I don't really like apples, but I love apple-picking! My boyfriend, my sister, her boyfriend and I decided to give Ochs a visit. We decided on Ochs because we didn't want to drive too far, they had free parking, did not have an entrance fee, had a petting zoo, and had veggies to pick. With so many pros, it was a pretty easy decisions. We went mid September and 80% of the honey crisp was already gone. After asking around and poking around, we finally found a few trees left. Different apple trees ripen at different times of the year, which I didn't really think of but it makes a lot of sense. It was $28 for half a bushel, which you pay for before you enter, which is plenty of apples. We managed to stuff 49 apples into the bag they gave us. We also picked some veggies. Most are $1.99 lb so you pick whatever you want, and they'll weigh it all together at the end. They have tomatoes, eggplants, many different types of hot/sweet peppers, kale, and probably some others I missed. There were certain patches of tomatoes that should/could have been better tended to, but the tomatoes were still ripe and juicy. Ochs is definitely one of the better orchards I've been to. read more

Are you looking for free parking? Let me tell you, Ochs Orchard is where it's at! YOU MUST COME AS SOON AS THIS PLACE OPENS at 9AM! I can't tell you how much more stress free it was coming here and having the option to park ANYWHERE in the lot on a Sunday morning; it was a pleasure. The parking lot is up the road a ways (I always wanted to say that!) but it's true. Drive slowly and let that beautiful nature do a sensory overload on you; it did for me. Porter potties are available for your convenience - and they were CLEAN! Hubby and I opted for a 1/2 bushel bag full of apples, $29 prepaid in cash only. Funny staff member laughed when I asked if we could walk the whole grounds, but it can be done if you're on the hunt for the perfect apples! Hubby didn't think I could stuff that bag anymore with apples, but trust me, I did my damn best! You get a map of the whole estate, and everything that was shaded was perfect for the picking. We got to pick red delicious, Cortland, honey crisp, Macintosh, snap dragon, and others! These apples were so big, red, full, and too perfect to even pick! Some of the trees were so loaded with apples, their branches were weighed down. I haven't seen trees like that in years, honestly. It was nice to just climb a tree and just sit there absorbing the surroundings and listening to the birds and buzz of the bees. After the orchard, the apple cider was definitely the BEST I've ever had, and I'm not a cider person at all. The apple cider sugar donuts were crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside. Not greasy at all! They allowed you to grab a bag yourself and decide how many and load up on sugared or plain. Really nice touch! We got 6 to go, and ate two each immediately in the car. Picnic tables are a hard commodity, so you might need to claim your grounds early. I bought mums, 3 for $20, apple butter, blueberry jam, a soup kit, and homemade salad dressing for under $50! They have a great selection of vegetables straight from the fields and other goods as well. There are some animals to pet and feed, which was cute and fun, but if you're looking for corn mazes or other fall activities under one roof, this isn't the place. They do have PYO pumpkins, but the section was too small for my liking. Get your pumpkins elsewhere. Overall, we arrived at 9:30AM and left at about noon, and let me tell you, that was the BEST thing we did. The lines to get into the orchard and get into the general store parking lot were insane when we were leaving. If you're coming from over an hour away like we did, the early bird catches the worm...not in the apple of course. Avoid the stress and chaos - come EARLY and take your time. Amazing farm for apple picking. The orchard is huge and they allow you to drive straight up to the parking lot for the orchard-which is great because it's such a climb. Everyone is very friendly. In order to access the orchard you must pay for a 1/4 or 1/2 bushel- they give you a bag and a map that helps you find the kind of apples that you want. There are wagons and tall picking sticks available to rent. We used the shake the branch method. Some of the trees were picked over but we got plenty of great apples and appreciated the variety! They do require that you wear a mask- even in the field although they weren't shitty about it or anything. Just being responsible. In addition to apples they have some veg and other fruits. They do let you what is off limits for picking. It varies by season. We had a blast!!! And the apples are great. After we were done picking we grabbed a pulled pork sandwich sold at the entrance of the orchard and ate it one of the many picnic tables. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. In addition to the orchard they also have a market at the entrance of the farm if you want to buy apples or other farm items- including honey from their hives. The farm and the area is simply stunning. We are planing to go back again. read more

