I've been to Designer Nails several times now since I've moved to the area. I've given my business to Cindy and always walk out of there 50/50 with being happy. Most of the time I have to shape my nails when I get home because they are too thick or crooked. I've had issues with Cindy all the time I've seen her. Sometimes she's nice but most of the time she is super irritated. She doesn't listen to what the customer is asking for and she's created little "mini scenes" before but speaks in her native tongue, which you can clearly tell she's sitting their taking about the person she's doing the nails on. Today I came in around 4:10 and still gave my business to Cindy. Why, because I'm not always unhappy with the qualify of her work. Mind you, she is in the service industry and I'm paying for the service. Am I crazy for asking for a change in shape? Or for her to file a nail straight? Or to fill in a massive gap from the cuticle because it still looks like over a week's growth? I am picky with my nails but I've always taken care of the nail techs. Who wants to spend $100+ for crappy and crooked looking nails that look like they already have a week's growth? I know that I like the powder to be pretty close to the cuticles. I'm not asking for them to be on my cuticles but I also don't want them to look like they were done a week ago either after spending what we spend on our nails. . Cindy must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today. She wasn't pleasant at all and was super rude not only to me but she made a complete ass of herself. I was absolutely embarrassed and mortified that she was behaving the way she was, raising her voice and creating such a scene for the entire shop to hear her. I think she is seriously an unhappy person in general. She's never really welcoming at all and she's always got this look on her face that she doesn't want to be there. If that's the case, then don't be there. But don't ruin everyone else's day with your terrible attitude. So she asked what shape I wanted. I tried asking what she thought if I went back to the square vs the pointed. What does she do, files my thumb down and tells me it won't look good. So she's on her rant as she decides to fill my nails. I tell her to please keep them thin as they were a too thick last time. She filed them down so thin that I felt it burning on the nail and she nicked several of my cuticles. So finally I say, leave them the shape they are and let's shorten. She wasn't happy that I asked to have them shorter. She raises her voice, you want them shorter now? And I said yes. My nails on the right hand were so crooked I asked her to shape them and that is when she basically lost it and raised her voice again and created a show for everyone. I sat there and just listened to her spew out whatever she was going to spew out and finally said enough is enough, I'm done. Told her never in all my years of having my nails done have I ever been spoken to or treated this way. She kept going on and on and wouldn't stop. The owner came over and she was still putting on her show and just asked if she could finish doing my nails. I have referred Cindy to many people but never again. If you go here, ask for Kelly or the owner, Le. Do not ever ask for Cindy. In fact, I asked if Le was the owner and she said yes but she's not tough. I told her she needed to be tough because Cindy is a bad reflection of the entire shop. And her behavior was totally inappropriate. If it was my shop, she would have been fired a long time ago. This is so unfortunate because I thought I found a great nail shop in the area. The owner is very nice and she will continue to lose business because of the one rotten apple, Cindy. read more

Got me in straight as a walk-in (mid day during the week so they weren't busy). They were friendly and accommodating. The lady doing my manicure was extremely thorough and mad sure I liked the color/shape/etc. I just got the basic pedicure but the tech was also very thorough and took her time. Prices were a bit higher than what I might pay at some other places but the SNS dip quality was great, just don't know why salons charge extra to for the "manicure" part (i.e. cuticles, etc) on top of an already $50 mani. But either way, I do like this place so would come back! read more

It took me a day to process and figure out why my gel nail polish was coming off within 24 hours of leaving the salon for the second time: the manicurist did NOT do an overlay. She removed the original gel polish, shaped my natural nails, then re-applied gel polish to my natural nails. Thanks for not giving me what I paid for! Now I have to pay a salon to have my nails done (2 days later). I cannot excuse her because she has been adamant about me getting the overlay on my natural nails each time In the past. read more

I thought I'd try the SNS dip, so I came here. Now, I usually get pedicures wherever I go to a nail salon but I wanted to get a manicure this time. They're not horrible, but I've reached the conclusion that these nail salons you see on every strip mall and corner of the street don't have qualified people. They finish a basic cosmetology class so they can get a license and that's it. They never further their education. This place is no different. I paid extra $10 for cuticle removal. Should have saved it as she pushed the dip into the sides of the nails. They are short, square stubby nails and I definitely would suggest you save your $50+ tip and do your own at home. After many tries to find a nail person, I believe the US does not have competent nail techs. read more

not exaggerating when i say it's the worst gel polish i've ever gotten :/ it was $30 without tips, and took two hours to be completed. the tech was also very rough and caused some of my skin to be scraped off when filing. when removing my old gel polish, she burned the tops of my nails a few times. 2 others went with me, and their pedicures looked great! but i will not be going back, as this was the worst service & results i've ever gotten for the price. read more

Apparently, most nail shops in the Warner Robins area are closed on Sunday, not designer nails. I walked in with my daughter and it was a standard nail shop experience. Pick your color then go have a seat until someone can get to you. The chairs had the massage function which was very easy for my daughter and I to use. We opted for the standard pedicure and in no time we were ready for a color. Our request was orange and purple toes with a spider drawn on. I explained what we wanted and they made it happen. I was really happy that I was not Nickel and dime'd about the prices and that they were so kind to my 7yr old daughter. I truly felt that they wanted us to leave there happy and we were. One other thing that I liked was that they allowed the water to drain while the plastic cover was on the basin (unlike the last place I reviewed). Additionally, there were a multitude of options for pedicures which was really nice and I look forward to going there again. read more

