Unfortunately my grandmother was placed here, and we had nothing but issues with the place! The staff will not communicate with you unless it's about something they need and or want. The quality of care was not given as well! We were told my grandmother would get bathed every day and she was reviving baths once a week. She had to move rooms due to an issue with her room and while "they moved her" they broke her chair, her tv, and jewelry ended up missed included two diamonds out of her wedding band. When addressed with a manager, she avoided and wouldn't call back or participate in a conference call with family to get answers. Gifts that were sent there were never delivered, or were offended delivered 5-10 days after arriving. I live out of state and had to fly out there to make sure that the items delivered were delivered correctly. When Walmart orders for her were delivered, they were being opened and items were missing! The "leadership" there is a joke and dips and dodges all responsibility and will not have any conversation if it's the tiny bit uncomfortable. The "people running the place" are all about money and are farming as many elderly people as they can to make as much money as they can! They take no accountability, no ownership, and clearly do not have any leadership or management ability to speak to people, or have actual conversations. This place was horrible and I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this hell hole! read more

This place does not care about senior citizens it's all about the money. They will leave your loved one in peril and will go unnoticed and neglected. Personal items suddenly turn up missing and the residents don't always receive their mail. They have limited exposure to their families. I would strongly turn around and find another facility. They are excellent on propaganda to get you in the door and sign on the bottom line and then forget you are there. read more

you've been very late many times. and who puts these meals together? I am looking at one right now: beets, 2 hard boiled eggs, an omelette and potatoes. WTH!!! that's way to many eggs. and beets? with eggs? many of these meals make no sense at all. some are not even on the menu. the fruit cups leak. our meals were delivered at 4:30 the other day, the guy said 'sorry" and ran off. I first toured Pacifica Senior Living in mid-2017, while it was under construction. My mom needed memory care & they offer both assisted living and memory care. Unfortunately they didn't open till early 2019 so I placed my mom elsewhere. I recently toured the now-opened campus. It's new & beautiful and the memory care has a great enclosed courtyard where memory care residents can get fresh air & garden. Had they opened in early 2018, I would have considered moving her in. Now that she's wheelchair dependent & requires more attention, I hesitate to move her here. If she was still highly functional, I'd definitely consider Pacfica Senior Living memory care. read more

I submit this review with great resentment and disappointment. I want to report what I believe to be very unprofessional and discriminatory treatment by Jonetta, director of Pacifica Senior Living. Here are the details. My sister is a recovering alcoholic and when she applied for housing at Pacifica, there was full disclosure that she was 59 and has late stage cirrhosis of the liver (hence her need for assisted living). Maria and other staff members were great -they let her tour the facility and put a down payment on a unit. The required doctor's report was faxed to Pacifica approximately 10 days ago. After they received the doctor's report Pacifica scheduled the required nurse's assessment at their facility, which was done on Tuesday, April 9. My sister and a family member also met with another staff member that day and schedule a move-in date for April 17th. Pacifica happily accepted full payment for the first month, with no mention of "red flags" in her application. Three days later, I received a call from Jonetta, the director of Pacifica, because she wanted to talk to me about the "red flags." Jonetta mentioned her age (which they knew week's ago) and then proceeded to ask me questions about my sister's drinking, when did she have her last drink, did I know Pacifica served alcohol, and then asked "what are we supposed to do if she starts drinking?" I was pretty taken aback by the questions. We never asked them to monitor my sister for alcohol intake. I said I was curious if Jonetta was screening all residents about alcohol concerns. I also reminded her that we used a referral service that specifically referred my sister to facilities that would take residents who were 59 if they needed care. Pacifica was on that list. Then, Jonetta informed me that the doctor's report from 10 days ago said my sister didn't need assisted living. Wow! I guess they never thought to disclose this to my SISTER when Pacifica received the report, or when she went for the nurse's visit, or when she gave them a check and scheduled a move-in date. Jonetta said she was calling the licensing board and would get back to me. Well, you guessed it! Her placement was rejected based on "her age and the doctor's report." I must admit I was not very kind in my response to Jonetta. Why ask me about my sister's alcohol usage when she was being rejected for unrelated reasons? I question the motives of the director and believe the rejection was actually based on my sister's disease and appearance. It's indefensible that these other issues weren't addressed immediately so my sister could have looked elsewhere. And adding insult to injury - Jonetta still has not called my sister to notify her that she has been rejected by Pacifica. Nor is her refund check ready. Jonetta is off for the weekend. Just beware. If your loved one isn't particularly affluent, attractive, or has a socially unacceptable disease, there is no room at Inn Pacifica. Additional information from Tuesday, 4/9 - The family member who visited Pacifica on 4/9 with my sister reports that they asked to see the unit again that day and there was already some furniture in it. The furniture did not belong to my sister. This is a brand new unit with no previous occupants. When the family member asked who's furniture, they said it was probably delivered to the wrong unit. This just increases my suspicions that they took my sister's money, yet never intended to allow her to move in because they had already rented that unit to some else as well. Completely unethical, possibly illegal as well. read more

Such wonderful staff and beautiful facility. My Father was the very first resident to move into this brand new facility 2.5 years ago. He was very happy living there quite independently for years. He was recently hospitalized and in rehab and then returned to Pacifica with many more needs and demands on the staff. I have been so impressed with the compassion of all the staff members, including the administration, med techs, caregivers, food staff, maintenance, housekeeping and many others I may have not mentioned. The staff has shown incredible team work enabling my dad to continue is recovery with his dignity in place always with a smile on their faces! My 90 year old father, who has terminal cancer, recently moved into Pacifica Senior Living and I am so pleased. The staff are extremely kind and engaged with both my father and the other residents. They often check up on him and encourage him to take part in events and gatherings here at the center. The lobby is gorgeous and the grounds are well maintained. My father's room is lovely and the maintenance man, Jesse really helped warm up the place by hanging all my Dad's favorite pictures on the walls. Nice bathrooms, lots of space and light. He truly feels at ease in his stylish digs. Every staff member has been so warm and welcoming. The new chef even made an effort to meet my dad and chat. The food is varied and pretty darn good. I often eat on the lovely patio with Dad and we truly enjoy looking out over the lush green ravine nearby. I'm so happy we chose Pacifica Senior Living. Whether it's a Luau, resident entertainment, movies in the swanky movie theatre to trivia nights and interesting speakers. Lots to do and great people to share experiences with. They even have a hair salon in house. Great hotel like experience! My Dad feels safe and happy here. Recommend highly!!!! read more

Where do I start! This place is Beautiful inside and out and just has a wonderful atmosphere. I personally love gardening and this place has beautiful landscapes and walkways. I got the wonderful opportunity to volunteer here in assisted living and memory care with the residents during this pandemic, which probably helped me more than them lol. My interactions with the staff have always been awesome and anytime I needed anything the Director Jackie was right there to help me. All that to say I recommend this place to anyone looking for a senior living community, cause this is the Best! read more
