Most of the time I have to shape my nails when I get home because they are too thick or crooked. I've had issues with Cindy all the time I've seen her. Sometimes she's nice but most of the time she is super irritated. She doesn't listen to what the customer is asking for and she's created little "mini scenes" before but speaks in her native tongue, which you can clearly tell she's sitting their taking about the person she's doing the nails on. Today I came in around 4:10 and still gave my business to Cindy. Why, because I'm not always unhappy with the qualify of her work. Mind you, she is in the service industry and I'm paying for the service. Am I crazy for asking for a change in shape? Or for her to file a nail straight? Or to fill in a massive gap from the cuticle because it still looks like over a week's growth? I am picky with my nails but I've always taken care of the nail techs. Who wants to spend $100+ for crappy and crooked looking nails that look like they already have a week's growth? I know that I like the powder to be pretty close to the cuticles. I'm not asking for them to be on my cuticles but I also don't want them to look like they were done a week ago either after spending what we spend on our nails. . Cindy must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today. She wasn't pleasant at all and was super rude not only to me but she made a complete ass of herself. I was absolutely embarrassed and mortified that she was behaving the way she was, raising her voice and creating such a scene for the entire shop to hear her. I think she is seriously an unhappy person in general. She's never really welcoming at all and she's always got this look on her face that she doesn't want to be there. If that's the case, then don't be there. But don't ruin everyone else's day with your terrible attitude. So she asked what shape I wanted. I tried asking what she thought if I went back to the square vs the pointed. What does she do, files my thumb down and tells me it won't look good. So she's on her rant as she decides to fill my nails. I tell her to please keep them thin as they were a too thick last time. She filed them down so thin that I felt it burning on the nail and she nicked several of my cuticles. So finally I say, leave them the shape they are and let's shorten. She wasn't happy that I asked to have them shorter. She raises her voice, you want them shorter now? And I said yes. My nails on the right hand were so crooked I asked her to shape them and that is when she basically lost it and raised her voice again and created a show for everyone. I sat there and just listened to her spew out whatever she was going to spew out and finally said enough is enough, I'm done. Told her never in all my years of having my nails done have I ever been spoken to or treated this way. She kept going on and on and wouldn't stop. The owner came over and she was still putting on her show and just asked if she could finish doing my nails. I have referred Cindy to many people but never again. If you go here, ask for Kelly or the owner, Le. Do not ever ask for Cindy. In fact, I asked if Le was the owner and she said yes but she's not tough. I told her she needed to be tough because Cindy is a bad reflection of the entire shop. And her behavior was totally inappropriate. If it was my shop, she would have been fired a long time ago. This is so unfortunate because I thought I found a great nail shop in the area. The owner is very nice and she will continue to lose business because of the one rotten apple, Cindy.

The lady doing my manicure was extremely thorough and mad sure I liked the color/shape/etc. I just got the basic pedicure but the tech was also very thorough and took her time. Prices were a bit higher than what I might pay at some other places but the SNS dip quality was great, just don't know why salons charge extra to for the "manicure" part (i.e. cuticles, etc) on top of an already $50 mani. But either way, I do like this place so would come back!

I get in and they said they could take the chrime coat off and I stated the only reason I picked this color was because it was a chrome overlay. the color looks different without the over lay and since the overlay doesn't last i want a different color so i wont have to worry about it. they let me pick a different color. I go to leave and they said I had to pay because I picked a different color, I explained why I picked a different color and they stated the policy only covers for same color. No where does it read that, this is not how to treat a customer! I highly recommend going to La nails right down the road! You are in a service industry and we as customers are paying for the service and it isn't cheap. They already charge you for every little thing. So if I have a question and am not happy and ask you to fix it, a terrible, disgruntled attitude, comments under your breath is not the way you respond. Nonetheless, you don't start speaking Vietnamese talking about the client, which we all know this is what they do. Today, I came in without an appt to meet a friend and I recommended this location and for her to see Kelly. I've had pretty great service from Kelly and didn't think I'd get terrible service because Vicky (the owner) and Kelly have always been so great. But I thought I'd take the chance. The guy who did my pedicure today was great. The girl, Helen, man she was not so pleasant. I took a call that I couldn't miss and messed up the clear gel and apologized and she had major attitude. She started painting my left hand and the polish was so far away from my cuticle, I asked if she could get a little closer. I didn't ask for my cuticle to be polished, I asked to just make it a little closer. She begins speaking in Vietnamese and Kelly comes over to look and says something and then proceeds on with polishing my nails so sloppy that she painted my cuticles. She then tries to be nice to me and I said to her that she's in a service industry and if she wasn't happy that was fine but to give her disgruntled attitude is super unnecessary. She then says, Kelly knows how you like your nails and I don't but I won't ever do your nails and I said, great because I will wait for Kelly and never have you do them either, except she probably just lost her customer. As I checked out, I said to her, next time she decides to talk about her customers, she should at least speak in English. She didn't like that either and then just went off in her native tongue. The vibe and my usual pleasant experience today was terrible all because of Helen. So if you come to this nail salon, I will old only recommend Vicky and Kelly. Never Helen or you'll get the same experience. She don't deserve the tip but I tipped her anyways.

I was surprised at how easily we were seen on a Saturday morning but I believe it was spring break so maybe that's why! Brenda did my manicure and pedicure this time and she was phenomenal. She did a wonderful job especially shaping my nails. Her attention to detail was very much appreciated. And the price of $53 for both services was an added bonus. I will definitely be coming here when I come visit my family! The entire staff was helpful and kind and made my mom and sister comfortable as well.

I ended up getting pushed into gel polish a few times which resulted in hives and itchy, flaking skin. Whenever I'd go back and say I really just want regular polish, they'd push back.
