I live in an HOA community and getting approval for the turf installation took a bit of time. Eduardo was so understanding and patient the entire time. I felt bad that he had to wait about two months from the initial estimate to the actual turf installation day. On the installation day, Eduardo came on time and got to work with another worker. They were quiet and were not disruptive at all. I was working from home and they did not cause any disturbances. The work took about 4 hours total and the outcome is beautiful.

So we decided to finally put the finishing touches to our front yard. We debated on whether to put…read morenatural grass or artificial turf, and we decided to go with artificial turf for a couple of reasons: First, we live in CA, and the mismanagement of water resources has caused the price of water to skyrocket. Secondly, a lot of the current turf looks very realistic and resembles natural grass. Third, I wouldn't have to mow the lawn anymore!! We put out the feelers on Sunday night at 8:30 pm, not expecting to get a reply until Monday morning, but Jacob from Verdigrass responded within 10 minutes! I, along with the wife was impressed by the quick response so we scheduled an estimate with Jacob for Wednesday. Jacob was very accommodating with my work schedule and actually came to my house by 8:00 am. Since Jacob was coming from Vallejo, I knew it was a long distance and he would have to leave very early in the morning, so again, we were impressed. My meeting with Jacob went very well. Since this was my first experience with artificial turf, I had a bunch of questions, which Jacob answered fully. It was also very helpful that he had several samples that I could see and feel. After getting my quote, which came in much lower than another company. We decided to go with Verdigrass due to the experience we had thus far with Jacob. Communication with Jacob was stellar, and he was able to schedule the job for Saturday morning. The material was dropped off on Friday, and Jacob's crew, headed by Juan, arrived at 0730 am, a half hour earlier than the 0800 am start Jacob had mentioned. The crew was efficient and highly knowledgeable and had the job done in approximately 5.5 hours! We could not be happier with our experience with Jacob, Juan and Verdigrass. Now we just have to save up enough money to do the backyard!

I needed all the overgrowth cleared out, wanted to replace the patch of lawn with pavers, and add 4 sturdy posts for hanging hammocks. I didn't want to commit to building a full blown shade structure, and I'm still considering options for my perimeter flower beds. Juan was very accommodating and suggested a phased approach, which worked out great. I'll be able to use my yard now, while I ponder how far I want to go in the future. Importantly, his crew busted out the whole job in 3 and a half days! Other quotes I got indicated it would be at least a week, maybe longer. I have an in-person role at work so time off was limited and the speed he offered was key. They crew showed up early, worked hard all day, and cleaned up each night. Juan personally came by multiple times each day to check progress and insure the job was moving well. This allowed me to make a couple minor modifications in real time, which he was very gracious about accommodating. I can highly recommend Clover, and will be sure to reach out when I'm ready for phase 2. Thanks Juan!!

The finished turf looks great, and we're happy with how it turned out aesthetically. Unfortunately,…read morethe installation caused several issues that have taken away from the overall experience. During the project, the support wire for our string lights was broken. While the sprinklers that were being removed were properly capped off as requested, other parts of our irrigation system were damaged. Several irrigation tubes appear to have been cut or disconnected, and the low-voltage power wires for the irrigation system were also cut. The most frustrating part is that troubleshooting and repairing the irrigation system may require digging up sections of the newly installed turf, creating additional expense and risking damage to a brand-new installation. The turf itself looks great, but I wish more care had been taken to protect the existing irrigation infrastructure and other outdoor features during the installation.

Various tree roots were causing the ground to be uneven especially in the driveway. We evaluated four contractors in various categories: cost, warranty, Diamond certification, which certifications did the contractor have for this type of work, how long has the company been in business, google and yelp review ratings, use of subcontractors, licensed, could they provide a list of previous work performed in our area so we could examine their work quality, how did the sales person respond to our questions and respond to ideas, and do they leave some extra pavers. There are a lot of things to consider when hiring a paver contractor and what do you get compared to the cost you will pay for their service. All of this information was compared. Unique Pavers came out on top and we are happy with the result. They completed the work efficiently, professionally, and created a beautiful driveway and walkway even into the corners. Being in a court, our property didn't run at 90 degree angles so a bit more ingenuity was needed to make the edges look neat. The team of Bill Goff (senior design consultant), Dan Burnham (senior project manager), William (foreman), and the team of Carlos and David, with a few other workers at the end, successfully completed our project on time and within budget. We discussed ideas with Bill and Rick Telly (the owner) came back with updated quotes as we finalized what would be installed. A group chat was setup with us, Rick, Dan, and Bill, so any issues could be communicated quickly. Dan was always professional, was very quick in his text responses, and stopped by once a day to check on the progress and allow us to discuss any issues. The experienced team of William, Carlos, and David worked very hard each day, were efficient, and knew what to do. The workers were all professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. Unique Pavers deservedly earned their 5* review. It was such a pleasure working with them and couldn't have asked for a better team to get the job done.

They completely transformed our backyard to include two patios surrounding a putting green, a low wall, pathways, and new landscaping with fruit trees and a hedge with drip irrigation. We had high expectations because we knew what Unique Pavers did for our driveway and front yard, and they did not disappoint! Rick has amazing vision when it comes to designing spaces. Dan is a great project manager who was onsite nearly every day and has excellent communication skills. And the hardscape and landscape crews really know how to execute; they worked hard and worked together well.
