Mauricio about a year ago to start cleaning our home in Walnut Creek. From the get go, he was extremely responsive, professional, and accommodating. He worked within our budget and his team does a fantastic job cleaning our home every couple of weeks. They always show up on our scheduled date and are thorough with their cleaning. You can tell Mauricio's business means a lot to him and it shows with his customer service and his cleaning team's work. Him and his team allow me to enjoy my weekends so I don't have to worry about cleaning for hours!! read more

I needed someone to clean my apartment right before Thanksgiving so I gave Ruiz cleaning a call. Mauricio came by the same day and gave me an estimate. He was very friendly and we had the girls come out the next day for our first cleaning. Wow! I never thought my apartment could be so spotless! Teresa and Silvia have been steadily cleaning our apartment since November and they do an AMAZING job. If I had my way, they would be cleaning every week! Mauricio is so easy to get a hold of and very flexible when we need to switch our days or skip a week. He's genuinely kind and a wonderful business owner. read more

We have been very happy with Ruiz Cleaning Service. We have been using their services for over a year, ever since we moved to Walnut Creek. Mauricio is one of the main reasons we chose Ruiz Cleaning Service. He is personable, attentive, and responsive. My husband and I are always very happy with how great our home looks and how clean our place is after each cleaning. We love supporting a local, family business that does a great job. Ruiz Cleaning Service is VERY trustworthy. We are routinely not home when the cleaning is performed and we have never had any issue with missing property or disconnected electronics. We have NEVER felt the need to put away our valuables. We will continue to happily use the services of Ruiz Cleaning Service, and we highly recommend them. read more

Cliche to say, but if i could give Mauricio and his team 6 stars i would. Ruiz Cleaning has been cleaning our house for close to a year now and I can't imagine not using them. Mauricio is incredibly responsive, friendly and always finds a way to fit us in on short notice. They clean when we are not home, work around us if my husband and I have to work from home and have even worked around a contractor who was doing work at our home. They are incredibly trustworthy, pleasant to work with AND do a phenomenal job at cleaning. I pride myself on having a clean house, but moving into a larger home and more hectic schedule didn't allow me to keep up. Mauricio and his team clean every detail and I am always pleased with the results. This may be standard for cleaning services, but they will make the beds with clean sheets and fold any laundry you have in the dryer. My husband hates putting pillow cases and duvets back on the bedding so this was a HUGE plus for him. read more

I have use Ruiz Cleaning Service for 12 years now and am extremely happy with their service. The are very reliable and responsive to special request. They do an excellent job cleaning (much better than me), especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. I highly recommend them. Marianne, Oakland, CA read more

So we were listing our house for sale and we needed a good cleaning company to come in and clean the house in preparation for our first broker's tour. Mauricio, the owner called me back promptly and set up an appointment to look at the house and see what needed to be done. He came over within a day and we set up an appointment. The house was cleaned a few days later and they did a great job and the house sparkled and shined once it went up on the market. Thanks Mauricio for being so professional and doing such a great job! read more

We have known and trusted Mauricio and Remedios to help keep our home tidy for at least ten years, probably longer, first when they came personally, and for some time now with their employees as their business has grown. In that time, they have shown again and again how much they care about being professional with their business and making sure we are satisfied with the service. If they are stuck in traffic, they call to let us know. They are very flexible about finding a day to come if we have a conflict with the scheduled time. We probably take for granted the level of conscientiousness we have come to expect. I can't say that in that length of time there has never been even a small accident. But on the few occasions when something has gone wrong, Mauricio has called me to let me know before I noticed it myself, and to spell out his plan to make it right. I see the same people whom we trust in our home in the neighborhood, providing the same service to friends and neighbors, and I have recommended Ruiz Cleaning Service to many friends over the years. I continue to do so and don't like to think what we would do without them. read more

I have a house I rent out in Walnut Creek, and each time a tenant moves out I have it professionally cleaned. In the past I have used The Big Cleaning Companies who have to carefully check their schedules to determine which "Team" might be available to clean my house. They have to send somebody out to look over the places to provide a fixed price quote. I have used these big "Team" companies several times. It seems their young workers spend as much time on their phones as cleaning my house. Not happy with the results, way too expensive, won't use them again. This time I went with Ruiz Cleaning, a husband and wife team. They are very professional, go out of their way to deliver a superior cleaning job, charge me by the hour, so they are done when they are done. Much, much more cost effective than the Big "Teams". Never saw them pull out a cellphone in 3 hours. The cleaning job was the best I have ever had and was the most cost effective cleaning job to date. I highly recommend Mauricio and his wife - you'll get superior cleaning at a much better price. I know who I am calling next time!! read more

