I always take a look at the men's shirts first. I was very surprised to see them tagged at $12 here, which is substantially more than I customarily see at the Simsbury store, where I've picked up quite a few similar long sleeve Oxford shirts for $5. Otherwise, the store is very neat and organized and has the usual accompaniment of clothing, footwear, accessories, household goods, books, etc. I'm definitely a fan of thrift and second hand stores, and even though I was looking for a long sleeve white shirt, I walked out empty-handed today.

Last, donuts, at $1.35 each are an excellent value, and so much more reasonable that that national chain that took the word "Donuts" out of its name. Discounts for quantity, too. It got to the point earlier this year, that I was visiting several times a week. So, no lie, I actually gave up the Geissler's steam table FOR LENT, FOR CRIPES SAKE!!! The item was clearly marked on the shelf at the listed price, but I was charged more at the register. When I politely pointed this out to the cashier (who was wearing a black jacket with a black hoodie pulled over their head), I was directed to speak with the manager, Wema. I explained the situation and simply asked for a refund of the overcharge. His response? "We raise prices." When I pointed out that the shelf tag should reflect the current price if it had been increased, he disagreed and refused to make the adjustment. I even reminded him about basic consumer protection expectations and asked if refusing to correct the price difference was really worth damaging the store's reputation with a negative review. Apparently, for him, it was. We are talking .25 cents Look, I understand this wasn't a large amount. But this isn't about the money -- it's about basic honesty and respect for customers. If the price changed, the shelf tag should have been updated. If there's an honest mistake, a manager should be willing to correct it rather than dismiss the customer. This experience left me wondering how many other items in the store might be priced incorrectly on the shelf but ring up higher at checkout. Additionally, the cashier's attire (black jacket and hoodie over the head) did not align with Dollar Tree's typical dress code, which calls for a solid green or white collared shirt and black or khaki pants. It's not a good look for a major retailer. Dollar Tree, you need to do better. Train your managers to actually resolve simple customer issues instead of brushing them off. Clean up your image, update your shelf prices accurately, and ensure your staff presents themselves professionally. A little integrity goes a long way. When I first walked inside I saw the colorful assortment of fruits and vegetables. I saw avocados for only 45 cents each. I love avocados, I have never seen them priced so low before. While on a mission to find something, I was more successful in finding it myself, than one of the workers who told me "we don't sell that here". Navigating this huge store is challenging, especially since it was my first time here and I was short on time. I didn't get to see everything I wanted. This Walmart features a pharmacy, photo center, a bakery, a nail salon and more.

This location had a lot more licensed products than the one in West Springfield and it is a larger store. They had frozen, paw patrol, Yankees/ Red Sox/ patriots gear, just about everything. The store was very clean and well stocked. I will say that they definitely had mostly toys and gifts, which is super smart based on the season. The line was hella long, but it moved quickly and the staff was friendly. Good job!