Beautiful orchard, very well kept, and spacious with lots of variety to choose from. I haven't been to many orchards but I probably wouldn't go to any other after visiting Ochs. After doing my research and reading reviews on other farms, I settled on this one and I'm glad I did. First time I went was 2 yrs ago and I returned again this year, only to find my experience even better. Last time, I went to pick apples in late Sept and found the variety abundant with about 5 varieties in season (check the online calendar and call for availability). You get to sample a few to see what you like and that's the best perk about this farm! This year in late August, my boyfriend and I made it a one-day getaway from the city by visiting Ochs to pick peaches (yellow, white, and donut), nectarines, plums (purple, red, green), and berries (black, blue, rasp). I love peaches many times over apples and the abundance of peach trees was amazing. I loved that there were multiple peach tree sections spread out over the orchard so you didn't have to just stay in one area but explore the orchard. The grounds are lovely and there is a gazebo at the top with a unbeatable view of the orchard and surrounding farms. With some solace from the sun, this also makes for the perfect spot for a picnic. This place is great! Upon arrival you receive a map to show you where all of the fruits and veggies are. Everything is labeled and easy to find. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help if you have any questions. We spent a lot more time there than expected because it was a beautiful day and it was just enjoyable being outside and walking around the field to find all of the fruits and veggies we wanted. The price of everything was incredibly fair considering it is the fresher than anything you can get from a supermarket or even farm stand. All of the peppers were very large and in perfect condition. Scenic farm with views for miles on top of the hill! Came for the apples, stayed for a picnic with a view! It was nice of them to give us a map of the farm of fruits and veggies in season. We came for the sept apple harvest and most of the apples were good for the picking. The variety of the apples kept the picking interesting. Apple picking is always a great group activity. Especially the treasure hunting aspect of finding the best fruit to pick while you wander the rows and rows of trees. The farm kept the pricing of the apples straightforward. A small bag and a 1/2 bushel bag. 1/2 bushel bag full of apples cost $29 prepaid. While the smaller bag was $16 prepaid. All the other veggies were sold by the pound and weighed when you leave the premises. For the mid September trip, we brought back Red Delicious, Cortland, Golden Delicious, Empire, Stayman, Macintosh, and Gala apples Things they could improve on is the food at the store. Apple cider and apple cider donuts were not too unique in taste. Frankly, it tasted like apple juice with very little cinnamon, cloves, etc. Everything was cash only. A long relatively narrow road takes you up a big hill to a very picturesque, mountainous pick-your-own and farm store. The view from the top of the road alone, is worth the drive! We like Ochs because it's so pretty, small enough so that it's doable, and NOT touristy--(((yet))), but it looks like it's on its way--a little. We usually go in the fall, to pick apples, but you can also picked blueberries depending on the season you can pick anything, , we also picked whatever strawberries we could find left on the plants. What we found were small, but oh so sweet! No sugar or cream needed on those berries! I didn't find as many ripe blueberries as our friend found, and the one I tasted wasn't particularly sweet, but I'm sure others were sweeter. I'm looking forward to having them on my cereal tomorrow! We did not pick any of the vegetables. However we picked many apples to make home apple pie and to have raw as we walked the trail. Over eight different apples. The growing season for various fruits and vegetables is clearly marked, particularly once you get there. The sign posted by the PYI is not necessarily commensurate with what's posted on their website, so either call ahead, or just go. All areas are clearly marked and it's very organized. They provide the vessels. Ochs also makes their own ice-cream, which we've never tried, and I seem to recall that they make pies, as well, but I could be wrong. In all honesty...I visited this Orchard's shop a few years ago and did not have the best experience. It was later in the day and everything was gone. The few staff members there did not say a word and I gave this place a sub-par rating...fast forward a few years later. After researching a few nearby places for cherry picking, I saw that Ochs had some great reviews and offered the most reasonable pick-your-own prices in the area. I decided to give it a try on a Sunday mid-afternoon. We arrived there around 1 PM and as instructed, drove past the store to the pick-your-own parking area. Lots of parking spaces available. We walked to the counter and was greeted with welcoming smiles. A young man brought us over and explained the procedure. You pay $5 per person to enter the orchard (eat whatever you want/sample?) and pay per pound for everything you pick and bring out. $4 of the $5 you pay goes toward your purchase in the end. So say... a family of ($20 total admission fee) picks $30 worth of fruit/veggies. When leaving, they would be credited $16 (4 x $4) and would only have to pay $14 ($30-$16) when leaving. Upon entry, each person is given a coin/token and your return those when leaving, which is how they know how much (or who) to credit. This system is great as it take a lot of work, time and effort to maintain the orchard. I can see people coming in and eating without taking anything out. This system justifies the "sampled/eaten" fruit as well as gives an incentive to bring out and purchase. Also from a business standpoint..it makes sense. Seeing all that fruit on the floor wasted gets me a bit angry. If you visit please be mindful of this and try to waste as little as possible. After leaving the counter, you can grab containers for your pickings. You can walk to various parts of the orchards, but there is a trolley that constantly makes its round so feel free to catch a free ride throughout the orchard. We ended up walking to the cherry area and we had a blast. Me and my 8 year-old had fun searching for the best of the best...even if it meant stretching a bit to the top. We sampled a few but came away with just under 2 pounds ($5.99 per pound). After, we went over to the blueberry/rasberry section but there wasn't much available at the time. Upon leaving, we took out cherries to the counter and surrendered our coins ($8 worth) and paid a small difference. There are a few picnic tables near the counter where people were sitting or having a snack/lunch. Like most orchards, there are a lot of hills so bring your walking shoes. Overall we had an excellent time there. All staff were super nice, friendly and patient. The orchards were well kept and the pricing system was very reasonable, especially compared to its nearby competitors. I did not feel it was right to keep my old sub-par review up based solely on the store. The orchards are excellent and I highly recommend anyone looking for pick-your-own to try this place out. We will definitely be back for apple picking in the fall. Last tip is to look at a map before simply following GPS. On the way there from NYC it took a long time since GPS took us through lots of winding 20-30 mph side roads which seemed like an eternity. Coming back, I browsed the GPS options which selected only main roadways and the return trip was much more pleasant. read more

