heard about this in a news article. FABULOUS. obsessed. cannot wait to become a regular here. came on the last 20min of their opening weekend with some friends and they were so graciously welcoming. we sampled some hot teas they had and they offered honey samples too. you can smell every spice and every tea blend because they have a magnet mini jar in front of the big jar for you to smell. and oh my goodness these creative blends transported me to somewhere else. the hazelnut cinnamon cream taste like autumn and winter in a cup. the spices are all made in house and you can tell that in the quality of scent. in my opinion if you don't leave a spice or tea shop sneezing a little then it's not the real deal. i got some really unique powders like dried tomato powder and horseradish powder. the prices are reasonable, was expecting wayland square to be more but they are good. they have so many other cute items like wood boards and olive oil and cocktail syrups. great gift store and great timing to open before all the gift giving days coming up. love the decor like the vintage cash register. could spend hours in here but wanted to not stay too long past closing so i'll be back soon!

Strawberry kiwi tea, izu matcha, and vanilla matcha (my favorite thing that they sell!)

They responded to my Instagram messages when they were restocking, which was an awesome start. When I arrived, I was pleased to find such a sweet shop with some any wonderful things. I ended up getting some recommendations from them on what to buy for an afternoon snack, and then I posted up on the couch with my cheese and crackers while I enjoyed them. There are all sorts of cheeses and accoutrements, along with gift options, speciality groceries, etc. If you find yourself in the area, it's a great choice!!

Yes, it's a little pricey but you're getting top quality goods. There are a few dedicated parking spaces directly in front of the store as well as on- street & public parking around Wayland Square. The staff is always friendly & helpful. I've attended fun events there, such as their annual anniversary celebration & cheese bingo. Lovely place when you feel like treating yourself.

I probably would have purchased my food here instead had I known their selection of prepared foods looked much better than my previous stop at another store. I stopped in mainly to buy the imported buffalo mozzarella where they seem to be the only place who imports it from Italy. It did not disappoint. You really haven't experienced authentic mozzarella until you've had the real deal made from actual water buffalo milk. The personalized service at this establishment is wonderful. It is family owned and operated, and they are truly a class act and treat their customers so kindly. Their cheese selection is also very expansive and they also sell many cookware items imported from Italy. I can't say enough good things about this little store with a big personality. Please stop by if you are visiting Federal Hill!

There are only three I think. Lots of pastas, flours, herbs, Moka pots in a few sizes, espresso cup sets, gift items, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, etc. for sale. It's packed with delicious-looking items, from fancy oils to spices and meats, cheeses, condiments, produce, and so much more. The owner was there along with some staff, and everyone was so open and friendly. It was so easy to strike up a conversation and get feedback about various items in the store. I was so pleased with my first visit while waiting for my friend for dinner, that I told her about the shop while we were having dinner. We stopped in again, this time together, afterwards. She also loved the shop and made some purchases. I will definitely be back! The owner was great and even said she can special order certain items in the future if I'm looking for anything specific they don't carry. I'd happily give her my business rather than trying to source special ingredients on Amazon :)

5 Stars for a great strawberry matcha latte and phenomenal cappuccino…read more This coffee and matcha shop has so much more to it than a typical coffee shop. It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

I like the branding, brightness of the cafe, and the fact that there's a decent amount of seating. I got the Iced French Vanilla Espresso Latte + Espresso Teddy which was well-made, bold, and enjoyable. I think the Espresso Teddy is actually made with cold brew and not espresso which I expected given the name and would have preferred. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the slow melt and the boost of caffeine I got as I kept sipping. And it's super cute! The Iced Mont Blanc was also a good try; the sweet orange flavor was subtle and surprisingly enjoyable adding a bright taste to each sip. If I'm ever back in Providence, I would totally come back and maybe try their matcha drinks.