Ruiz cleaning did an amazing job prior to us to moving to our new home. The quote was exactly what we paid! Communication was great and scheduling was easy. Will look into monthly on going services with them! Thank you!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Ruiz Cleaning. Mauricio was easy to work with and his team did an amazing job on our house as we we needed a clean out move. I will definitely use them again once we're settled at our new place. Thanks Mauricio! read more

Mauricio came to my home for an initial assessment. He was very attentive, and took notes about my home. (my preferences, where things are stored, not to mix up sponges used for cleaning dishes vs. cleaning sink/toilet). He and his wife personally cleaned my home the first time, and I felt that he took pride in doing a great job, and would know how to direct his employees in the future. This is important, because I have had cleaners in my previous home from a large company with different employees each time, who did not know the specifics of my preferences. Anyway, after Mauricio cleaned my home, it was sparkling. I have hired him for regular service from now on. FYI, only accepts check or cash. read more

Great service! Mauricio and his team at Ruiz Cleaning Service are just great. I highly recommend working with them. My bathrooms are super clean after their visits, I'm very pleased with them! Their pricing is very competitive as well! read more

This cleaning service blew me away with how good they are. I am definitely setting up bi-weekly visits. Attention to detail was amazing, above and beyond my expectations. read more

I have been using Ruiz cleaning for about 2 years now. I have always been happy with their service and dependability. I have never come home disappointed and the cleaners are always very nice and respectful. I depend on Mauricio and his team to help me keep things neat, tidy, and clean! I have asked the team a few times to do an above and beyond (a moving in clean, a moving out clean, clean the refrigerator, etc) and have always received excellent service. I trust Mauricio, his wife, and their employees. I leave out my valuables (computer, camera, jewelry, money, etc) and have never had anything go missing. I have and will continue to recommend Mauricio and his crew. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have further questions! read more

My wife and I love these folks. They are careful and detail oriented. If we ever need anything special, they are willing to work with us. They are prompt and thorough on the days they come to clean. I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

I met with Mauricio and was very excited to start having my house cleaned by his team. He seemed extremely interested in ensuring that we received excellent and professional cleaning services. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The 2 people who came for the initial cleaning did an okay job with how clean they got our place... not a great job though and our house is already kept pretty neat/clean anyway, as even Mauricio had pointed out. However, once they had left I found a variety of things that weren't up to the standard expected. Bedside table items somehow left behind the pillows, a cleaning solvent container apparently tossed under the sink sideways where it was leaking, the sheets taken off our bed had been left sitting on top of muck boots in a boots tray by the door (and these are muddy/dirty from our barn so this seemed like an awful place to find pillowcases left) and a security camera behind the couch having been knocked off a shelf. I left Mauricio a message that we were disappointed with the service and didn't want to continue as planned. He did not even call me back to discuss, apologize, etc. He seemed happy about his 5-star Yelp rating when we first spoke but didn't take any action to address a poor service experience had by me, a new client. If he had, I likely would have been more forgiving with my rating. Instead I felt like I paid a premium (as he charged almost double for the first cleaning) for poor service by this company. read more

I have been using Ruiz cleaning service for 12 years and have always been thrilled with their service. Over the many years I have had several different cleaners from their company in my home and have never been disappointed. I recognize that a weekly cleaning service will not cover every inch of my house but I can always depend on an overall clean and tidy home when they leave. If I ever wanted anything above and beyond(dirty window, ceiling light fixtures detailed, baseboards, refrigerator detailed etc.) I would only need mention it and it would be taken care of immediately. Most importantly, I trust Mauricio, Remedios and every one of their employees. Most days I am not home when they come...I have given them keys and security codes without hesitation. Not once have I ever found anything missing...and I will admit that I am a bit of a neat freak/overly organized so I would notice. I leave jewelry, money and other valuables out when they come... I know, not the smartest thing to do, but that is how much I trust them. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. read more

Mauricio is wonderful to work with. I have worked with his company since 2008 on a regular basis. At the beginning, it was just him and his wife. Over the years they have expanded to be able to serve more clients. His employees are trustworthy, efficient, and responsive to my requests. They show up on the day they are scheduled and do a great job cleaning whether I am there or not. I love coming home to that clean house smell, and having the whole house clean all at once. My team takes great care in cleaning my home and making everything beautiful. For example, in addition to the regular cleaning, they arrange my pillows beautifully and attend to other little details that I really appreciate. Mauricio, who personally manages the schedule, is a great communicator and gets back to me right away if I want to schedule an extra cleaning for a party or event. I highly recommend his company and his staff. This service is a great value for people who are too busy to do everything themselves. read more