The two stars are for the apples themselves. Great tasting apples..at least the ones I could find!!! It's pretty much downhill from there. The apple trees were sparse. I'm scratching my head because it's only September 21st when we went. Many trees had nothing at reaching level. They weren't exactly handing out those pole picker things. The place itself is huge and apple trees are spread out in different areas - I wasn't crazy about that. It was a ton of walking to different areas and when we did find the trees, it was slim pickings. They claimed Golden Delicious were not ready, but most certainly were! We picked a bunch. I think these were the only plentiful trees! Many others were picking those too. Here's the kicker - a worker was sleeping under a tree with a jacket over his head!!! Creepy and not something kids want to see. Not sure why the business would allow that. The price was $38 for the larger bag. I didn't even fill it all the way up. They claimed veggies and other fruits were available, but those were slim pickings also. We won't be back. I should have went to our usual Beemerville Orchards - much nicer experience. read more

This is a very large orchard and they have everything from apples to zucchini. Very easy to navigate. And a great place for kids. There is a petting zoo with donkeys and goats available as well. We went specifically for the cherries and I think we might have been a little late. They were a little tart. Thankfully being short and unable to climb trees one of the families (husband) climbed to the top to get us the big riped ones. Can't thank him enough. Strawberries were also difficult to find as it seemed the season was almost over. You had to look very carefully to find good ones. Blueberries were in abundance but you had to be selective on which ones were sweet. We didn't have much luck with the raspberry. Peaches were ready to picked as well as spring onions and snap peas. Honestly, I thought they were expensive compared to the market. Was hoping it would be a little cheaper but it is all about the experience. Took my baby cousins and the loved it! A great way to exercise as well. Will be back in the fall for apples and pumpkins. read more

-100,000,000 would be my rating!! Absolutely disgusting how we were treated at this apple farm!! We came in at 5:30 knowing we only had 30 mins to pick apples with and for my 9 year old daughter. We followed another car from entrance and we were both waived up Mountain by a worker we proceeded up to orchard and started to pick apples we were the met with a old silver jeep wrangler with a young lady who started screaming and yelling and cursing that farm closes and we can't be in orchard I said we are pretty much done picking and she still screaming and cursing like a low life that she is..then she left and drove around and blocked us from leaving when a man named Al in a old pickup starts in with the yelling and screaming and cursing....me and my wife asked countless times to stop with the language but clearly these low life people just can't help themselves..then yet another younger man on a 4 wheeler starts in again with the yelling and cursing and now my 9 year old daughter is screaming and crying and shaking...finally after 15 minutes but it felt like 15 hours of them tormenting me and my wife and my 9 year old Al moved his truck and let us leave and then to top it off the low life on 4 wheeler and young woman in the rusted up wrangler gave my 9 year old the double handed middle finger salute. How disgusting can you be.... Low life trailer trash would be an understatement for these people. I hope nobody ever goes there ever again!!! read more

