The total came to $13.08 before tip, which is a great price and initially set expectations fairly high. The wait time was reasonable, but when I received the bag it felt surprisingly light. Once home, the portion sizes were underwhelming. The onion rings were moderate, the coleslaw was about an ice-cream-scoop portion, and the grilled chicken sandwich consisted of a very small piece of chicken with one slice of lettuce and a thin slice of tomato on a plain white bun. For context, I weighed the chicken portion and it came in at 2.68 ounces, which is noticeably smaller than expected for a sandwich. Food quality was basic. The coleslaw appeared pre-packaged and was quite watery, and the onion rings seemed mass-produced rather than freshly battered. The chicken itself could have used more seasoning and a more substantial portion. Even a slightly upgraded bun would have helped. I'm giving this two stars instead of three because while the service was outstanding and the pricing is attractive, this is a restaurant first and foremost, and the food quality and portions didn't meet expectations. I'm not trying to bash ownership; a small increase in price to allow for better ingredients and slightly larger portions could make a big difference.
