I am shocked that this mall is even in business seeing that it is so close to the larger Holyoke mall. It's one level with a movie theater and a Target. There is no food court. Yup its a mall with no food court. Weird! I was here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. I would not go out of my way to shop here.

Great place to film a scary movie at night. Someone has to save this place! I bet it was nice when it first opened but now it's dead.

"Oh, Socrates and Plato Praised it to the skies…read moreEveryone that ever loved Everyone that ever tried" (Van Morrison) The website for Plato's Closet tells me "With more than 500 individually owned and operated locations, Plato's Closet makes it easy to support local while shopping sustainably and affordably. Bring in your gently used clothes, shoes and accessories and get cash on the spot, or shop around for some like-new looks-- we've got styles and sizes for every body." I was surprised to see their Enfield location had such a low Yelp rating, because I thought the store was pretty good on a lot of features. #1 - The store was very neat and very well organized with plenty of signs indicating the various sizes of clothing. #2 - The store had a TON of clothing -men's women's, accessories, etc. #3 - Pricing seemed pretty nice -I saw a few gorgeous pairs of like-new sneakers (Saukony) for just $15. As far as thrift and consignment stores go, this one was pretty impressive.

Genuinely don't understand how Plato's Closet is still in business. The attitudes in this store are…read moreinsane for people working a resale counter. Staff act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, and the buying process is a joke. They'll turn down items that are basically brand new while their racks are full of worn-out, questionable pieces. Make it make sense. The whole place feels unorganized, unprofessional, and honestly just unpleasant to be in. Save yourself the time and go literally anywhere else

I really miss Mimi. She was great with everyone when she ran the shop. If the price tag date was a…read morecouple of days early and you wanted to purchase it to get the discounted sale price, Mimi would honor that. Her selection of clothing and other merchandise for sale in her shop were very well chosen (timeless, classics, vintage, hip, trendy etc), on her part. Mimi was a class act! I was sad to see her move. But hopeful the new owner would continue with the great quality of style and fashion sense. Only to be disappointed, VERY DISAPPOINTING! The new owner can be somewhat rude at times. And the selection of clothes and items are not so hot anymore. She is kind of greedy. My experiences with her have not been so great. And the new owner moved and where she moved is awful....hardy any parking spaces and everything is packed so tight, it's hard to shop. The new shop is extremely smaller in size and the set up of the store in general was unorganized. Merchandise was clump together tightly packed, doesn't flow and it just seemed cluttered and some merchandise not easily accessible at all. The new owner should not have moved, BIG BUSINESS MISTAKE. I think she hurt herself by moving. So many people I have chatted with are very disappointed by her move as well and how she treats people poorly. Mimi had a great successful popular shop and the location was perfect. Wished new owner didn't make so many changes. If the wheel wasn't broken why fix it or make so many unnecessary changes. This is the second shop for this new owner. Her first boutique failed and it use to be right next store to Mimi's. After her first boutique failed, her and Mimi worked out things where she (the new owner) would take over and be the new owner at Mimi's. Some changes were fine. I get the new owner wanted to eventually change the name of the shop and make some changes, but moving was a big mistake. She also needs to treat all her customers nicely with respect.....not just a select few. May 2026