Impressive selection of fruits and vegetables to pick, so great for kids as well as those who do a lot of cooking. Saw one group of people who clearly came to stock up. Had a big box full of potatoes and had brought their own containers for blackberries. The map you get isn't very accurate, so it can be hard to find exactly what you are looking for in some cases, and some of the stuff on the list of the day isn't there -cucumbers when we went-and we also found zucchini which we did want that wasn't on the list. Prices are very reasonable for pick your own. Just wish the map and signage were better. One thing we found particularly disturbing was the incredible waste, so much unpicked, rotting fruits and vegetables. I understand that there is too much to pick, but it's still so sad. read more

In the late 1930's it started as the partnership of Ochs & Scheuermann. Peter Ochs and Chris Scheuermann ran a wholesale apple and peach fruit farm until 1969. In 1969 Peter purchased Chris Scheuermann's share of the farm and in 1971 invited his son, Leslie, to operate the orchard with him. In 1973, Leslie and his wife, Susan, purchased the orchard from Peter. Les promoted the retail trade by opening a farmstand. He then started growing vegetables to provide a variety of produce for sale. Next he introduced the idea of "Pick-Your-Own Apples" to the orchard and it became very successful. Eventually, Les installed a cider press so that fresh cider was made every week for the rapidly growing Farm Market. In June 1994 Les passed away. Today, Susan and their son, Alan, operate the farm. I have been going here with my family since I was a little fat kid. It wasn't pick your own back in the day and not sure if it is today. I remember the delicious pies I used to stuff my face with. The apples were too healthy for me. We also would go for peaches and the ride here was always fun. I haven't been in years. A nostalgic look back to my childhood. I will be going with my kids to relive the memories. I hear it's still the same family as my uncle still goes and brings back apples/peaches. Enjoy! read more

This is the best orchard within driving distance of New York City. We come several times a year for everything from Strawberries and Cherries in the early summer, peaches in summer, and apples and pumpkins in the fall. 1. You can park and have a picnic while taking in the gorgeous views. The parking area is up very high and you are looking out over Warwick, the views are stunning. 2. The orchard is rustic, and plentiful. You will not travel all the way up there for there to be very little apples or berries. The orchard is vast and you can wander to parts away from the other pickers. So so nice. 3. It is not overly crowded. You pass an orchard along the way that is almost a mini amusement park, I think that takes up the crowds you do not want to encounter. Like I said, it is far enough away a lot of people from the city don't travel up. I once went to a closer orchard that was full of overly dress overly make-upped women in high heeled boots with their gold chained and juiced up counterparts using every profanity as an adjective whether it is the proper usage or not..... this is not the case at Ochs. Great place, beautiful views, and very peaceful. Enjoy your afternoon and pack a lunch. We visited Ochs Orchard to go apple picking. It was a bit late in the season but we still were hopeful we might get a few decent picks. Upon entering the field there were picnic benches set up on both sides of the trail. They also had a limited menu of cooked food for sale; bbq, French fries, hot dogs etc. We were able to find quite a few selections to take home with up to fill our bags. Plus, the kids love rummaging through the trees picking apples, peppers, and even raspberries. Our favorites based on what was available were the Golden Delicious, Snap Dragon, and Ruby Frost. The Ruby Frost took the cake; they were so juicy is was insane. Upon leaving the apple fields we stopped at the gift shop at the bottom of the hill. At the store they sold apples, a ton of vegetables, apple cider, apple cider donuts, ice cream, chocolate and desserts. I personally found some of the prices a bit high for the donuts, considering their size and the price per scoop of ice cream. Other than that it was a good picking day. read more

Wonderful orchard to pick, pet, and taste things. Picking wise, it can get a little crowded on the weekends so come early. Petting wise it doesn't get any better than this! Ochs has two of the silliest 'will love you for food and then trot away as soon as the last morsel is gone' goats I have ever met. These goats are ridiculous! There are also some ducks and two donkeys that are almost as silly as the goats. 25 cents buys you some goat/donkey food and they'll be your BFFs all day long..... As long as you keep kibble in your hand. Tasting wise, you must make a stop at the country store and pick up some of their fresh apple donuts which are amazing. Don't be foolish like I was and think half a dozen are enough..... get a dozen, you won't be sorry! read more

