So I was a big price chopper shopper for many years until today I just got done getting my groceries as I'm heading to self checkout the attendant was fixing candy in a cart they had by the area I processed to ring up my stuff when I noticed the attendant was might as well say on my shoulders he stood there making me feel so uncomfortable and made me to feel like it was due to my color due to the fact there was another customer in the area I hate to say that but it's definitely how the situation and how close and quickly he stood behind me when I came to self checkout I will no longer be shopping here this is 2026 if you have an issue with someone's race please do not work in customer service read more

Great store. Way better than ShopRite. less crowded, very fresh produce great prices and super clean.

The pharmacy in this store is the only reason I still shop there. The pharmacy is the best in town. I must say the each of the pharmacists take time to explain your medication and answer all of your questions. However, the rest of the store has gone down hill. The deli is dirty and super slow. Every time I shop there, they only have one clerk. Next time I'm taking pictures. No more store made salads and the cheese department is awful. Bakery department seems okay lately but not like it used to be. Produce department is still nice as well as the meat department. read more

I went in to take advantage of some circular coupons today before the big storm. One of the items was a ham on sale for $.99 if you spent $15. I picked up a couple other sale items as well. There were no lines if you did self check out. I decided to try it. I did fine until I got to the coupons. I didn't know how to proceed so I scanned one apparently that's not how it works because the register halted and the attendant came over and very tersely told me she was supposed to scan them. She scanned them and the amount still looked to high so I questioned her about it. She explained to me about two of the items but the ham was still too much. Her shift manager came over snd she told her to take care of me because she was just "done" for the day. Her shift manager reviewed cost of ham and I asked if I had gotten correct ham? Nope guess not - so I asked if she could show me where correct ones where. She was not very nice either but did go and show me where to find one. I realize we are all living in very exhausting trying times. I also feel like as a customer I don't want to be treated as though I'm inconveniencing someone who is really just there to for customer service. I think upper management needs to look at the length of hours people are working or remind them they are in a customer service industry. Shoprite is right across the street and I'll stick with them from now on. read more

With an expanded family of 6, not including the pets, my family and I need to shop frequently to keep the home stocked and happy. Though Price Choppers is the new kid on the block for our area, since their opening, I avoid shopping at any of the other local supermarkets. Their selection for meats and produce are superb, the store is clean and well stocked, and the staff are friendly and accomdating. Aside from utilizing the savings card for the wonderful sales, it has proven it's work at the pump too! What a wonderful concept to team up with local fuel station to help not only save the fuel you need for your body, but also for your car too. The other fantastic quality that some may not know is that Price Choppers is a green business and does it's part for the environment. Was in there today, Guy at the seafood counter put a lobster claw in with my lobsters low and behold when I got home it was gone. Funny how he took my bag behind the counter to put the UPC ON THE BAG. Funny when I got home the claw was gone. Simple as this I paid for it the clerk stole it. Just called the night manager and he denied it when in fact he wasn't even there. Yes the claw was a loose one off another lobster from the tank. If the guy asked me for it I would have gave it to him. Do not trust this place. Oh the other thing is they offer to steam your lobster for you. 1 + 1 = 2 Claw in bag , no claw in bag counter guy takes off for 15 min im guessing steams the lobster claw eats it on my dime. Finally a little friendly competition in Warwick and something that is open 24 hours. I hope it stays as great as it is now. The produce department is the freshest, as are the seafood, and meat counter. I got lots of good eats for my grilling pleasure especially all summer long. Everyone is polite and they do the bagging for you which are all pluses in my book. I'm not here frequently but have no problems and usually stop in a couple times a month when visiting my parents. I know my parents especially love it and have gotten pretty lucky with price matching and good deals on the gas deal they offer when using their club card. Why their sliced and packed breads are always undercooked (underbaked)? I mean...seriously ! Any time we buy bread there at their bread dept. the inside is raw. What's more exciting than a new supermarket opening in Warwick? I'd guess not much... Shoprite has basically owned this town since the Grand Union (yeah I'm an old timer) closed. It's nice to see some legit competition and maybe it will make both of them work a little harder to earn some business. It's one of these new-age country store looking supermarkets and it actually blends in pretty well with the Warwick countryside. It's only been open about two weeks so everything is nice and clean the staff is super helpful. The dude in the butcher was super helpful. He marinated some meat for us and came from around the counter and placed it in our cart. There were plenty of cashiers so the lines were nice and short. read more

Keep your eyes open in the deli department. The employees most times wear blue work gloves then slice and handle the meats at the slicer. I told the employee I do not want my food touched unless they put on the plastic gloves. I received an answer I did not like and walked away. I no longer order any meats from deli. Just on Saturday April 21 I was passing by the deli and the clerk was doing the same thing with the dirty gloves for another customer. Beware. read more

Nice, Shinny and New. Those are the three words that come to my mind when I think of Price Chopper (probably because it only opened up a month ago). Aside from the newness of the supermarket, everyone is very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your have a good experience. The produce department is HUGE! They offer a ton of great options - much more than ShopRite. They have a "café" where you can get anything from fresh out of the oven pizza, homemade sandwiches, and special daily meals. They also have a number of products that ShopRite does not carry - most of these items are organic. The prices are right along the side of ShopRite. Sometimes better Sometimes Worse - it really depends on what is on sale that week. So take a look at the circular and visit both - luckily they are right down the street from each other. read more

only ask that the Bakery have French Cruellers available everyday. go on a Monday and told they are sold out? definitely need some changes in that dept. their meat dept is so much better than the competitor across the street in warwick,rte 94, ny. the mgr in this store needs to be replaced. never available to consumers. a shame this store is not doing better. this is what happens when you have Union employees who simply do not give a darn at either shop rite or price chopper. read more

The store manager (I'd describe her but some may make it about race) is as arrogant as they come. She talks down to you and belittles you like you aren't worth her time. Maybe it's because I'm a woman? Who knows? Also, there is a checkout woman who works on Sundays who will do everything in her power to not scan any coupons given to her. She will pretend to scan them then drop them in the slot. Check your receipt and you'll see that the coupons did not get applied to your order. I will stand on the longest line to avoid her even if her register is empty. Don't even get me started on the always broken, hardly staffed cans/bottles redemption machines. read more

First off I have been shopping here since the opening of the store. The staff and customer service is great! Several of my daughter's friends work there and are quite happy. I have however had to return a few items, I bought a prepackaged flank steak and when I went to go use it the next day it smelled off. Took it back and they refunded me with no problems. There are a few things I wish they carried as I am tired of having to go to multiple stores to get what I need. Recently they had stopped carrying the ice tea my husband and I drink but wrote to them and what do you know the store now keeps it in stock. I would have given 5 stars but seeing as how they don't carry all my family's needs that's why only 4 stars. The place is always clean and there prepared foods are quite good. Just wish the rotisserie items had more variety, also the ribs that they prepare are not that great. The bread is always good and so are the cakes. read more

i was a loyal shopper from the first day this store opened ( spent an average of $150.00 a week), the management seems to have changed and so has everything else. gas incentive got harder to gett and i was very happy to spend my money there every week to get that discount on gas, food prices are not great ( shop rite is more competitive) Boars Head cold cuts was taken out of the store (huge mistake). i am a mother with four kids, i shopped with my son in a "child cart" i was followed like i was a low life, when i stopped and looked at the manager following me he cowardly looked down and walked awy from me. made me very uncomfortable. too bad it was a nice place to shop read more