Okay, visiting from Atlanta and needed a fill in! I was with my sis-in-law and had Kevin/Jack!! I ask a lot of questions when visiting a new nail shop as I am a city girl that's nail snobbish with her nails! Seen they could do all the latest trends based on all the wall displays. I felt right at home with the hundreds of colors they had to offer in the small town. So I showed a picture of what I was looking for and at first was concerned that they weren't gonna be unable to match it. Kevin did the fill in and gel color and then Jack followed up with the tie dye design (add cost for tie dye). All I can say is shout out to both for taking great care of my nails and yes they nailed it! Great customer service and very little wait time! So now I have another go to when I'm in the area! Awful!!! I had an acrylic fill. When the lady was using the drill she was drilling into the sides of my fingers and digging into my nails. When she filed them, they are all uneven. My nails are more of square shape, she filed one hand into a stiletto shape and the other has nails that are squared and some that are rounded. Then after I chose a polish, she chose a different color and started applying it. Halfway through applying the polish I told her that it wasn't the color that I had originally picked. She then said oh we don't have that color and continued with the color she had picked. And at the end, she put so much oil on my fingers that I couldn't touch anything. DO NOT GO HERE. just got my nails done at this shop. my toes were perfect, nails were horrible. I got a cut down and a reshape back to coffin. she cut my nails down and reshaped my nails but shaped them horribly. I tried to tell her and she gave me attitude. can't remember person's name but she filed so much off of the side of my thumb nail, it went down to the meat of my nail bed. the acrylic on my nails is bumpy and some nails are crooked. she even filed my nails AFTER putting gel polish on and cureing them under the UV light. WHY?! My total was about 59 but I refused to pay that. they gave me a $10 discount. they offered to take polish off and redo but I don't have time to sit for something that should have been done right the first time. they said I could come back another day, I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. paid the 49 to just end the argument but it wasn't even worth that. should have just went to my regular shop but they are closed on Sunday's. worst mistake ever and a waste of time and money! Will not ever be coming back. First of all, it took 2.5 hours to get a full set. I asked for thinner filed acrylic nails with a rounded shape and left with thick, warped, square cinderblocks. The nail tech was SO rough with my fingers, I know they well be sore tomorrow. She put the coats of polish on so thick they still aren't dry. She cut me once and smeared the polish all over the edges of my fingers. TERRIBLE. read more

I love this salon! I came in at 7:45 pm.. right before closing with my grandson. I needed a pedi and full set. I was willing to get one or the other because they were closing. They happily accommodated me and gave my grandson a pedi! They did you nails too and the pedi was heaven! I'll go back and make this my new regular spot! I will not be returning to this place I just got a fill in done and the whole experience was unpleasant, first i was sat down with one lady then she randomly left to go assist another lady who had just walked in ! Unprofessional! Then another lady took me ,the lady by the cash register was so rude and so rough on my hands ! She kept sliding the drill into my skin! She would give me annoyed looks and when I dropped something I tried to pick it up and she yanked my hand back and asked me not to move! She did my nails super quick but I'm a bad way , in a way that she didn't care , she missed a coat of polish which left my nails looking faded in some areas and after I was done with the gel fill ins she filed them down and takes half of the shape off ! I try so hard to like this place. It is a very friendly and nice environment however, they will take advantage of you. Example I went in for a gel fill, went to pay the bill and there was a $2 charge bevsuse as the cashier put it because he had to polish (Polish meaning the clear coat that goes on top of gel nails) my nails and put them under the light now gel is typically cured with the topcoat and UV light so I was unaware that that was an additional charge but i paid and went on my merry way. Then i went back this time for a solar full set which i have never had before, so I picked out my my color and I sat in the chair unaware of the solar nail process i trust the nail tech to do what he supposedto do well that didnt happen. My nails were not cured with UV light as i latter found out they should have been and took the polish off to rock the natural look of solar nails and what do ya know i have little air bubbles in them read more

Horrible experience here! My friend and I went here for a manicure last weekend. She was visiting from out of town so we wanted to do something fun together. We politely requested to be seated side by side so we could visit during our manicures (there were plenty of side by side tables open to accommodate this request.) However, they proceeded to separate us, seating me at a table far away (the #1 table by the cash register), shrugged and said "sorry" in a condescending way when I said that's not what we asked for and explained again we don't see each other much and wanted to be able to talk to each other during the manicures... You could tell this woman could care less. She then proceeded to jerk my hands around and give an extremely short hand massage during the least enjoyable, shortest manicure I've ever experienced. She was loudly calling out to her co-workers across the room during the entire manicure, shooting me annoyed looks. She treated me and my friend as if we were huge pains and an inconvenience to her. I will NEVER go back here and will tell as many people as I can to stay away from here. It's unfortunate because some of the other people there seemed decent and not as rude as this woman was. But not worth ever going back. Go to Bamboo on Watson Blvd instead - they actually APPRECIATE your business and treat you like a valued customer which is what you want when you're spending your hard earned money to pamper yourself & relax. read more