I like the size of this farm, as it feels more manageable than Masker and less crowded. When you enter Ochs, you'll see the farm store first and then you have to drive a bit further up to get to the orchard entrance. For any of these orchards, you'll pay a premium for apples (1/4 bushel for $15 and 1/2 bushel for $28.50). The 1/4 bushel is enough but the bag looks really small. It certainly is enough to lug around once it's full though. If you don't stray far from the path, the apples are concentrated at the top of the trees, for which you'd need a pole. But if you stray further, there's more to find. They have vegetables (eggplant, kale, peppers, etc.) and fruits as well, which is a nice variety. Today the best things were the peppers. You should pay attention to the variety of apples that you're looking for - today there was a lot of golden delicious and the macintosh were all gone. There's also a pumpkin patch. By the store, they also have a small petting zoo, with a huge donkey in it. The store has apple cider donuts but they're all in a case for you to pick (6 for $4 or a dozen for $7), instead of coming hot off the press. This is OK, but takes something out of the experience--felt more utilitarian. They also have homemade ice cream, vegetables, pies ($16.99 for one!) The vegetables in the farm store aren't super expensive. There isn't a big lot for the store but it seems like people are quickly coming and going so maybe parking wouldn't be a problem. Wanted to note that the staff was letting in groups of families in without masks, so if that's a concern for you, then maybe stay away. It's pretty gross considering this is a farm where you pick your own gatherings, but they are letting in people without masks to touch and handle food that's ultimately gonna end up in your basket. I went to Ochs orchard in mid October and had a wonderful time. With a large variety of apples and plenty of space to spread out and pick on your own trees it's easy to get lost in the beautiful hillside. The views are fantastic and the prices for a bag of apples was reasonably priced. You can also pick your own strawberries, peaches, raspberries, and pumpkins during the right seasons. The apple picking bags were $13/small bags and $25/large bags. You could pay extra for that long rod that is used to pick higher apples. Maps are provided and have highlighted sections for apples currently in season. The maps could be inaccurate as it doesn't always reflect all the varieties. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best to go in the morning before the crowd, by 12 pm you'll be dealing with traffic and way more people. Next year I will definitely have to go earlier in the season for some peach picking. My boyfriend and I drove up for an hour and half to come apple picking in Warwick. We originally planned to go to Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery but was disappointed upon arrival when the staff said they had no apples to be picked. We decided to find another orchard and ended up here thanks to Yelp. The orchard was filled with apples! We bought 2 1/2 bushels and honestly we really underestimated the size. It fits way too many apples than we expected. I say opt for the 1/4 bushels instead unless you're picking to share with family and friends. After apple picking, we drove back down to the market area where we came across the mini petting zoo. There were a few donkeys and goats which you can pet and feed which I think are perfect for the kids. The market was filled with fresh veggies and fruits, and a section for homemade ice cream and sherbet. My favorite part of the market were the apple cider doughnuts! We bought a dozen along with ghost pepper hot sauce. The doughnuts were so delicious! The only downside to this place are the porta potties! It was just disgusting! I was very very turned off. I also want to add that the drive here was long but beautiful. Because we are from the city, we're not used to seeing empty green land so driving through the plantations was beautiful. Took my 18 month old son here to go picking last weekend. Such a great and affordable experience! They even gave us a ride in the golf cart to the blueberry patch, as it is quite a distance for a toddler to walk. We picked peppers, tomatoes and blueberries. I highly recommend that you bring water and get there early before all the blackberries are gone! read more

