Prices are reasonable. They do appointments but I tend to just walk in and never wait long. I'll be back to being a regular soon.

When he did my pedicure he did not exfoliate all the dead skin off. The very next day my feet looked like I never got a pedi and the polish on my gel nails was peeling off. The manager welcomed us back to correct the issues which was great. But he gave excuses for the issues by saying it was my fault for having dry skin or for being to hard on the nails. Instead of taking responsibility. I'm a housewife, I don't wash dishes, I don't do hard labor or heavy lifting, or walk around barefoot. There's absolutely no reason my mani and deluxe pedi should already be falling apart the very next day. I've never been to a nail salon, paid over $100+ and the very next day it was already coming off and feet looked like I didn't even have a DELUXE pedicure. When I do my own pedicure at home, my feet are soft for at least a week. And I don't even have the professional tools or products. While I greatly appreciate the managers willingness to correct the issues; he still did the bare minimum to correctly fix the issues. Removing some polish but not all and painting over it but the previous color can still be seen and then not wanting to correct that new issue. Rushing to correct the problems but not respecting the requests during correction. Like removing all of the black polish before you put new polish on. Then when my husband says it again, THEN he corrected it. I didn't feel like they respected my requests or my business. If I'm paying for a service, I expect you to perform the service well. Not rush through it, do it half way, and then disregard or ignore the correction when the customer is not pleased with the result. I also expect full accountability. It should be done well the first time and if not, it should most definitely be done with care and willingness to accommodate the requests. I shouldn't be made to feel as if I'm creating an inconvenience for your employees poor service.

I would be remiss if I did not share my experience. I normally do not leave reviews, but my last…read morevisit left me with a very negative impression. I have been a loyal EWC customer for almost 10 years and have always had excellent service at various locations. Unfortunately, the Durbin location was the first time I walked away genuinely disappointed -- and it had nothing to do with the wax specialist, who was wonderful. The issue was the front desk receptionist. She was extremely rude and dismissive, rolling her eyes and speaking in a condescending manner. As the first point of contact for customers, she should be polite, patient, and welcoming. Instead, her tone and attitude were completely inappropriate.I was approximately ten minutes late due to traffic, and when I approached the desk, she spoke to me as if I were a child arriving late to class. I also had to wait for her to check out the customer ahead of me -- which took at least five minutes -- so the "lateness" was hardly one-sided. Even that customer looked visibly frustrated with her behavior. When I checked in and explained that traffic had delayed me, she told me she would "let it slide this time," but made a point to emphasize that being nine minutes late would result in a charge. She then handed me three forms to sign, stating they were "so I understand the policy." There are a hundred ways to communicate a policy professionally and respectfully. Delivering it in a punitive and humiliating manner is unacceptable. As I was heading to the back for my service, I saw her roll her eyes again. That was entirely unnecessary and unprofessional. This was my first poor experience with EWC, and I want to believe she may have been having a bad day. But if that is the case, she should have stayed home instead of projecting that negativity onto customers who come in expecting a pleasant and professional environment from a reputable company. She is simply not an appropriate first face for customer engagement. Management should strongly reconsider who they place at the front desk; someone who smiles, radiates positivity, and represents the EWC brand appropriately would make a world of difference.

First pic, what I requested exactly, especially pointing out the shape, the smooth transition from dipped nails to cuticle, color, just dipped, not painted, and length. Next pics, what I got after 2.5 hours, and after asking for changes, telling her I didn't want the length. Then pics on two that lifted/fell off Saturday, and then one that broke and damaged my nail bed today. Problems: not smooth. Lumpy, weird like duck bills, not the target pic. She put obvious silver glitter on one third of the nail, kept telling me it was better, I said no, it's nice for other, but not what I want. She removed it then paintedy nails this pink color and added silver glitter swipe like dollar store polish. She told me her nails last a month. 2 weeks, two lifted and fell off on non dominant hand. Should have been $60 per the website, charged me $75 with a whole lot of manipulative attitude. I paid and ripped well as I always do ($30) because I never wanted to go back or think of the service or have any ties to them at all. But now I have to spend more time or just remove them all and spend more money. Very devious, kept saying trust me, trust me, trust me and her 27 years of experience and how fancy she did nails in Manhattan. I don't recommend. I've worn all sets of dipped nails a month and only had one nail break or lift in the past 3 years. Nails are a luxury and this experience was like spending $75 on something from 5 and Below.