Great layout and clear and crisp Autumn day we wandered in - the front area with the store is only if you don't want to pick your own and just want to buy the veggies out of coolers or apple cider donuts (good), homemade ice cream (ok) or cider (eh, ran out of cold cider when I was there). Cash only, they have an ATM in the store. The parking lot you drive up into, and then check in - apple bags are $14 for a 1/4 bushel, and $27 for 1/2 bushel (if you overpick, you can come back and exchange for the next larger size). The rest of the veggies you buy by the pound at the exit point. Cash only, again. If picking apples, go over to the green-lined tent just beyond the food area to the right, and pick up a wheelbarrow ($20 deposit, returned when you return the 'barrow) and an apple picker ($8, $5 is the returned deposit). You can also rent little trolleys, but the ground is so uneven most places, not worth it. The map shows you what they have - pumpkins, tomatoes, berries, all kinds of fresh produce and many different apple trees. Ask them upfront what's in-season. We took the long way around - with the picker, we could get at the highest, best fruit. The lower levels tend to be well-picked and lack much larger or riper pieces. The pumpkins were mostly smashed up at this point. The tomatoes smashed as they had touched the ground (rather than being held up on frames in order to better preserve them). The peppers were small. The apples, though - great groves of trees and sweet apples. Golden and red delicious were fantastic. The Fuji won't be ready until late October after the first frosts, they think. Too late for raspberries and blueberries though, in October. The store below - cash only and various local honey and apple butter products, too, along with bathrooms outside in a separate building near the animal feeding zones for chickens, goats, etc. Overall, a nice place to go visit and let the little one chase apples and pick things, feed the animals and try the one-path covered short haystack maze. Good for the trip out - there are some gorgeous dam pictures nearby and lots of great foliage shots in the various parks. About 1.5h from the Holland Tunnel area, so not bad. Reasonably cheap and plenty of exercise out there carrying around your sacks of food. Makes you feel a bit like a farmer for a day. Pathes are bumpy, so anyone with a handicap will find it tough. And the hot dogs are $3. But you didn't come here to eat unless it was for the cider donuts! read more

Picked strawberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberries, and pulled out garlic from the ground. The cherries come in bright red and bright yellow/red but the yellow ones are sweeter and juicier! We shall be back for apples and peaches since they aren't ripe right now. Had their homemade ice cream (coffee chocolate chip) it was really good tbh not too sweet. Also bought a dozen apple cider donuts($7) yum (: First time picking berries so I can't say if they're pricey or not but their prices are comparable to buying at wholefoods..if not higher....only you'll probably get better fruits at wholefoods. Came here this past Sunday and had a ton of fun. Though I was saddened that most of the trees had been picked of the apples. However it seems that all of the orchards in this vicinity had the same issue. What I liked about this orchard was the parking because even though it was very crowded they provided ample space to find a spot. The ground is rough so I recommend wearing comfortable yet sturdy shoes, because without them you may risk a sprain. It's up and down hill for a lot of the orchard, but it's worth it. They offer decently clean port-o-potties with outside wash sinks. As well as a reaching stick in two different size, long enough to reach the highest branches. This requires a $5-8.00 deposit. The map shows exactly where you need to go for specific type of apple. They also offer a variety of vegetables, berries as well as pumpkin picking. I believe that they have a sunflower field but this may have been out of season at the time. This is a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon, just be sure to get there early enough because it will be overrun by tons of tourists. read more

I love the yellow corn on the cob ($5 for a dozen) and orange cherry tomatoes, all of which I purchased from the store. I saw one of the cashiers eating the corn raw at the orchard, so I went home and tried it raw as well. It was so sweet and delicious, I could not believe it was raw! The cherry tomatoes were so tasty they reminded me of the ones in Italy! I wish I had gotten more. I also picked my own blackberries from the orchard. The blackberries were pretty good, but you have to eat them shortly after you pick them so they retain the sweetness. (I don't know why, but they didn't taste as sweet when I ate them hours later.) I picked my own peaches (both red and yellow) as well, they were sweet and crunchy. I thought the price was reasonable. I wasn't a huge fan of the cider donut, it was just ok, I would rather stick with the fresh produce. You can also pick your own vegetables, such as kale, broccoli, basil, eggplants, bell peppers, etc. The drive to the orchard from NYC passing the Hudson River was also quite scenic. The orchard is well maintained. I highly recommend it. read more

Great produce. My kids had a great time picking cherries and strawberries. There were plenty of strawberry patches to pick from. We were in between one group of cherries being over picked and the next group not quite ready but we were able to get enough for our family. I got some snap peas for myself and my mom. They were delicious Perhaps just call ahead if there is something in particular that you want. $4 of the $5 entrance fees goes towards what you pick. There also little shuttles that can take people around to the different areas. There is also a market down below and have homemade ice cream. My only thing when you turn to enter inly one car can enter/ exit at a time and it's a blind turn. You have to go slow anyways but it would be nice if they had one of those big mirrors so you can if there is a car coming read more
